For the fourth year running I have ordered beautiful vegetarian (and vegan) fare from this fantastic outfit. Very good value, delicious food that delights even carnivores. This year we had pea kachori, samosas and onion bhajia for starters and hot chili bhajias. For mains we had undihuyu green veg curry, paneer tikka masala, potatoes and aubergine curry and chickpea curry, served with rice or mini breads. The sweets are beautiful too. Good for an individual takeaway too. Cannot recommend highly enough Thanks Vee and your brothers and team

This is a takeaway shop selling all sorts of extremely fresh Indian style snacks & sweets. My favourites are the Punjabi samosas & dhokla. Almost always busy particularly at weekends. Vegetarian.

It has always been my favourite family run business in the world. I adore visiting them and chatting .The food is lovely and SUPER FRESH. I would never imagine them wanting to "try another day" with their food. They know how long it is good for . The family are lovely and super friendly .Can other shops in North london do the same or better ? Maybe ! But going to Wembley is not my idea of fun :-) For the price they charge and the pleasant manner in service etc .It always will be a place that makes me smile .

I was there the other day to buy some Indian sweets and some savoury starters. The service was very good and really enjoyed all that I’d bought. Have been there before.

We bought some snacks. The samosas were very nice but a bit small. However the othe snacks were disappointing. The kachori was dry and felt like it was from the previous day. The daal snack was inedible, tasteless, dry and felt like it was also left over from the previous day. Will give them another go as maybe we were unlucky .

Friendly staff, nice eats, being going here years for their sweets, samosas, hot stuffed chillis, jellabi. Always been good and better than anywhere else we have tried. Definite recommend above all the rest.

After reading about this place in Time out magazine I came. I had 2 Indian sweets. Also freshly cooked Samosas cost only 40p. Taste delicious. If I am in town again I be back.

On arriving for a quick stay in Finchley, I make a beeline to get me some of these delectable samosas; the flakey triangular Gujarati ones. Today I discovered the joys of their aloo tiki. And lo my great delight, they also now have take out food of vegetables , chappati, Poori , sabudana kitchidi and more . Handwritten signs on the back wall declare the items available that day. I plan to be back tomorrow to take out these promising bits of heaven. Another review will follow. Btw. I don’t think the gentleman behind the counter is rude. He is a bit shy and soft spoken. Be a bit patient. The food is totally worth it .

I have been a customer for about 40 years and their standards have been very good over all that time. I have seen their family grow up as they have mine and that is nice. Sometimes the business is very very busy but be patient as what you take away will be worth the wait. Now we live in Wales 200 miles away it is not so easy to call in but we do try when visiting locally and my son is always waiting for the jelabies even though they may be a day old when we arrive home. All vegetarian food and vegetarian ghee . Good things made by good people.

I wish I could live in Finchley just to be near this place. The first time I went there, they couldn't change a 50 pound note. I almost gave up. But I had to do some shopping at Tesco so I walked there and back. Glad I did. The samosas and kachoris are the best I have had. There are a lot of other snacks and sweets. All are pure vegetarian, which is an added bonus for me. The samosas were fresh and were crisp and yummy even when heated slightly in a microwave. My daughter and I enjoyed strawberries with cream and samosas as often as we could each afternoon.

Lovely little shop, they do a WIDE variety of indian snacks and street food. That's the only thing they do and they are often very busy. That is usually a good sign, and boy they do deliver! They do things I've never tried before in...
