Woodhouse Tandoori in Barnet

I’ve been ordering from Woodhouse Tandoori for a few years now and it’s the most consistent curry house I’ve ever ordered from! Always good quality food, excellent flavours, reasonably priced and very friendly staff/delivery drivers! I’ve even convinced my parents to change from their usual curry house to this place and they’re a big fan too! Thanks and keep it up!

I've been coming to this place for the last 10+ years and they never disappoint. They are always incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The food is very high quality, always cooked fresh on the day. They have an amazing selection of vegetarian/vegan options and they also now serve quorn curries which is a god send. I would never consider going anywhere else.

I have used this takeaway for many years and can safely say that it has never failed to deliver good food. The selection is extensive and the quality of meat used in the dishes is really good (for example, good sized breast meat cubes in the Chicken Biryani). If you are ordering for the family and spend £50 or more, you will even get a free half tandoori chicken!! If you are in North Finchley and fancy a curry then try this one - they will deliver too. Recommend.

Amazingly good food.. All of of it tasted freshly cooked. I particularly liked the Chicken Biriani, normally I don't like the vegetable curry that accompanies it but this one was spot on. Man who delivered it was friendly, good to have someone delivering with a smile. 5 stars for me!

Allways tasty&fresh. Nice tender meat. Lovely keema nan. Also nice mango&kulfi ice cream. We only order indian food from woodhouse tandoori now&we have tried lots of others in the area.

So tasty. We loved it. I had tandoori mixed grill and will order again. Mynpartner had chicken tikka masala and loved that too. Thank you will be back again soon x

Lovely food, authentic but modern. Delicate flavours, not too much fat or salt. Lamb chop starter, chilli naan, keema peas especially recommended. Courteous service.

Please be aware woodhouse tandoori are serving rice contaminated with rubber.. you can roll the rice into a ball and it bounced like a rubber ball.. please search YouTube.. rubber rice London to see the contaminated rice... Please be careful it is poisenes

We've as a family have often ordered our Indian take out from here. It has always delivered great food. The curries are yummy and super tasty. We've now introduced a load of friends and family to it and they too have said the same and now don't really order from anywhere else. Great food. Friendly staff 😊

Brilliant Indian food in London!

Woodhouse Tandoori is by far one of the very best that I have ever come across. I have always ordered two curries from here, one for now and another for tomorrow as they taste so very good, Every bite into the chicken curry makes my stomach fill up in a satisfying way that can not be explained. Delivering the food to me in Whetstone, they always make sure that the food is hot and ready to be eaten. I found their service to be outstanding and go beyond and above to ensure that the food is above the level expected. For me personally, I love the food that comes from here and the generous amount that they give to us...wow, just wow. A highly recommended place to order from and excellent value for money!

Quick delivery and hot food, exactly as ordered.

It was ok, bit the best in the area but ok. A step up from a supermarket curry. Some of the dishes contained lots of sauce and little else.

Food was ok but cold. One item was wrong. When I called the restaurant to ask for a refund, they were rude and said it was a busy Friday night and there's nothing they can do. I contacted Just Eat but no help there either.

This meal disappointed us. The onion bhaji was claggy and tasteless. The lamb in the boishakee curry was very poor, like kebab meat. The naans were flabby and Luke warm. Overall, we wished we had ordered from somewhere else.

Chicken curry portion was really small. (Didn't get to taste it though). Naan was really good. Tandoori lamb chops were ok. Butter paneer was nice.

Food was awful, no real flavour. Threw most of it away!! Save yourselfs the time from ordering from here

The food was awful. Utterly bland, didn't taste of anything. Don't get a curry from here, there are lots of other better ones in the area. Really disappointed. The only good thing was they delivered really quickly.

Amazing food, not only was a really good choice of known traditional curry but taste and freshness was out of this world, first time ordering from this takeaway and will defiantly be using them again!! Would have liked a few free popadoms for the amount spent but hey room for inprovment!!

AWFUL!!!! This is the first time I've ordered a completely inedible takeaway. The prawn dansak had rock hard prawns which were gone off. It was clear from trying two prawns that they were contaminated. The rest of the meal including bombay aloo, vegetable samosa, onion bhaji, brinjal bhaji and saag rice all tasted like they'd been cooked in washing up liquid. I've had bad takeaway before but I've never been completely unable to eat a meal. My husband tried the food too, and his usually strong stomach could not take it either. I tried to call the take away to request they return and take the food back but had no answer. I will be requesting a refund on the grounds of being given out of date food.

I can only comment on delivery food here as this is the only service we use from this restaurant. I'm writing this in the hope that the owners take note. I have complained about the variable quality, ranging from very good to very poor. I'm afraid we will suspend orders following the last which was frankly disgusting. There is no point in naming the dishes as they were all great tubs of amorphous slop, as if somebody had scraped yesterdays left overs into a bowl, microwaved them and delivered the. I wouldn't fill in the cracks on my patio with this food, dreadful, tasteless, lumps of hard, dry meat in a goo. I am upset that the owners have a low enough opinion of me, as a regular old customer, to insult my intelligence by delivering this rubbish. There are obviously no standards or quality control with delivery food. Last time I will order.

All of the food we ordered was lovely, hot and great tasting. It was delivered on time and hot ready to eat. However, we ordered king prawns which costs nearly £11.00 but the prawns where very small and only had about 6-7 prawns - even though they were very tasty, the amount of prawns we got was not worth the £11.00 as we expected more for our money. Overall great tasting food and great service we will be ordering and buying from here again without the prawns unless they serve more and will recommend to others!

Amazing food, quick delivery and the price wasn't bad for the amount of food they give. Will be ordering again soon. But their food is extremely spicy and hot wish they had option on just eat to choose how spicy you wanted to be.

This used to be our favourite take away. Excellent food. Except it has been ruined the last few times by the the rudest delivery driver i have ever met. Rude, dirty looks and comments under breath. Happened the last 4 times. On complaining, was told they would 'speak to him'. Not good enough, will not be ordering from here again.

Quite sad about this. Food arrived quickly without any hint is was a curry. Chicken rogan was bland with tomatoes and little else. No spices at all. Just chicken and tomatoes. Milder than mild. Think the chef must have had a bad day. Pilau rice was fine. Aloo gobi bland as well. Shame. May use again but only by phoning direct and speaking to chef.

The samosas and onion bhajis were (very) cold. Not sure they had been cooked or reheated. Hmm.

Delivered 30 minutes before requested time and we were not ready. Got cucumber raita rather than onion requested. No mushrooms with chicken meal as requested. Veg Samosas expensive for only two.
