Food was 40 minutes late and so not very warm. It didn’t taste very good either. For an Indian meal it was rather bland.

Takeaways from this place are among the best I have ever eaten. I live in Norfolk but used to live near Luton so was used to good Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants... when I travel to North London to see family I always get a takeaway and the place is heaving with happy customers, Outstanding - love the non-bright red Tandoori - natural colour and wonderful flavour.

Really tasty food, the lamb tikka was delicious. Only downside is the spice/flavour level was a bit mild. I’m sure it’s to accommodate the British palate. Next time I’m asking for a bit more punch, a bit more Bengali 🔥

Lovely family meal here for my husband’s birthday, and we were not disappointed. Abdul Rahman the owner and all the staff looked after us so well and made us feel welcome even though our 2 and 4 year old kids were very restless! The food was fresh, good quality and delicious. Not pretentious or in any way modern (it could possibly have been presented better), but literally speaks for itself. My chicken dish was full of flavour and I polished it off. Best peshwari naan I had had for a while and the lamb chops were generous and melt-in-the-mouth. Good mild options for kids too and loved the coconut surprise ice cream! Overall a really lovely meal and the restaurant was full on a Wednesday night. Say no more really.

Came here for dinner with my husband on Valentine's Day. This restaurant had been on our list of places to visit for years and finally made it here. The place was beautifully decked out for Valentine's Day and every girl was given a red rose upon departure. The staff were very friendly and attentive and prices were really different. The mixed grill was lovely and the breads were soft. A lovely dinner.

Just a lovely place to eat wonderful Indian cuisine! Abdul the owner is such a charming host and treats all his clients the same. A lovely experience to be had by all customers. The menu is very extensive and truly varied with lots of authentic dishes, you cannot fail to like something here. Have been coming here for some time now and have never been disappointed . All of the staff are so pleasant and helpful, which makes it a place you will want to visit again. Make a point to visit, you won't be disappointed.

I was happy with 3 out of the 4 dishes ordered. Unfortunately the pakoras were extremely oily and the batter had no flavor and was soggy. Not real pakoras.more like fritters. The chicken tikka , Rogan and chat was nice 👍 Delivery late but it was valentines night and was given a Rose 🌹 which was a great touch. Thank you

I’ve ordered takeaway from Taste of Nawab before, and have also eaten in recently. Both times, the food has been delicious and portion sizes excellent. However, I’d recommend dining in for the best experience. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The owner in particular was very keen to make our experience special and offered us free dessert (we were stuffed so declined), and chocolates with our bill. Would recommend!

We've been several times and I've reviewed before but I feel it's only fair to do update. We visited again last night and once again it was fantastic. Everyone cleared their plates both starters and mains. I live just outside of Bradford West Yorkshire which is considered the place to be in the UK for curry. Honestly this place is as good as anything you will get in Bradford. Really well prepared and good quality ingredients. The portion sizes are spot on and the staff are all lovely.

Always delicious food and a warm, friendly welcome from Abdul and his staff! When in my elder daughter visited us from the USA, and brought her boyfriend to meet us for the first time, she insisted on a takeaway from Taste of Nawab as soon as they arrived - boyfriend was so suitably impressed that he has since asked her to marry him! As for younger daughter, I think she only agrees to visit us when we promise her a takeaway from Taste of Nawab - at least, she always insists on one. We also love eating up the leftovers on the next day. You won't find a better meal.

They came much earlier than expected and the delivery driver needs to work on his customer service. No matter who you deliver to, standards shouldn’t slip. Anyway the curry was ok.. but the lamb chops was fatty and undercooked I had to throw it away.. the best thing was the garlic Nan bread which was delicious and soft so overall it’s a 4/10. They rushed the cooking process, which I can tell as I have ordered food from here before and it was nothing like last night :/

Excellent food and they provided a few extras. Only problem was due to Just Eat rather than the restaurant, who left out our door number, no option to add it in. No way to connect or chat to put the number in? No fault of the restaurant.

I have recently moved into the area and wanted to try the local curry house. My first time going in, the staff were really welcoming and friendly and the food was great. My second time, I requested a dish that was not on their menu, but they offered to make it anyway, and the taste was great. I'm pleased they are across the street from me, I'll be recommending this place to my friends.

Just celebrated my sisters 14th birthday with family and friends here. Absolutely lovely and amazing staff and ownership, and the food is perfect. Best place in town. Would reccomend if celebrating or if you just like friendly food.

Taste of Nawab is such a fantastic restaurant, not only is the food fantastic but everyone who works at the restaurant are kind, polite and very very hard working! The owner is incredibly generous and he highlighted this by offering a free dinner for everyone who was still affected by having no gas, heating and hot water as soon as the restaurant was up and running from having the same issue. He deserves every success and I hope to see his business grow even further in the future!

I have visited Taste of Nawab several times and have always had a great experience. The food and service have always been excellent and Abdul the manager is always very friendly. I can highly recommend the Lamb Rogan. It is also very good value for money and lots of options on the menu.

Came here for dinner on December 24th and had an amazing experience. My father ordered the chicken tika masala and it was my favorite dish, while I had the Korai panner, and I absolutely loved it. For me, it ties for best Indian food restaurant Ive been to. I totally recommend it.

Taste of Nawab is a truly unique experience. The food has to be tested to be believed. Not only is it perfectly cooked with "today's" fresh Ingredients but when it arrives it's always what you expected and a little bit more. The staff cannot do enough for you. The owner has created a wonderful relaxing environment that makes you feel "out with friends". It's always the highlight of my weekly visit and any other excuse I can make to come back. Abdul is a genius which is why this little restaurant is a constant award winner. Thank you Abdul.

Outstanding customer care and service, with wonderful food. The sag paneer (we prefer cubed, not creamed) genuinely tastes fresh, and the paneer naga chilli is a dish we love and haven't seen elsewhere (with Scotch Bonnet peppers - we order it less hot). It deserves its high rating. Abdul really cares about his customers and the community - we've even been invited to a buffet night on the house for regular customers.

What a service and what amazing food! The owner has a chat with everyone and makes sure everything is well, feels very personal and nice. The flavours are next level! We ordered quite a bit but we started of with pappadoms and their sauces are really nice! Then we had the pork chops and the king prawn puri 🤤 the roti with the prawn puri was to die for. Then we had some kind of lamb curry and I had the paneer korai 👌 with garlic naan and lemon garlic rice 😍 We will def be back!

Our new favorite restaurant! Perfect in every way. The food was unmatched. The staff accommodated mild food for 3 young kids and spicy dishes to appeal to those of us who preferred more spice. The owner was the most welcoming person. And the entire staff was incredibly kind to our youngest, who loved the food too, but made quite a mess as one year olds do. We will absolutely be back and if you're considering going, just make sure to book. Even early it was packed with regulars and plenty of locals grabbing takeaways too. Very mediocre. Chicken Shashlik not the real deal, masala and dupiatsa flavourless and watery. Peshwari flat, small and flavourless. Sag Aloo below average. Lots of other local Indians far superior. Never again. Overpriced too. Used this place a few times, always a poor standard.

Taste of Nawab is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Bengali food. The flavours are incredible, with every dish packed with the perfect blend of spices. The service is top-notch, too – the staff are super friendly and make you feel like family. Definitely worth a visit!

Food was OK, but not quite what I was expecting, but that may have been my misunderstanding their menu. However, it was missing 2 items from the order.

Food would have been nice but it was cold. Like actually cold - not even warm. Delivery driver couldn’t find the flat (despite google maps existing?) - he was two streets away and we had to wander the street to find him.

This place was recommended to me, but I must say what a disappointment it was, onion barge was Rubery, tandory grill had no flavour, the spinach side dishes was dry, the mamgo lassy was not cold enough. The nan bread was great and condiments was nice service was great, I was not going to say nothing but then I see they changed me for mango chatney how cheap is that, disgusting after spending 75 pounds. I'm so surprised how good there reviews are. If everyone thinks I'm taking rubbish, please challenge me, il be clad to take your chefs on, plus one more think, you should cook they tandory grill fresh not warm it up, as you can see I'm a chef who knows what his talking about. This is the classic, well run, long owned family business that you love to see. The customer service is 5 star, and if I was allowed to rate higher, I would. Great food, attentive waiters and owner and delicious food. The owner even walked us out and held the door open for us when we finished dining. You just don't get that level of service anymore, or anywhere else.

Our son in law collected a take away from here. The food was still hot when he arrived at the house. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The portions are great. Can't fault the place
