The best restaurants serving Indian food in Waveney East of England

This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint. Cannot fault this place. Great food. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Just left the Rajputh after the most amazing meal. The food was absolutely stunning. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Halesworth are fortunate to have such a good Indian restaurant. Next time in Suffolk we will be back

We have used this restaurant for years for dine in a takeaway, supporting them all through lockdown and beyond but will now never use them again. Arrogant and inconsiderate would be kind. The last two takeaway meals we ordered have been late, cold and partially inedible, the lamb being so tough I couldn’t even cut it let alone eat it. No apologise and made to feel an annoyance. The latest meal to night was late when telephoned told you ordered something different and would be there in 10 minutes. Delivery driver said the order he had in the car was sitting on the table when he went out 30 minutes ago and was till there when he got back and he was now delivering it! Our meal was cold and the lamb was too tough to cut let alone eat. Have learnt by experience not to bother talking to them as they never accept responsibility. Do not waste your money here

I have just had the most wonderful meal for one of balti chicken with a tandoori chicken starter. Also included was a poppadom, small salad, side dish, and a canned drink. I added mint sauce and plain naan to my meal and have enjoyed an absolute feast with such generous portions there is plenty left for tomorrow. Thank you so much for such beautiful food . It’s over 4 years I order from India Gate and it’s always great! I always get my food delivered or I collect I’ve actually never sat down but I always see the place very busy. The vegetarian food is amazing, the food always arrive piping hot and I can pay by card at the delivery I love it. My favorite take away in beccles!

Had a Takeaway. Food good but delivery dreadful. Two hours to deliver to Southwold! And it was no where near as hot as it should have been Was a small family gathering so did not want to complain at the time. Won’t be using them again!

Food is good but takeaway service is horrid Every time I order a takeaway from here it always turns up with something missing from my order

Terrible service. Food was 25 minutes late. And they completely missed out the rice and Bombay aloo. I called up and they told me they’ll send it out in 20 minutes. I explained the rest of my food would be cold by the time they bought it but he hung up on me. Plus the food was actually disgusting, never in my life have I tasted Indian food that wasn’t nice. The rice was over cooked and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. Bombay potatos were nasty
