This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint. Cannot fault this place. Great food. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

we have always used this restaurant every time we visit Lowestoft 4 times ayear and alway been out standing. from the moment you walk in to the time you leave so again we thought we would have a meal we was told to wait after 6 minutes he took us to a table the owner seemed to be very jumpy and on edge. food came very nice chicken madras the two different rices tasted the same 1 onion rice and 1 garlic the chicken jalfrazy had 3 bits on chicken in it and was full of onlon and the garlic naans that were stone cold were small the food was no way the same quality as our 9 other visits. the bill came and i asked for the itemised vat receipt the waiter said he could not give it to us so on our exit i asked the owner for the receipt he tore the vat number of the receipt and then gave it to us. i explaind again and was very reluctant to give it to use and made a big issue over how i treated him like Sh1t i have not even mentioned any thing about the poor food and the he told us to F off i will be contacting the inland revenue regarding his receipt issueing. by this time i had worked out that he had taken cokecain

The food was absolutely amazing!! Even better than Indian restaurants I've been to in London :) 10/10 will definitely be coming back and the staff were so kind thank you!

Went out with friends for a meal, the food was very tasty and plenty of it, was warned by waiter that mine was going to be spicy which it was and right up my street. Considering there were eight of us, all the meals turned up at the same time so kudos to the chef. Drinks are pricy but no different to most other places.

We went here for a meal before a show at the theatre, which is only a 10 minute walk. I had read good reviews on here about this restaurant so booked it. First impressions were that it wasn't the cleanest restaurant we had ever been in. There was s stain on the table cloth and the windowsill next to our table was sticky. We ordered drinks and food from very friendly waiters. Our starters were very nice and then the main course arrived. As well as getting what we ordered, we were also treated to onion bhajies and a cheesy chicken dish with the compliments of the house. This was our 1st time eating here, but speaking to the people on the table next to us this is a regular occurance. The food was really, really lovely, even if there was too much for us to eat it all. All in all a very lovely meal and the staff were very friendly we will certainly be going back when we're in the area.

Food was absolutely amazing full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were polite and friendly. The food arrived promptly and the drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will most certainly be going back.

We went there this week. The food was salty and bad smelly, probably old food. There was very less customers in the restaurant. The young waiter was rude and served the curry on the table, and he did not treat us well. Too bad situation, we will never go there.

Booked last minute but we were made very very welcome. Excellent meal and excellent service. Definitely make this a regular choice for a meal out. Food is delicious and plentiful. Many choices on the menu - makes it hard to decide!! If you like Indian food then Lounge India is a brilliant choice.

First visit and we were not disappointed, the food was excellent, the Peswari Naan was the best we had ever tasted. We could not fault any of the dishes that we had.

While on holiday we had dinner at Lounge India. The staff were friendly and we had nice conversation with them. The food was nice and spicy as we asked for spicy food. The nan was excellent but the vegetable paratha was not that good. Chilli paneer as starter was very good. Me, my wife and 8 year old son are staying at broadland sands holiday park and fancied somewhere different to eat we took a 10 minute drive into lowestoft and found this gem of a restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and piping hot and the portion sizes were just right. I normally eat a lamb curry in my local restaurant but I fancied trying something different so I asked the manager for a recommendation and what he recommended was far better. Where do i start with this place. was the worst 'indian' i have ever had, if you can call it that. Food was dreadful, no one in our party enjoyed their food. Tikka Marsala came BRIGHT red and just tasted of tomato sauce, korma was tasteless and food overall was very greasy. Naan was okay though XD took over hour and half to get food as well, avoid.

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant !!! My wife and I have been to many Indian restaurants and takeaways in England and nothing comes close to Lounge India curry’s cooked how they should taste if you like hot curry’s nowhere else comes close , it’s outstanding mains starters side all delicious, never had a bad meal , I do not understand people that write a bad review especially moaning about sometimes a slow service it’s the same in any restaurant when they are busy !! Food cooked fresh to perfection service is excellent and friendly, I would eat there every day if I could afford it it’s by far the best Indian food can’t praise it up enough !!!

DO NOT ORDER A TAKEAWAY VIA THEIR WEBSITE FOR DELIVERY. We’ve been waiting for two hours and twenty five minutes and counting and it’s not here. I’ve made three phone calls and every time we’ve been told it’s on its way when it’s clearly not. I was also told by the person who answered the phone that they were unable to refund me as they didn’t know how to.

We ordered a delivery to our place we were staying in. The driver even dropped it off at the place. We were expecting to go out and meet him at the reception. He was very friendly and the food tasted amazing. Roughly £15 a head for a starter, main, rice, naan, poppadoms and sauces. Great food would definitely order again.

The first weekend after the lockdown was eased to allow eating inside I wanted somewhere special to make up for the long wait and The Lounge India certainly came up trumps . There was a bit of a delay due to them being packed but it was worth the wait . We had 2 of the signature dishes which were both lovely . The service was well managed by a very capable team . Thank you for an amazing return to eating in !!

My partner and I always order take away from Lounge India but experienced the restaurant in full effect over the weekend. What a treat it was!! Had a Lounge India selection delivered this evening, absolutely top notch. Food was hot, tasty and full of flavour. Delivered on time, never had a bad meal from Lounge India yet, used many times. I would recommend you try it, you will not regret it.

Fantastic food, very professional and polite staff that can’t do enough for you. The restaurant and bar area are immaculately clean along with the bathroom, I would highly recommend either getting a takeaway or eating in you’ll not be disappointed.
