Crown Lounge in Waveney

Terrible service. Food was 25 minutes late. And they completely missed out the rice and Bombay aloo. I called up and they told me they’ll send it out in 20 minutes. I explained the rest of my food would be cold by the time they bought it but he hung up on me. Plus the food was actually disgusting, never in my life have I tasted Indian food that wasn’t nice. The rice was over cooked and the chicken didn’t even taste like chicken. Bombay potatos were nasty

Ordered on Just Eat, 40mins late, tasteless and bloody chicken. Will not be ordering again, my dog eat better than me today.

Disappointing. Food average, bar full of alcohol but couldn’t buy any. Not even water, only Cobra beer on offer. Wine glasses on the table., to add insult. Nice furniture. Toilets, no toilet paper, or hand towels. Husband reported it, nothing done about it whilst we were there. Won’t be coming back

This restaurant is not worth any food serving. Food quality was very bad and customer service was very poor. Our orders had been mixed up and we were uninformed of this prior to our order being served to the table. I wouldn’t recommend this recommend at all. Think twice before ordering or booking a table with them!!!!

Perfect evening meal out, the quality of the food was incredible! Very friend and professional staff was surprised to see it as empty as it was. People you are missing a trick. The crown lounge is a hidden gem, a must visit and a must to be sampled

Ordered chicken nuggets for £4.95 expecting chicken nuggets and chips as do all restaurant serve. What turned up was 5 chicken nuggets only. Rang to question this and was told it is correct. What a rip off! 5 chicken nuggets for £4.95! Mcdonalds would of been cheaper and at least they would serve with chips. (Did not just order nuggets, ordered full meal for family of 5)

We tried Crown Lounge for a Saturday night takeaway - booking online - The delivery took around an hour, not bad for a Saturday but much longer than the 25 minutes indicated on the ordering website. The food was tasty. I had a chicken tikka jalfrezi which was tasty, and the chilli rice was wonderful. My wife ordered coconut rice and Mango Delight, however her main dish was disappointing as it was missing all the garnish (it is described as being topped with mango, almond and cashew nuts, but these were missing - it was just chicken in a fruity sauce) - so a big let down and certainly not a 'delight'. The cheese naan we ordered was very cheesy and tasty. Overall a mixed experience...my meal was good but my wife was disappointed by all the garnish being missed from her dish (I assume they just forgot to add them). It was quite expensive compared to similar restaurants in town, and despite the 20% online discount I don't think we will return. A shame...as the chilli rice was wonderful.

WORST Indian I’ve ever had , greasy , paid for poppadoms but weren’t in the bag and as for My chicken madras there was no spice or hotness at all in the slightest , saaghaloo tasted awful and was like slop . Will never go back and won’t advise anybody to either . A complete waste of money .

I'm not a spicy person so always go for mild curries and side dishes .. had a delivery and was so hot and spicy couldn't eat it was so disappointed .. I've ordered from them in past and been v good

We went there for dinner after having been before and enjoyed. The food once again was delicious but they have recently changed their policy and do not serve wine anymore. We were informed by the manager that this will be the case going forward. They will only sell beer and soft drinks. The toilets whilst nicely decorated needed a good clean and the restaurant need to supply paper towels or some such to dry your hands after washing. The young lady who served us was very pleasant. We did have to wait a whole for our food despite only one other table of 2 in the restaurant. We will visit again as o say the food is delicious

It was a great night out with friends , we all been well looked after , can’t thank enough. We will be back again , it just fabulous

Ordered for me and my son to have a takeaway meal together, the food was the worst Indian I've ever had. The onion bargee was dry and the mint sauce was the stuff you get out of a bottle. The dansak was sloppy no sweet and sour and my god the salt . Did not eat a bloody thing what a joke do not waste your money. Oh and by the way these are flooging a cheap 20 % off if you ordered avoid, avoid nasty . Customer service though from just eat dreadful

All people booked in Crown Lounge Lowestoft we've had a really good Indian food . excellent service and compliment drinks. we definitely come back again. highly recommend

Based on good feedback on Facebook and a desire to visit. Our visit was over the Easter weekend. On arrival we were welcomed, after a slight delay our drinks order was taken and duly arrived. Food ordered and arrived in a timely manner. The menu is comprehensive and plenty of dishes we’d never heard of….. All in all a good night. It’s is a welcome addition to the already good ‘Indians’ we have here in Lowestoft. Keep up the good work and you’ll go from strength to strength!
