I have just moved to the area and thought I'd check out the local curry place. Very prompt service. I ordered Chicken bhuna, peschwari nan and pilau rice! It was all so tasty!! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

The Monsoon restaurant (Rochford) is consistently the best Indian in Essex for me and my extended family. Not only is the food outstanding the cost too is minimal in my humble opinion. 5*

Ordered food tonight no delivery and they won’t answer phone have taken my money. I even drove there but you cannot access shop as in an arcade. I noticed there is another review tonight with exactly the same complaint

Waited over an hour for food turned up cold. Ordered garlic naan received a plain naan. Would have been nice if hot! Wont order again.

We Called after waiting 45 mins for food and told it would be cooked and delivered in 15 mins, they had forgotten our order, it was delivered but sadly realised it was luke warm/cold when it was delivered! Such a shame that a restaurant that used to serve and deliver gorgeous food has gone downhill so much, this was our regular however after a bad experience at the restaurant early last year we gave them another chance and still had a rubbish experience! They did give a refund, however not without an argument. Debbie the delivery driver is amazing and absolutely no argument with her, our issue is bad service from start to finish, cold food and lack of customer service, our experience from start to finish was awful, even ordering the food was hard work! When we called to ask how long it would be they didn't even know our address! Sadly had to use another local delivery service tonight 😪

Visited as a table of 6. Was asked to pay a £60 deposit on booking. When arrived table was not ready, was sent away and asked to Come back. Nearly an hour later we got our table. Table was badly positioned (obviously trying to get as many people in as possible), 1 person on our table was asked to get up multiple times so that the waiters could come past with the serving trolly. We ordered mains only and finally got them at 10.05pm (nearly 2 hours after Our original booking time) Food was nice, but service was very poor. No complimentary drinks were offered for inconvenience. Would be hesitant to book again.

Very polite and informative on the phone and the delivery excellent too. The food AMAZING.... Only found this resturant because of the lock down.

I phoned an order through and collected my order, changed and added things in as requested this was no trouble at all. Very welcoming on arrival to collect all staff I came across said hello and asked how I was. Amazing food as always, I'm a regular here. Always add and change things when asked, nothing is never to much trouble for them. They go above and beyond when eating in. Always feel welcome, music playing, amazing service and always talk and check everything is OK. All staff are polite and are around if anything is needed. Best Indian takeaway and restaurant by far I would never go anywhere else. Can't wait to go tomorrow night with the girls for my birthday. - phoned last week to pre book a table for 10 and this was no problem or trouble at all.

It wasn’t very warm and a lot of water! The food okay once we bailed out the water. We ate it but wouldn’t return unfortunately.
