The best restaurants serving Indian food in Mansfield East Midlands

Really disappointed tonight always order from here but literally all the food had no flavour or seasoning don’t know if it was a different chef or just too busy but all curries lacked the usual top quality flavour they usually do!!! What a shame

worst indian we have ever had delivered. No flavour, lamb really fatty ended up putting it all in the bin apart from the starter. Love curry but wont be getting it from here again. £35 wasted

Overpriced and Underwhelming Delivery We ordered delivery and were left seriously disappointed. We paid £55 for two curries, two sides, two breads, papadoms, and rice — and honestly, the quality did not justify the price. The curries and sides were just okay, nothing memorable — about 3 stars at best. The bread was especially poor: dry, tough, and lacking any real flavor. Even the papadoms were bland. For a £55 meal, we expected something far better. Overall, the food felt more like takeaway quality at fine-dining prices. Wouldn’t order again or recommend.

Was really good food and our waiter Mukith was outstanding.

Generally really good place, very much enjoyed the food, really nice place, great interior and atmosphere, only negative with this place was the service, was a little slow but overall I enjoyed this place and would go again.

Now Spice Cottage, I ate on Friday with a friend and it was truly delicious. My mate ordered phall which isn’t even on the menu, I had a chef’s special that I hadn’t heard of before and after being told it was quite spicy they turned down the temperature to a bit below madras which the waiter suggested to me. Starters were ace too, bread and rice tip top. Also the wine was cheap because you take your own!

Poor customer service, filthy and treat their staff unfairly. Pay £4.50 a hour if in a good mood, calls them names, threaten their friends and family and then sacks them with no warning or explanation or pay. Feel sorry for their staff :( #neveragain

My favourite curry house top food on time always warm and very tasty

Always love this restaurant celebrated our wedding anniversary here had Xmas day here so coming back now was as fab the minute you walk in a smile and lovely greeting from all the staff DJ playing lovely back ground music which is a bonus the food was gorgeous lamb madras for me my wife had chicken tikka bhuna/balti keema rice and garlic and keema nan bread. special mention for our waiter Jay absolutely brilliant explained everything and a great personality all the staff as well was brilliant waterlily is a must especially Saturday's with the DJ playing nice chilled background music

Food cold, order wrong. Really gone down hill this place. Don't think I will be ordering again.

My advise to any one contemplating using this establishment is don't ,total arrogant staff, was told no doner meat available , when it was clearly visible on the spit. Hope this place closes soon
