The best restaurants serving Indian food in Gedling East Midlands

Our meal was a takeaway, it was fabulous, good quality food, all very very tasty …From the complementary popadoms, chutneys and yoghurt to the main of chicken Ghurkali, plus sides of Channa, 2 samosas and liberally sprinkled coriander /garlic naan…yum yum. 10 out of 10 and all very reasonably priced. Food hot, meat plentiful and so tasty as always!

Food was ok but pricing was far too high for what was on offer. Went as part of a large group booking of approx 25 people and all commented that it was poor value for money and would not return.

Slightly later than expected but the food was amazing and portion sizes huge! Was lovely thank you 😊

Ordered a mail at Rai Saab for the first time and had a lamb korma. Delivered very swiftly and was piping Hot. There was ample amounts of lamb of which was very tender. The rice was well prepared. I was very satisfied with this meal and would use Rai Saab again thank you.

Not been since pre covid, a lovely evening, food fabulous and very friendly people, certainly won’t be as long next time, well worth a visit

Donna kebab is really tasty. Cheese burger meal is so nice. Best kebab in Notts. All staff are very friendly very fast service too. Great prices!

Was given an estimate of time for delivery, no updates then all boxes ticked and said delivered at 18:35 which was when it was scheduled. 1 call and a text and it arrived cold at 19:10. The food was not only cold but actually pretty bland. 2nd attempt at ordering from here, last time was cancelled after order acceptance by the restaurant, for no reason.

Stopped by on the way home after a night out in town. Lovely that it was open after 11pm. I had chips and cheese on naan with salad and mayo. Absolutely delicious!!

the best curry around, but maybe the rice is different. No longer Basmatti? Is that right?
