The best restaurants serving Indian food in Gedling East Midlands

I was looking at booking this venue for Christmas Day but unfortunately we did not have a good meal. Illness prevailed and I was very disappointed. Also, we were overcharged. This was put right, but it wasn't dealt with well. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I have to be honest. Hopefully, I was just unlucky as the restaurant comes highly recommended.

We have been going here for a few years, normally pretty good but the standards are slipping. The last few times the sweet rice The pineapple was mushy and it was very watery. Tonight the chicken tikka madras was full of gristle and the wife's lamb was ridiculously chewy. Very disappointed, we won't be back.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Caters for gluten-free requirements with plenty of choice. Highly recommend

Ordered a mail at Rai Saab for the first time and had a lamb korma. Delivered very swiftly and was piping Hot. There was ample amounts of lamb of which was very tender. The rice was well prepared. I was very satisfied with this meal and would use Rai Saab again thank you.

Went last night as a party of four. A couple of us had been before but for me and one other it was our first experience. I can't fault it. So friendly and the food was nothing sort of amazing and very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again. Well done all

The food from here is just perfect, honestly. The prices are spot on, and the quality of food is second to none. I've tried just about every curry they offer, and they're all lovely! Proper onion bhajis as well. Fast delivery and great service. My only faults with this place are that I wish they would a strip of keema meat in the keema naan and not have the meat sort of brushed onto it and also that the phaal curry was a bit hotter, but obviously they're just personal preferences. Ordered food tonight, missing items, rang up and was given attitude, saying they were too busy and weren't going to do anything about it. Won't ever order from there again
