Absolutely love Zaika. Yes the food tastes beautiful every time, but it’s the staff that make it for me. When you order they’re always happy and polite, food is delivered quickly. And the lovely man who delivers it, he’s so friendly! What a team, our favourite curry!!

Takeaway service is good and I’ve never had a bad meal from there !

The meat was cheap processed and quite rank. The sauce tasted like a cheap out of the jar sauce and the rice was tasteless. I recieved a burnt nan bread and a broken soggy poppadom with no sauces. I could of cooked a better meal for less than £5 with cheap ingredients for aldi

Just had another take away from your amazing restaurant the prawn starter was out of this world, will certainly have again. You never fail with quality, quantity and amazing service. I was sad to hear from Raj the owner that due to personal circumstances he had to be away from the business more than he wanted , earlier this year but was in the more than capable hands of his son . One day whilst Raj was away. His son had to have a day off. This particular day they were visited by environmental health . Raj and his son have access to the paper work. Because of this the very nasty jobs worth of an inspector down graded him very harshly, she could have said let me have the paperwork tomorrow but no she wanted to get a star. Very rude person. I urge everyone to write reviews of their experiences please. To help a man who has traded in Chesterfield for the past 28 years. The food is always fantastic and the guys always look after us. Chefs special Sashlik is fantastic.

This was our first time at this restaurant. It was chosen because of previous reviews and a location suitable for everyone. First impressions were good as the restaurant was warm and clean. We booked for 7 pm so quite early. The owner made us welcome and the waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The menu was varied but we ordered our usual meal ..very predictable but it arrived and we were very pleased. The pickle tray was well presented and we proceeded to the starter and main meal. By then the restaurant began to fill up and I noticed a steady stream of takeaway meals leaving. The restaurant is upstairs so some people with disabilities may find it challenging. I’m pleased to say the toilets were very clean and the hand dryer was working well. The restaurant has a 5 star hygiene rating. The prices and menu can be viewed online and seemed fair with no hidden charges. A good night was had by all.

Few things with my order, ordered 2 pickle trays, only the sauces came. The tika was like water, the mango chutney was like mango squash. Absolutely no chance will I order from here again.

God knows why this has 3/5 star review. It is by far the best ‘takeaway’ in chesterfield. That includes other styles of cuisine. (Mondays can be iffy tho)

First and LAST time having food from here. Ordered chicken korma and egg rice. Korma is meant to be coconut, where was the coconut, tasted absolutely vile. Egg rice no better!

What an absolute joke of a place! The delivery Guy couldnt be arsed to get out his car and bring the food to our flat door when I have a child in bed and can hardly leave him in bed when he is just over 1 years old!!! And I spent iver £37 on an order! Avoid these at all costs !
