Tiffin in Chesterfield

Always lovely food, not had a bad dish yet and also very helpful when ordering in making sure the dishes I order are suitable for my dietary needs. Staff are always polite.

We enjoyed the Sunday mega deal and was so impressed. The quality and taste of all the dishes was outstanding. Their Bhuna is the best I have had. All the little touches like mini salad bags and amazing naan, all at a fantastic price. Who needs a Sunday roast when you can have Tiffin!!!!

Ordered on Uber Eats. Fast delivery. Food had NO flavour, no spice, garlic naan no garlic. Coconut rice oh so sweet. Butter Chicken, korma and lamb tikki masala sauces all VERY sweet. Meat dry and very few pieces. There was even pineapple in one! Food 1/10 Disappointment 10/10

Have been very good. But this time not so. Something has changed. Both meals were not as good as previous ones. Will try somewhere different next time.

Few things with my order, ordered 2 pickle trays, only the sauces came. The tika was like water, the mango chutney was like mango squash. Absolutely no chance will I order from here again.

Short change 2 poppadoms at nearly a pound each. The most terrible pickle tray I have ever had. Curry and rice was good but will stick to elsewhere

Popadoms soft, salad like rubber, mixed kebab tiny the main wasn’t bad but overpriced, the chipati was ok as was the rice but not brillian. Wont be ordering again from there.

The quality and standard of the food never changes. It is consistently excellent. The staff are always cheerful and happy to help. What’s not to love?

food was warm, got 5 kingprawns, chips was hard & the poppadoms was over cooked. I don't drive but when I have a curry from town with my dad he fetches it and it's still hot when we get home. felt like it had been cooked and stood on side for half an hour. won't be using a delivery again from here. will stick to clay cross tandoori, I get 9 king prawns there.

We were looking forward to a nice Indian after reading the reviews - how wrong were we! Stale popadoms, curdled pickle tray, poor mixed kebab and tasteless OB. Both the Korma and Jalfrezi were abysmal - lacking taste and the meat was very dry. Quite possibly the worst in the area! Delivery was very late (driver crashed apparently) - new driver was very nice and apologetic though!The restaurant did keep us informed, so for customer service 9/10, food 3/10 at best. Maybe we just got an off day?!

Came down from London to chesterfield and went to get some food from this take away and was treated very nicely and the brothers were very kind and friendly and made us some absolutely wonderful food and gave us amazing service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the chesterfield area and if I’m ever nearby or passing through I will be sure to visit them again. Big thanks to brother Salman for the food.

Ordered from here last night and I’m certain the tikka masala was frozen as when I got to the bottom the sauce was more like water, the chicken didn’t taste right. The meat in the other curry wasn’t right either as the texture and taste was abysmal and I ended up spending the entire night with stomach pain. Won’t be ordering from here again after paying almost £30 to be poisoned. Never expected this from Tiffin chesterfield.

My partners family sings praises of tiffins, decided to have it with my partner, Korma is just like yellow water with minimal taste and the lamb doesn't taste properly cooked, meat samosas and mixed bhaji were incredible which definitely helped make up a bit for the horrific mains. If those starters were no good I'd have settled on the 1 star

I will write an honest review. I had a rogan josh - bland, very little spice. Very disappointing. My partner described it as a shop bought pasta sauce. I ordered onion Baha’i - undercooked, soggy and cold. Naan bread was surprisingly nice, warm and just how you would expect. Pickle tray - well not much anyone can say about that - it’s a pickle tray! Personally I would avoid. Plenty of lovely Indian restaurants who do beautiful food for the same price. This isn’t one of them

Great place with a wonderful atmosphere

Naan bread???? It was thinner than if a steam roller went over it. Ordered one garlic naan and a plain naan. Both had no taste whatsoever. The chicken with both meals was not only cold but tough and stringy. I have ordered from here 8 or more times in the past and this was terrible. I will unfortunately not be ordering from any tiffen again

Progressively worse every time and that’s enough! I will not order from here again! Inedible food, and an insult to food in general.

Ordered a meal worth over £30 for delivery at 7:45pm and whilst at work received a call at 6:15pm from the delivery driver outside the house. Contacted the restaurant and was assured the food would be cooked again for delivery but sadly when it was re-delivered it was cold and Luke warm and clearly was not fresh. It had to be microwaved to make it edible. Sadly never again

Been a long term customer of this place, but recently they have started reducing portion sizes without increasing prices. This £8.25 Chicken Tikka dish ordered tonight is even more of a joke. Will be trying a different takeaway next time.

We all enjoyed the food but a little disappointed with the so called pickle tray has we only got 1 pot of mint yogurt.

Used Tiffins a few times now and always good. I collect to guarantee it’s still hot and the staff are really friendly. Plenty of flavour and usually enough meat.

It was ok nothing special , a bit too careful with the spices, forgot the chilli in the madras forgot the garlic in the nan, forgot to thicken the madras sauce etc. maybe a 4/10.

Fancied something different from the usual spicy stuff I love. so tried the Punjabi Egg Curry. It was fabulous although to be fair I did empty my Chicken Tikka starter into it. Also tried the spicy chips (fries) for a change. All around a perfect meal. Thanks and keep up the good work. Best takeaway in Chezzy!!

Not up to the usual standard I’d expect from Tiffin. Size of food seems to have decreased too whilst price has gone up. Food was relatively okay, but was disappointing for price paid.

By far the best Indian I’ve ordered from in Chesterfield. Always top quality service when collecting, and always prompt when delivering. Never had a problem👍🏼

Bhajis were overcooked and came without salad, onion or mint sauce. Although the sauces of the curries were tasty the meat was dry, tough and overcooked. There was no garlic on our garlic naan, it was also cold and 'flabby'. Overall, a very disappointing meal as we have enjoyed many meals from here in the past

Awful, My order was butter chicken and naan, first things first, the naan was not enough to feed 1 person, Secondly the butter chicken was way to creamy and tasted like honey chicken. The color of it was a peach type color, butter chicken is supposed to be Orange!!!!🤮🤮this literally made me sick and want made me throw up. Worst experience ever!! You guys have the audacity to call this "Chef's Special Butter Chicken." Chef's Special? Are you being serious? Yeah, Totally Chef's Special Butter Chicken 😂. I think the Chef must have forgot his tomatoes. Chef also forgot he was making naan and made eraser made of rubber. This so called "Chef" is making eraser and peach color chicken.

Ordered for 9:30pm, came at 9:25pm. Food was lukewarm but not unpleasant. It was standard fare but didn’t fill me with joy. The naan was very small. I would probably order again but try a traditional dish to compare with other takeaways.

Food is always good from here, but it took close to 2 hours to receive my food. Then when it did arrive it had missing items and when I reported it to Just Eat, they responded to say they had looked at all the available info and there was nothing they could do. No refund. So, won’t be ordering again.

Delivered on time but the food is shocking. Both Naan breads are cold and chewy like they've been cooked and reheated, onion bhaji overcooked and hard, and the spicy chips are neither spicy nor chips, they're frozen fries with a pitiful sprinkle of chilli powder. The only half decent thing is the butter chicken but let down as its only lukewarm. Half of it has gone in the bin. Won't be ordering again.

The sauce was full of coconut, the chicken was like it was from a packet, 25 mins late, the naan was the size of a saucer and was £4.......it was shocking! And cold too.....I will definitely never order from this place again!!!!

The best Indian 'Takeaway' in Town. Consistent quality and service in my experience. Better than many of the restaurant takeaways. I've recommended Tiffin to several friends and they also rate them and continue to use them.

nice mains & rice, which were spicy and full of flavour. Tarka dhal was watery imho - more like a spicy lentil soup. The breads would benefit from being packed in a different way - the plastic bags made them wet and stodgy. All that said, a very enjoyable take away

This has to be the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Fresh and piping hot. The staff are wonderful. The lady that delivered it was friendly & chatty. The chef (an extremely talented man) was really pleasant & helpful and Sal (the manager I think) went above & beyond to help us. To get excellent food & fantastic service is rare these days. If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet you don’t know what you’re missing. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Tiffin

Excellent food, best Indian I have had in years!

The most bizarre take away experience. The driver argued that he had already delivered it to us and a 25 year old man opened the door took the food? There was only my wife and I at home (no ghosts live with us). We also offered to provide CCTV footage. Clearly delivered to the wrong address but wouldn't just admit it. We didn't want to eat the food when it finally arrived because 1/It was almost 11pm and 2/Worried about the contents since the driver argued. A very odd night...

Food was freezing, and mango chutney tastes like vinegar wasn't nice at all. Said food was on its way, then took 30 min. I live 10 min away

Quality of food was good. The portions were smaller than expected, and more expensive than my usual supplier.

Horrible. Peshwari Naan tasted of soap and the rest was not much better.
