New Eastern Tandoori in Chesterfield

1st and last time ordering from here. Ordered 4 different dishes and they were all pretty much the same taste and colour...Couldn't differentiate between them. Butter chicken was nothing like. The sauce in all the dishes was very salty, oily and basically horrible...like sauce from a jar. Couldn't even find any meat in them. Only decent thing was the poppadoms. Very disappointed. Most of it went in the bin. Quite pricey too...I don't mind paying if the food is good, but this unfortunately wasn't

First and LAST time having food from here. Ordered chicken korma and egg rice. Korma is meant to be coconut, where was the coconut, tasted absolutely vile. Egg rice no better!

Ordered for the first time on just eat. I got butter chicken, onion bahji starter and a garlic cheese naan. This is some of the best food I have ever eaten, and the best food I have ever eaten in my local area. Portions are great, had to save half for later. Will certainly be eating from here again.

Ordered takeaway from here today, food arrived fast and was very tasty but 20-30 minutes after I finished my meal I was very unwell. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered my food at 18.57, received an email to say my food would be ready at 20.00. Waited until 20.23 until I rang, only to be received by a very rude individual on the other end, wouldn’t let me get a word in. Told me my food would be delivered in 25-30 minutes. At this point I did not want to eat a curry at 9pm so I rang them again asking them if they could cancel because I didn’t want to eat a curry so late. Only to be met with the same rudeness. I had to speak to customer service on deliveroo to ensure I got a refund but even this process was not easy and now I’m going to bed without food- night ruined. Thanks 👌🏼

Ordered from here a few times now and it's been amazing every time. Yes it's dearer than some other places but it's worth every single penny. Food has been fresh and hot every time. Not a single complaint. My new favourite takeaway. Keep up the good work 👏 will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday - pleasantly surprised. Tasty food, good portions, and quick delivery - only 35mins on a Friday night. Good value too: £30 for the two of us, but really it would have fed three...! Will certainly be back.

Just ordered and literally the price has nearly doubled in the last 6 months. Love the food but £72 for 3 main meals, 5 nann breads, 2 pickle trays, onion bhai, 1 pilau rice and 2 portions of chips as a takeaway so not paying for any service is very expensive. Shame as the food is very tasty but most places are nery half the price, so will be shopping round next time.

Food came late and cold, food was mediocre. And to top it off, had my wall scratched by delivery driver. Appalling

Orders on uber eats and they cancelled it. No explanation and won’t answer the phone.

The food was delivered hot and quickly and the side dishes are tasty and as expected. However, the main courses (we ordered three different dishes) were all in exactly the same ‘Dolmio style italian tomato sauce’ but with varying degrees of chilli heat. Overall it wasn’t unpleasant but it wasn’t an indian curry and we won’t be ordering again.

Just ordered our first take away from New Eastern Tandoori. Very very disappointing ! Lamb Madras was a few small pieces of lamb swimming in a chilli tomatoe sauce, everything else was dry and tasteless. We won’t be buying from this place again.

We ordered it to try, was good but to justify the price to the food we won't go again. Reasons are this, I know it's not been open for long and I think prices have gone up to the expensive area. Got price off the menu and didn't match plus we are in the 12 pounds over under 3 miles area. The curry was to tomato(tangy) and coudnt taste rest of the spices. Meat was spot on to be honest. Amount was decent. I don't like place putting jargon on there menus either rice is one dish! Not side or main. Then we ordered a side rice and didn't get it. Or say this or that. Especially dishes reaching ten pounds!! I want that in a sit down restaurant thank you!! The price put us off and the tomatoes and missing are dish. They ram louds of onions etc in there dishes... Hard to find one with just sauce in yet. Cons (price, to tangy, dishes missing seems a normal takeaway to me nothing special. No insentives when spending £30 on three people no starters some sides and mains only. Pros (meat decent, veg rice more flavered then curry. Quick to deliver.

Delivery made exactly to the minute required and the food was excellent. It was my second time ordering from them & I will definitely be ordering again.

It's our first time here. I tried an in line order but the salad no salad option for biryani didn't work. Phoned an order through and my Scottish accent was well understood. All the dishes were well done and tasted fresh. The tarka Dall was interestingly different. Starters were outstanding. My sauce on the lamb methi tasted a little burnt at first but the lamb was tender. We'll be back.

We have thoughly enjoyed the meals we have ordered & received promptly from New Eastern, fantastic food, thank you, Barker Lane.

We are so pleased this place has reopened,missed it so much.the food was good before,but in my honest opinion its even better now and the staff so pleasant and would highly recommend New Eastern at Brampton therefore i'm giving them a 5 star rating.well done guy's..............

The food and prices are excellent, but sometimes the premises are not open as advertised and the delivery service can be very poor in terms of waiting for meals to arrive.

Food was very disappointing. Looked okay but was bland. The Keema Nan was the best thing about the entire meal, however, it left our fingers bright yellow that took two days to get rid of.

Order was 20 minutes late, no apology, food looked bland and without sauce, however looked better than it tasted. Chicken dry, sag tasteless and watery, had to brush teeth after eating a bit off the naan, rice apparently boil in the bag. Ate very little, off to get some chips, will not use this take away again

Best, best tandoori chicken kebab in Chesterfield! Nice fresh Nan with good amount of tandoori chicken & chilli/garlic sauces! Would highly recommend this dish. Worth the wait even if it was 15-20 mins late

My dinner was awful, I had the chicken korma. seriously only flavour is too much salt. Will not be ordering from here again. My fiancé's dinner is ok, he says but we can safely say we will not be ordering here again!

Pedimos un entrante y plato principal cada uno para cuatro personas. El motor de arranque se supone que era una carne kebab. La carne era horrible y creo que había sido calentado desde hace semanas que estaba tan mal. El plato principal era incluso peor. Yo pedí un Pollo Tikka de Madrás. El pollo no era carne de mama y era difícil y muy duro. También era increíblemente caliente y no podía comer. Mi plato hijas también era horrible y era increíblemente agradable que te esperas de un Jalfrezi. No pedir desde aquí.

Creí que escribe teniendo en cuenta las críticas anteriormente. última noche pedimos comida para llevar por primera vez, a sólo un par de curry y unos pocos panes, panes Nan y me quedé agradablemente sorprendido por la calidad y el sabor. Bien hecho. Puedo tomar las especias y me sentí, aunque uno de los curries no era especialmente clasificado como estar caliente, era y lo disfruté mucho. Puede que otros desean tener esto en cuenta si pidiendo en el futuro. Estaba listo en 25 minutos ya que nos dijeron que iba a ser así. Muchas gracias.

Solicitar por teléfono a tener un parto. Aún no he comido aquí antes, pero me encantó cuando llegó. Comí pollo Jalfrezi y un queso Nan de ajo, mi pareja tuvo pollo Tikka Massala, Pilau Rice y mismo Nan. Ambos eran muy sabroso y no podríamos't ninguna queja. Lo pasamos muy bien y sin duda con ellos de nuevo. La entrega era bueno también llegó a unos 35 minutos y el precio de 15,90 libras por todo era una gran relación calidad-precio.

Tried New Eastern Tandori for the first time tonight, apart from the madras being FAR too hot, and we normally love a hot curry....all the food was beautiful, unfortunately had to leave half the curry as couldn't take it! Lol

Ordered from here twice and was absolutely 100% satisfied both times! Delivery is super speedy and the food tastes beautiful, one of the best Indians in Chesterfield. Not got a bad word to say about this place!

We had a takaway delivered, both our dishes had only 5 bits of chicken in, my girlfriends even left the chicken in the korma because it didn't taste right. My madras was the worst I have ever had anywhere, didn't taste or look like any madras I've had before and I've had many, ridiculously hot overpowering any flavour to point of being inedible, I managed to eat half it before giving up, I am a fan of spicy food and have a good tolerance to it but it was just way too hot with no flavour.All in all very disappointed and will avoid in the future.

Recently ordered food from here we went to collect it only to find once we got home there was food missing from our order... We phoned them and they took our details and promised to deliver missing food they never did, terrible customer service will not be going back, make sure you check Your order bacause you might not get what you've paid for.

I've never ordered from here before but I will from now on. The delivery driver was so polite and the food was fantastic. One of the best Indians I've had recently.

Probably every week we order a takeaway from them and so far have had no problems. On the phone they always estimate a 45 minute wait, but very rarely has it taken that long! On one occasion it only took 15 minutes! Food is beautiful, there's loads of it, and is so cheap, about £12 for 2 people to get 2 mains and 3 sides. Spot on!

Good Indian food tried a few different meals and never been disappointed recommend the Pathia and cheese naan always quick and fresh never had any problems when ordering been using this takeaway for a few years highly recommend.

Just had the worst ever take away inedible! !! Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money. Birthday take away ruined, disgustingly they just laughed when we phoned to complain. Will never order from there again!
