The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

I ordered chicken and paneer chilli as starters, I am sorry to say it was not at all worth. They just tossed chicken and paneer cubes in sweet chilli sauce, such a waste of money and time. Will not recommend this for starters at least.

It was a wonderful experience. The ambience is beautiful. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Sumi was a great help. My friends enjoyed the afternoon thoroughly.

The food was great apart from the onion bhajis which were way over cooked for the 2nd time of ordering and the mint sauce was watery and tasteless. I will be ordering again from here but this needs to be looked at.

Sent Tikka masala starter instead of main so we were a curry short per person food was ok as in quality.

The order was placed at 4.15 pm for delivery at 5.15 pm . The food was supposed to be for iftar - to break my fast . The food arrived at 6.45 pm - One and a half hours late . I had already eaten by then . I want a full refund of my order please

Eating in is always brilliant, great choice of dishes you generally wouldn't find anywhere else. We got a takeaway tonight and we shared their tandoori mixed grill, hands down the best tandoori/chicken tikka I've ever tried. The chicken tikka masala was far too sweet for my liking though, however that may just be personal preference. Still one of best Indian restaurants in the area

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. We went and were told (very rudely) that we can not eat there at all with an allergy. My 10 year old daughter was made to feel like she had done something wrong because she had a allergy.

Keema naan was really stodgy, the curry we left because it was quite tasteless, I understand it’s a basic curry mix, I will make my own next time and save £17. We have used punjabs for many years.

Had another lovely take away last night from the Tandoori Cottage . The food was perfectly cooked, arrived on time and was nice and hot.

Decidí llevar a mi familia a celebrar dos cumpleaños y la mayoría son vegetarianos y pensé que estarían contentos con la elección. Ellos eran absolutamente les encantó. Tuvimos dos comedores de carne y disfrutaron de su comida también. El servicio fue excelente y compraron un helado especial de la India con una vela como sorpresa. La elección vegetariana es masiva y nos guiaron en cuanto a cantidad se refiere y fue perfecto. ¡Todos quieren ir de nuevo! La factura era muy justa, pero solo los hombres estaban bebiendo cerveza y el resto estaban en el agua.

Have been looking forward to finally going to experience Mowglis. Unfortunately was disappointed overall. Restaurant decor and aesthetic is good, very charming that's almost where the good stuff ends. We opted for the £25 sharing offering. The chat bombs were undeniable good, credit where credits due. Sadly everything else was lacking. Gun powder chicken was Luke warm and as for calling it gunpowder...well the gunpowder was damp today ! Mildly spiced boarding bland. The other curries which you accept will be chosen for you were all chicken. The chicken in both curries were cooked to death. To cook chicken thighs to that point takes some doing. The sauces on both were ok but immediately forgettable. Rice...bland no flavour ! Roti breads ok. Chick peas fairly pleasant but nothing to get wild about. Food arrived prompt but everything else service wise was slow and clumsy. Such a shame really. Could be great but not today

La comida perfecta siempre ha estado aquí y siempre me impresiona. Y tiene buena comida ardiente. Debería intentarlo y es muy agradable. Nunca te defraudará y la gente amable es dueña y siempre te trata bien.

We had a wonderful meal here following the funeral of my lovely mum. It was one of her favourite places to eat and we felt it was a fitting tribute for the three of us to remember her. The staff were amazing and the food incredible, catering to our individual tastes. Thank you.

All the staff was kind, especially Ali who was helpful. The food was savoury.
