The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Distinctly average takeaway. We were disappointed. Curries didn't really taste of anything. Meat was chewy. Mint sauce very watery. Time for delivery and the rice was OK.

Not been since before Covid and the rebranding from the Cumin (now Royal Indian Restaurant). So wanted to go back with the family and to celebrate belated birthday with them. Place is excellent. Has been redecorated inside so looking nice, the food was excellent and the staff are very friendly, professional and polite. So had a lovely evening meal out. I'd recommend this restaurant to eat in or as a takeaway and will be going again.

Staff very friendly Food, great menu and food absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. A group of 4 arrived next to our table half way through the meal. Two in particular, they were very loud, came over drunk and their language was offensive and inappropriate. Really at 7pm 🫣 Given it seemed a badge of honour to them who many places they had been thrown out around the world, I didn’t ask them to tone it down, we simply finished our meal and left.

AVOID!!!! It took 3 hours to arrive and half of the order was missing. Spent £32 on bad quality food. Iceland food is better

The staff are lovely They give good recommendations. Very nice to my autistic son the food is wonderfully I've been many times never had a bad meal .we love the Thursday night £12.99 .special menue

Absolutely stunning food , everything from the poppadoms to our main meal was simply outstanding and the staff were so lovely. Would definitely go again and without a doubt recommend to all x x x x x

I recently ordered from this restaurant, and it was a total letdown. I couldn't even finish it; it was a culinary disaster. Definitely not worth the money! I ordered keema naan, and it was uncooked. The balti chicken had huge pieces of onion, like they were served to animals. It was really disappointing!

Go here regularly for a mixed kebab with king nan , a belly buster not for the faint hearted, lovely taste, good price and very satisfying.

Hay muchos restaurantes indios excelentes en el barrio.

My partner and I ordered a delivery takeaway from here 17th December 2023 (for my birthday) ordered through their website and an hour and a half later still no food so we phoned them and a guy answered and told us they were permanently closed. We didn't get a refund either so would highly recommend avoiding this place

A good experience, nobody missed the meat! Great for a sharing meal with friends. Lots of choice. Lots of locals returning

Me and my ''WHOLE'' Family enjoyed a nice and relaxing Indian at Momtaj, First of is that somehow they had enough Space to fit all 24 of us in whilst not being squashed, My starter was sooo good that I had to order seconds!, The meal that I had was delicious it was the ''Railway lamb curry'', ''The whole meal was to a breathtaking experience.'' Bombaywalla - basic street food kitchen, but don't let this put you off! Food was lovely, we had the fixed 2-course menu (from a Groupon voucher), and we were able to BYOB. That made for a great deal all round. Very friendly lady who appeared to be very busy with cooking, serving & phone orders. The fact that the phone was constantly ringing, and the Just-Eat boys were in and out, tells you that we're not the only ones who rate the value for money served by this particular Bombaywalla!
