Bombaywalla in Glasgow City

Bombaywalla - basic street food kitchen, but don't let this put you off! Food was lovely, we had the fixed 2-course menu (from a Groupon voucher), and we were able to BYOB. That made for a great deal all round. Very friendly lady who appeared to be very busy with cooking, serving & phone orders. The fact that the phone was constantly ringing, and the Just-Eat boys were in and out, tells you that we're not the only ones who rate the value for money served by this particular Bombaywalla!

Very basic cafe, drab decor, no atmosphere, food was very averagel, very poor presentation, plastic glasses, ugh……. and both dishes tasted the same. We were the only couple in there (says it all) I doubt if we’d go back !

Basement Indian street food restaurant at the top of West Regent Street, Glasgow. Rustic no frills surroundings with a BYOB policy and free corkage. Food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and full of flavour. Service was efficient and friendly. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Lopend door high rise Glasgow kom je ineens bij een verborgen pareltje waar je je waant in India. Wees nieuwsgierig en treedt de trap af naar Bombaywallah waar Thomas je bescheiden opwacht. Je smaakpapillen worden tot hemels genot gebracht. De Bombaywallah chai is een kleine aanrader en bracht mij terug naar baby-aunti die iedere ochtend chai voor mij maakte. Kardemom is hierin een belangrijk ingrediënt wat voor een geurig effect zorgt. De gevulde paratha met onder andere aardappelen en doperwten was erg vullend. Eet smakelijk en doe dit met je handen voor een Indiase beleving!

Had a itison voucher. Ordered drinks that never arrived & we were the only customers. Food ok, rice cold.
