2hrs for a delivery! Food arrived wrong and cold. Avoid!

Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for my order. Fish pakora was soggy in a bed of oil and half the chicken pakora was tough and dry inside. Will not be ordering from here again.

Shambles, 1 and a half hours into a delivery and I’m told they can’t even guarantee it within the next hour. Avoid

Bought fish pakora just so bad ,and spicy chips can't believe how bad they were , partner got spicy chicken pizza , was cold ,think the food was made without love , so disappointed

Went here faithfully every weekend, never any issues other than dimly lit toilets. Anyway went in January as normal, found a long hair in my lamb, returned it only to have some guy from kitchen come out and publicly insult me in front of entire restaurant by claiming it was my own hair. Did not have the decency to come to table to discuss. He was suitably told what I thought of his approach. He asked if I wanted another dish which I declined. The manager behind the bar watched this whole scenario and when was over came to table with 2 free drinks to apologise for his colleague's behaviour. Totally unacceptable yo regular customers, not been back and no intention of doing so which is a real shame as I do like to support local businesses.

Great food & service and very reasonably priced

I ordered through Uber Eats from Cafe Asia. The tandoori lamb chop and tarka daal and rice were piping hot. The delivery was very quick to the Royal Alexandra Hospital. The lamb was very tender and the daal was nice and thick. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit. I will highly recommend it to anybody.

I have visited Cafe Asia for many years now and was never unhappy with the quality of the food. I was so disappointed when it closed and over the moon when it reopened again. However they have changed the nan bread and it is very poor quality. I don't know if they are buying in ready made but it is spoiling what we always found to be a great dining experience. I would like a response to my review. Thank you from a very unhappy customer who is very reluctant to come back.

Food was very mediocre. My prawn puri had little to no flavour and the chicken in the chicken tikka was stale and dry. Service was below par, waiting 40+mins on the server to take another drinks order and the meal took roughly 3 hours due to poor, or lack of service.

Nice clean restaurant, food was very good. Toilets need an overhaul.

By far the worst takeaway I've ever had ! The curry was absolutely tasteless, the most satisfying part of the meal was throwing it in the bin.

Food is out of this world. Highly reccomended. What i would say is dnt go at 5pm.as building stil heating up but all in all 5 stars all day long

Food was very poor compared to my last visit low amount of meat rice cold ☹️ I bought a Peshwari and returned it as it was burnt old time l got new Peshwari don’t know what it is how they can’t make a simple Peshwari !!! Absolutely hands down the worst mixed kebab I’ve had in my life. Last nights donner meat served with tasteless chicken tikka and over cooked / burnt lamb. Salad separate portion was for a small donner kebab and nowhere near enough for what you would refer to as a king kebab. Disgusting experience. Avoid like the plague.

My family organised a 70th Birthday Party for me on Saturday the 6th January we had a fabulous night The welcome and the ambiance were fabulous the service and food was fantastic they could not do enough for us. I can’t recommend highly enough the Manager and his staff for making our night so special. If anyone is planning a special event do yourself a favour and check them out. A very satisfied customer.

Lovely Food great selection quality service

Food was great. I had chicken pakorra & a kebab roll, was stuffed after them. Hot, fresh & tasty! The waiting staff were brilliant, always checking if everything was OK and smiling and happy. Big restaurant, surprised it wasn't mobbed on a Fri night.

Our go to Indian takeaway. Absolutely love the garlic naan. Usually get the special deal for one with fried rice and extra naan with upgraded starter. It's such a good portion that we share it for dinner.

This has been to my 'go to' place for the past 18 months. Yes, their prices have gone up lately, but that's understandable with the cost of energy skyrocketing across the country... It's stll great value though. Big portions, tasty naans & high quality dishes. Too many places like this are closing down around the country & we need to help keep them in business.

Varied Menu, food delicious , relaxed atmosphere and staff very friendly but professional and meal great value for money.

I had a lovely meal with my friends a couple of weeks ago in the restaurant they were so attentive could’nt do enough for us, I was telling my son so we decided to get carry out it was no we’re near what we had in restaurant so disappointed !!! We asked for chicken chatt which was dry chicken pakora it was a bag of scraps plus there was mushrooms in them I am allergic to 😡naan bread was’nt the same curry was ok 1 curry with rice naan n 2 starters £29 it was cheaper in restaurant

Sat in for a family meal for the first time in over a year, big improvement! Starters and mains were full of flavour, good portion sizes and very authentic. Staff were excellent, thanks. Looking forward to coming back with friends in a couple of weeks. Visited with friends as mentioned previously. Everyone was very happy with the quality of food and service. Keep it up folks 👏🏼

Just moved to the area. Have ordered take away to be delivered 3 times now and it's been different class! This is the first time we've come up to sit in and couldn't have had a better experience. All the waiting staff are extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive and friendly. They clearly care a lot about the business and that speaks for itself in my opinion. Thank you. x

The food was great and pricing was good, only criticism I'd have was the booths are not very roomy felt abit cramped, but the service was great.

Just had my first experience at Cafe Asia and I cant recommend this place enough. Ordered the lagan ki boti... not had something this good in a while. Ill be back again.

Mystery dishes delivered. No way to tell what was what as no writing on containers. No receipt. Ordered chicken Tikka masala and got a salty Onion based curry. Chapati was so dry as if made hours ago and was brown like brown bread. Waste of money.

Visiting my sister in Glasgow because of a death in the family. Had fish and chips last night,we could not get pizza delivered tonight,so,decided to have a curry. Thank goodness we ordered from Cafe Asia,beautiful food,delivered hot,best takeaway curry I have ever had, well done!!! Would recommend.

Really disappointing, poppadoms were soggy ,chicken pakora was dry and chicken in currys was dry. We waited over an hour for order and then put most of it in the bin.

Every Saturday night for years had a cafe Asia always brilliant but since opening up after their closing its just not the same everything tastes so much of tomatos, disappointed.

I got a take away from cafe Asia yesterday evening. I was shocked and horrified that not one member of staff was wearing a face covering. When I entered the premises, which I shouldn’t have been able to do, due to current lock down restrictions, I was met by two young girls laughing and looking at each other’s phones. Again, no face covering. Not one of the cooks was wearing a face covering either. When I questioned this, I was told that they were all exempt due to food fumes. I’ve never heard of this being an exemption criteria. I work as a nurse. I see people everyday suffering from COVID-19. I would expect everyone to wear a face covering. I am utterly disgusted by this and won’t be back. Myself and family were always regular visitors to the restaurant and take away. Their obvious disregard for their own, and public safety has just lost them my future custom. I will be raising this issue with the food standards agency next week.

Don’t let the location of this restaurant fool you, the food is incredibly flavoursome and fresh made. The food come out on the skillet and portion size is never an issue. I come to this restaurant on a regular basis as I live nearby and you can not argue with the value for money. If you wish you can byob however sometimes this isn’t really necessary as drink is so reasonably priced. Very accommodating to any booking requests and have never had any issues with service Would highly recommend, I would bet if you came here once that you’ll come again.

We enjoyed another lovely meal here tonight. I had a prawn cocktail to start, really great with plenty of juicy prawns, followed by spicy chicken tikka with nan bread and Tarka dhall. Others at the table had vegetarian south indian chilli; a chicken rajastani Jaipuri; and a Chicken Bhuna; with rice and nan bread. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and service was excellent. Friendly and professional. I was impressed that even when I booked the table by phone earlier in the day I was asked if I needed any high chairs. Obviously family friendly I thought this was extremely thoughtful (even though we didn't need any today).Always been pleased with this place. We'll be back again soon.

Went in, seated no problem, served fast. Food was brought out in quite a good time. Food was great. The one downside of the place is lack of space when having hot dishes at your table.

We came for dinner midweek as this is our favourite restaurant in the area whenever we are here visiting friends and family. The menu is great with a great choice across the board. We all have our favourite regular dishes but there are always new dishes on the menu too so we don't get bored.Service friendly and efficient.We were confused at first seeing the byob sign however this seems to be an option they still have a good selection of beers and wines available.There is limited parking here but if you can't get into the car park we've always parked at the side of the road opposite.Still a favourite.

We regularly order takeaway from here and it hasn’t disappointed. Service is excellent and so is the food quality. Can’t fault it.

First class food at very reasonable prices. Service is very good regardless of how busy it is. BYOB without corkage charge is great with their own wine and beer prices being very cheap. Highly recommend a visit or a carry out, you won't be disappointed.

Probably one of the best Asian Restaurant in Glasgow over time have had most of the meals on the menu all of them great. Pleasant friendly staff and great service.

Highly recommend this place. Decided to do a small family meal for over 20 people. The staff were friendly helpful and bringing our own bottles they were put in the fridge and were on the table in chillers for guests arriving. They set the table up in the centre of the restaurant and added balloons I didn’t bring with banners which was a lovely touch. They have deals available and advised what deal would best suit a group booking. Every guest picked a main course and trays of mixed pakoras were put on the table freshly made. With the main course there was rice and Nan any type available so everyone was full and happy including the surprised birthday boy. Can’t fault the food or service all night. Looking forward to our next visit.

Popped in for a proper Glasgow curry and that's what we got. Very accommodating chef who was even able to accommodate a dairy free diner. Have been a couple of times before and will go again.

The food is freshly cooked and always delicious. Friendly, efficient service. BYOB witn no corkage charge is an added bonus.

Visit this restaurant on a regular basis, have been doing so for many years and are never disappointed. Food excellent quality and flavours. Everything made fresh and portion sizes just perfect. The staff are young but very friendly and obliging.

Past this place often but had never went in ..we were pleasantly surprised by the interior ,standard of food ,which was very nice in the 4 courses we had ,portien size excellent .And waiters very attentive .Will definitely go back .

Chicken pakora was horrible; laced with fenugreek and very thin chicken = greasy batter. Very young counted staff were more interested in chatting to each other. Not a great experience and over-priced.

Myself and my family have been going to this local curry house for years. I had my 18th birthday dinner there, and although I live down south now, I am still visiting 9 years later! The pre-theatre menu is amazing. Less than £11 for starter, any main dish, and a side. The curries are flavoursome and so moreish, and rice/naan is perfect every time. Waiting staff are always friendly and service is quick, but without rushing. The restaurant is Bring Your Own Bottle too wish makes for a very reasonably priced meal.

Hi ordered buffet to go for 30people it arrived 20min late but worth the wait my guests were all happy with food not much left that says it all food was hot tasty would definitely use again only one gripe some of the pakora ordered was missing & replaced with chips will take that up with the manager but other than that food was very good.

Having used cafe Asia before I called them on Saturday evening at 7pm for a delivery.

Fuimos los últimos dos sábados para cenar con amigos y familia. La comida es fantástica, un menú variado y nunca tuvimos una mala comida desde aquí. El BYOB puede ser bastante bastante, pero sus precios son realmente buena. Bajo 8 libras por una botella de vino y sus cervezas no son caras. Este es probablemente uno de los mejores restaurantes indios en el sur de Glasgow. El pescado es delicioso (Orden pakora con 24 horas de antelación), como es el Cordero tandoori policías como entrante. Los platos son algunas de las cosas habituales, pero mezclado con un poco diferente de los habituales, como india, el Kooka Kana Boti Tooka Moonlight de pollo. Todo vale la pena probarlo, pero mi favorito es el Ki que es Boti Lagan deicious y el cordero se deshace en la boca, sin masticar es necesario. Sin duda merece la pena una visita.

Have been here a few times due to friends living near by, and have always had a great meal at cheap prices. BYOB, Lamb is always great.

Este es el restaurante más cercano a nuestra casa. Normalmente vamos de principios oferta por un precio razonable, pero esta vez decidimos pedir del menú a la carta. Ambos pedimos comida tandoori. Tuve la gambas tandoori y mi marido tenía pollo tandoori con queso. Ambos platos fueron sabrosos pero teníamos apenas suficiente carne. Sólo tenía 6 langostinos y unas cebollas y cuando pedí que me cambiaran la salsa me cobraron un extra de libra, aunque era el mismo salsa como mi marido y por lo tanto no era trabajo extra para el cocinero. En resumen, disfrutamos de la comida, pero se ve a otro lugar para la comida tandoori. El servicio era normal, la camarera más grave no era particularmente agradable y ella no para preguntar si nos quedamos satisfechos con nuestras comidas.

Arrived at takeaway 430am ordered chicken boona fried rice one chapati order took a whole three minutes to prepare and bag took it home and wasn't suprised to find the chicken tough and the overall quality of the meal poor 11 pounds plus wasted but I should have questioned the speedy preparation when I was still there I won't be in a hurry to go back that's for sure what suprises me is surely the management must see what they are sending out

Ha sido al Café Asia esta noche con mi pareja y nuestros dos niños. La comida era fantástica, ordenados chefs tandoori combo entrante, deliciosa y muy fresca. Comida - Pollo madras, el mejor que he tenido! Muy picante. Comida de cordero tikka principal, compañero me encantó este. Los niños chasni hija. Todo lo que comimos. Es impresionante! El personal era encantador. Chef trajo a la mesa de comidas, fue realmente agradable. Nuestro hijo menor hizo un poco desordenado en la mesa como niños! (1 año). El personal era encantador, nos dijeron que no era un problema. Lo que era realmente agradable como parte del personal del restaurante hacen que te sientas incómodo en ese tipo de situación. Clientes contentos y volveremos. Vale la pena el viaje desde Greenock!

We went for a takeaway and I was impressed at how helpful the young man was that took our order. When we got home it was a horrible sight and taste, both the vegetable and chicken pakora was pretty hard and dried out and in my opinion, certainly not fresh and quite possibly reheated reheats. I will not be back.

Went on Friday night for family of 10. All food was amazing. Portions were fab. Price reasonable. Waitresses on the ball. def recommend

the new menu is excellent with some tasty choices on offer, would recommend and have done to a many people, Royal chicken is my favourite.

i am not a fan of Indian food but went twice recently to family meals there and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I started with Garlic ban. Omg it was amazing oozing garlic butter. I then had a starter size chicken pakora with salad and fries. Absolutely delicious. You can take your own wine and no corkage is charged. The staff are lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us .

Takeaway arrived withing 20 mins. Hot. And very tasty. The portion of chicken pakora was huge and really well cooked. First time trying here. Really enjoyed it. We also had a spicy chicken pizza which was quite nippy but we expected that. Fast service and good value for money.

Enjoyed a lovely meal for four girls. Great service, excellent food and BYOB what more can you ask for? Garlic ban bread is a must.

We have been eating here for a while now and it has never failed to please. It is half a mile from home. An excellent and inexpensive meal. The samosas are fantastic. Nice attentive staff. The restaurant is fully licences but you can bring your own bottle.

I was taken to café asia as a birthday treat by my wife and step daughter, and when we arrived we were met by some close friends who were also invited which was a very delightful surprise, we were given an excellent service by Tani and his staff who were very attentive and proficient. they have an excellent menu which is varied and well priced.we all had a great meal accompanied with drinks in a relaxing atmosphere, and afterwards Tani came out with a cake and all the staff and customers were singing happy birthday which just made my night a wonderful experience.we enjoyed it so much we returned three nights later and repeated it again this time with family only. thanks to management and staff for everything

Called on Saturday with family,we got a mixed bag of food,Lamb Saag,Chicken Chasne,chicken Pakora,Boiled rice,Naan Bread.All lovely and very tasty,served by smiling friendly staff,well worth a visit.

Regular visitor to this restaurant for several years now. Excellent food, very varied menu (not your run of the mill standard choice) new meals to try for many people and you can 'Bring your own bottle' and no corkage charges. I often call them and order a take away meal for us and we have family that visit us and request we get it from here and we sit in our garden room (weather permitting). Best spicy onions and peshwari nan for miles around too :)

We booked for a party of about 23 and when we arrived they had us spread over two tables instead of 1 which was a bit disappointing for us. The staff were so friendly though and managed to work it out so that we were all together and served quickly considering! I always think the food is great here and the fact you can bring your own drink is a bonus! Would recommend the party platter for family functions or dinners as there was loads to eat and we really enjoyed ourselves

My family and friends have been eating at this restaurant for years and would highly recommend it. The chicken pakora is a delicious. Flavoursome and just enough for a starter. The chicken korma is beautifully creamy and perfect with garlic nan. Great value for money.
