I always forget this place exists and am I so glad when I remember!! The food is delicious and fresh. I’m not a veggie but I am not wanting for meat here, the food is so tasty and beautifully presented. Service is always lovely and helpful from Ritika!!

The place offers authentic variety for cuisine from India (Mumbai). If you love eating Vada-pav (Indian Burger), Poha, Samosa, then this a place you should visit Pro- cheap, tasty meals, fresh and hot Vada pav Cons- small place-can get crowded, Tea is good but large quantity and more water

The food was frozen, when come on table Vau pav as solid as rock and bread bun not fresh it blue mould in middle I pay for meal and walk out of place

I have ordered chole bature they placed us uncooked food disgusting due to that food we suffered with stomach pain after eating that ...I suggest not to try this .

Visited the House of Chat Slogh after listening to lots of advert on radio. My experience was a disappointing as it didn't come through expectations and the way it was advertised. The food quality wasn't that great but an average. Was very oily all dishes we had ordered.

Here goes my review. Only visit if you want to get robbed! The staff look miserable and if you get a service with smile you be lucky. Vada Pav used to be £1, then price went up to £1.25. This week i got told that price increased and Vada Pav is now £2.50. Seriously! Plus if you put butter on vada Pav it is 50p extra. Wow surely the price of butter is not that high! So to smear a bit of butter you charge 50p extra. Do you really put 50p worth of butter on your Pav? Because if you do, i dread to think of how much fat and cholesterol you are giving to the customers. McDonalds have just increased the price of their cheeseburgers about 20p in 14 years. Come on guys really £2:50 for a Vada Pav? You will definitely lose some customers and i do not think this price is due to inflation but simply greed! This is not Krishna’s way. Also, why is the price of Vada Pav in other branches different from the Slough Branch? The app is showing Hounslow as cheaper than Slough. Hounslow price £1.75 a vada pav Slough £2.50. I have enclosed the screenshots! So what is going on? Has Slough entered the rich zone lol! Please sort your businesses out. Disappointed and feel robbed! Restaurant isn’t pristine clean, the toilet in the corner speaks for itself. Then you associate Krishna’s name to make money.

Best chaat in Slough; would highly recommend the papdi chaat and bhel puri. The masala chai is also excellent, I pop in there often just to get that. Fantastic food that doesn't cost the earth, what's not to enjoy!

The food quality is good but in Oct 20 I ordered food through Deliveroo. they didn't send 2 Pav Bhaji. As soon as I got the order I called the restaurant and the guy spoke to me promised to give me the 2 pav bhaji next time I order. Since I frequently take food from them I didn't mind. I agreed to accept the pav bhajis next and the guy said he will send 1 more pav bhaji as a good will. Today I ordered from them again and when I called up they said the order was more than 4 months and they can't check back that far so they can't honour it.It's only 2 pav bhaji and it's not end of the world. But next time I won't trust their word

Vada pav was amazing...its a great value for money ......would sure visit again.... could do better with the service though

Went it at 10 am.. they had just opened, so was peaceful and quiet with just 2 tablesI'm a regular customer of SKVP.. Have visited their other branch in Hounslow East.Authentic taste - whatever you eat. Love their Vada Pav..Will definitely visit again

Eaten here a couple of times. Alwasy busy and always good. It really is the genuine deal, just like on the streets of India/Chowpatty beach. Well priced too.

I remember eating at the SKVP in Hounslow a few years ago and enjoying it. My recent trip to SKVP in Slough was a lot less fun. The samosas seemed a bit stale, the bhaji of the pao bhaji was like sludge and didn't taste much better, and the "lassi" was far too thick for lassi. On the other hand, the theplas were apparently pretty good and the chana masala served with the samosas was fine as well. All in all, a very mixed bag. The prices are really amazing though, and the South Asian population here really swears by this chain, so if I ever feel like eating chaat in the UK again, I will make the trip to the SKVP at Hounslow.

Really enjoyed this place for a Sunday lunch today. We ordered vada pav, sev puri, aloo tikki chaat and chilli paneer. The dishes were all flavoursome and well presented. We had an accompanying cutting chai which was very good and memorable (hint of ginger!). We felt like we were in a mumbai cafe! It's quite a small place but we counted 22 seats! It was very busy when we were in there, with locals and what seemed to be locals and that is always a good sign. We also like that this place is vegetarian and there is plenty on the menu to choose from. Next time we go for lunch (which will hopefully be soon) we will try different dishes as I now want to try the rest of the menyu. Staff are helpful and friendly. Good value for money! If you want authentic Indian experience in Slough, this is right at the top of the list!

It’s the best restaurant for Mumbai Street food, albeit crowded they provide a great service. A special mention to Susie when we visited SKVP Hounslow, she is wonderful, friendly and one of the most efficient people I have ever seen. All the best and I hope you open a branch in Reading soon

Who would imagine that you can get Vada Pav (as delicious as you get in India) for just 1£ in UK. That's right! They sell Vada Pav for 1£ and that too with a 5% discount :)The restaurant always gives you a voucher of 5% of the money you spent over there which can be used on your next order. The service is really quick and you don't have to wait for long.The only drawback is that it's a small place so sometimes you might not find a place to sit there.Overall 5/5.

It's one of my favorite place to eat Indian Street Food. All the items are very yummy. Specially, I like VadaPav, Dahi Papri, Samosa Chaat, Panner Roll and what not !!With the food, Service is very good and much appreciated from the members of SKVP includes Gokul, Shruti and everyone..I will say - must visit place for good food :)

Almost every month i visit skvp hounslow and recently came to know there is one in slough as well. Best place for Food away from home . Have no words to thank skvp team for hving proper maharashtrian food availavle away from home abroad in uk..thank you so much guys ...food is so tasty with reasonable rates and feels like i m with my own family members whenver i visit skvp..kudos to skvp team..ambience reminds me hving vada pav and masala chai in pune-mumbai on road side stall ..

My brother and his friends are regulars here even though they live 20 miles away, but I don't get to visit so often.

Have eaten here many times and the food is delicious. It is absolutely authentic and freshly made. The service is fast and just want to say what a fantastic member of staff Susie is. No matter how busy it is she still delivers a service with a smile. Every restaurant should have a “Susie”!

This was our third visit to SKVP slough branch. As always quick service and spicy street food. As it was cold outside the hot chai complement food. We ordered lunch special for £5 you get 1 vadapaw, 1 chat and 1 glass of desi chai. The only reason I have marked 4 stars this time because there was hair in one of chat yuk, and the item was replaced by the SKVP without fuss.

I called to make an order for collection about 7.45pm. I was told that I could not order what I wanted but only dishes that were prepared and did not require 'cooking' by the chefs as they were closing at 8pm. Basically saying that the kitchen was closed. Was very disappointed. It's close to work and we were ordering dinner as a few colleagues were working late. The website isn't easy to navigate so checking that and listing the order took time. I've not been turned down like that before and there are always customers sitting in the restaurant past 8pm. Haven't ordered from there since and don't want to anytime soon which is a shame as it was a place we ate from quite regularly (fortnightly) before.

I'm not one to visit a fully vegetarian food joint but I was very glad I did.

First visit to the chain cafe, recommended by friend and enjoyed it thoroughly. We tried multiple dishes vada pav, pav bhaji , samosa chat etc and almost everything was great including the tea.

We just returned from holiday in India and found out about this SKVP in slough. Me and my wife had lunch and wasn't disappointed at all. The food is yummy and tasty. We asked to make our food mild and even then I was sweating. Overall good little place to eat Mumbai street food. Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you SKVP for opening branch in Slouch.

Another visit today and it was as good as ever. Had a delicious and fairly substantial bhel puri with a masala chai for a very reasonable price.

Back to this place again, we love the variety: the coriander sticks and paneer wrap are especially good. All of it is vegetarian so brilliant to take friends

A small place but nice staff , quick serving , a very honest street food , Being from Mumbai I can confidently say its closest to Indian street food. I have been atleast once a week in last 4 months

Great place to grab proper marathi food. We had our regular vada paav, katchi dabeli and I guess you get this on weekends only; Sabudana Vada and this was the highlight. These were absolutely amazing, properly authentic delicacies...

We visited SKVP again and the service and standards were still the same. Food was great! Ordered schezwan dabeli, papdri chat, pea petis and bhel. All were delicious and super quick.

Authentic and very tasty vegetarian food, service is very good and staff very good and helpful.. Place is small around 16-20 people seating , sometime its get very busy.

Something different for a change in terms of fast food. Very tasty food, very polite and friendly service. Maybe just slightly too little space inside but that is not important, because the best thing about this place is food. Well worth it. Will be coming back.

As a non vegetarian I always frown upon those who eat veggie burgers and anything that mimmicks meat being vegetarian. This place however does Indian vegetarian food, the flavours, variety of ingredients all perfect and beautifully balanced. Nothing stood out in any dish but yet everything could be distinguished and still stood out when you discovered it. I will definitely come back here to try the other half of the menu I had to forfit this time.

The place is small for a large group. But the food is lovely and fresh. Price is very reasonable. It a must to try. x

Fantastic experience. We were greedy and ordered vada pau, cheese dabeli, aloo papri chaat, bhel, chilli paneer and tea. Suzie was very friendly and quick even though the restaurant was busy. Quality of food was really good and reasonably priced. Will return!
