Delicious through and through! 4 dishes and all amazing! Jalfeizi was tasty and filling. Naan bread and sides scrummy. Polite delivery person too.

Another delicious meal tonight. No one does it quite like Monihar. Top drawer. Everytime someone asks me for the best takeaway curry I do not hesitate to recommend Monihar.

We had an issue with one of our dishes and the restaurant rectified it within the hour. We are pleased with how the complaint was dealt with, very fairly and professionally. Thanks

A massive family of 13 and spent over £100, missed out a curry and said we didn’t order, when I have it written down infront of me! Didn’t supply any poppadums when spent over that much money! Absolute shambles of a restaurant! I wouldn’t recommend at all

Used to live in Burnham and now live in Windsor and other than our lovely local, Binoy, we only ever order from here. The portions are double most places, spice is lush and it's just amazing! Don't read negative reviews, order and judge for yourself! Even after 12 years away from Burnham we still go back to what we know!

Absolutely awful food and no customer service skills. I ordered food from here which took about an hour and half to arrive. When it did arrive as soon as we opened the dhal we were hit by a funny smell. We thought it may be the masala's used so we decided to dish up. The food was doused in sugar, thats all we could taste, literally no spices until we came to the dhal, thats when we were hit with awful off date food. I called the restaurant and advised them of this, also informing them I was pregnant and was greeted by the most arrogant man who refused to believe me. He was adamant all food was made in the morning and therefore it could not be off. My husband then spoke to him and advised the same, he argued with my husband saying 'why is it always the Indians who complain'. My husband advised he would drive down with the food so he could check it himself. As this conversation and the food itself had put a sour taste in out mouth I advised my husband to pack all the food to return and get our money back. When my husband arrived at the shop he was greeted by the most arrogant, rude owner who said he would not taste the food or smell it and was adamant it was not off date. He then took all the food we ordered and gave my husband a refund for the dhal and refused to hand over the rest of the money and also decided to keep the food. His words were 'I am the boss I can do whatever I want'! His kitchen staff who's hands were filthy and looked like they had not been washed also decided to join in and started threatening my husband! An absolute joke of a restaurant if thats what you can all it!!

Ordered food arrived more than 40 mins late with no apology, once food had arrived took it out of the bag and everything had been covered in oil by not properly closing the lids on containers, when opening one of the dishes the food was clearly not fresh and been made some time before as it smelt very bad to the point I felt physically sick, called the restaurant and spoke to the ridiculously rude owner who refused to accept the food was past its use by date he offered a replacement or my money back so I was instructed to return the food in order to get a refund which I did, upon handing the food back he gave me a refund for the one dish and refused to give a refund for the whole order whilst also taking the food, he did then threatened to assault me with his chef whilst screaming abuse at me and threatening me with violent profanity. Never have I been spoken to by anyone like that let alone an owner of a business, as for the hygiene rating I’m a bit shocked as I’ve read a few reviews and a majority have had the same experience with rancid food. I’d steer clear from this restaurant and the owner.

Great value, big portions and incredibly tasty. Delivery is always fast with really friendly drivers.

The tandoori chicken was old and not suitable to serve. It was not fresh at all and disgusting. The chicken had a very bad smell to it and was grey under all the tandoori seasoning. The rice was soggy and overcooked and not edible. The curry was very bland and watery. Only decent thing was the Chapati bread and papadoms. Never ordering from here again. Waste of money and food went all in the bin.

I always order from this Indian, won’t go anywhere else. Lovely staff, very polite when taking your order, the food is beautiful and arrives hot every time! Very reasonably priced and they always give me complimentary popadoms and mint sauce with my order even though I’m sometimes only ordering for 1. The 5 star food hygiene rating is also a big selling point for me. I don’t often write reviews but I feel this place is underrated and I don’t understand why! Thank you Monihar :-)

We love the food from Monihar. We moved to Windsor 10 years ago but still order from our 'local' takeaway. Lovely staff and great curry!

Thought we would try a different Indian to our usual, always stick to what you know. The pricing may look appealing but ultimately you get what you pay for - a lower quality Indian. If you just want a quick, cheap Indian takeaway then this place can be that but I have learnt my lesson to always go for a trustworthy, quality place.

Placed an order at 22.48pm - order expected 23.45pm for home delivery. At 00.05am still no order, on a Saturday night! Contacted the restaurant and of course they had shut for the evening! So kids went to bed with no food! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! Most pathetic service!

Telephone order for delivery at 5.45 p.m., 7 p.m. advised out for delivery, 7.30 p.m. advised 5 minutes away. Turns up at 7.50 p.m., unacceptable service, no apology.

This is not true Indian food it’s awful! Being Indian what I ordered and what I got was not true it went straight in bin! I wouldn’t recommend you waste your money personally!

Our family have been ordeing from Monihar for at least 15/16 years, my children have grown up with having lovely dishes from here. They are always friendly, asking how my family are even if it's been a while since last order. Today I was just my son and I having Lamb Passanda and Naga Chicken which both were so very tasty as always. I think we have had most dishes on the menu at some stage. Tonight they was extra busy so it took a bit longer than normal, but it was worth the wait. It was also delivered by the most lovely kind hearted man. Would recommend using this take away... we wouldn't ho any where else.

Husband and wife takeaway Friday 8th March early evening, delivery was quick which was good. We had lamb madras, chicken jalfrezi and 2 pilou rice for £18. Portions were about right not big nor small, the wife enjoyed her chicken jalfrezi but I wasn’t that keen on the lamb madras. Prob would get a takeaway from there again.

We had food from this monihar tandoori few week back. Looking at qty we thought it will be good, but so disappointed rubbish food. No recommendation for this big no no. Not even close to Indian food. I cook 100 times better.

The food from Monihar is good, but they don’t always get it right so we always collect our order rather than having it delivered and double check what’s in the bag before we leave the shop! The portions are good - we always have too much - and orders over a certain value receive complimentary poppadoms and onion salad - lovely touch! I recommend you give this a try if you are catering at home.

I tried this outlet from Just Eat after seeing good reviews about it. I have tried their House Special curries (Chilli masala and Chicken Tikka Korai) which have been delivered piping hot and with a nice curry cooked as per my taste (bit spicy). The curries are worth the money. Also their chapattis and tandoori roti is good but would like the chapatti to be a bit thinner. They also provide papad, salad and chutney as accompaniments which are a good addition to the meal.

Decidimos visitar este lugar, ojalá no tenía y fuimos más allá en el pueblo. La comida era terrible, había mentido sobre el pedido, decidimos pedir una porción de samosa pedido verduras y carne terminó con 2 porciones también cuando pedimos las patatas fritas eran patatas fritas preguntó si gruesas cortar, me dijeron que sí y que no son las patatas fritas finas. Cuando abrió la bolsa de patatas que estaban las patatas fritas cortadas finas. Samosa estamos fríos como si no hubiesen frito correctamente. También no era correcto ensalada ensalada fue una bolsa de cebollas con mini de zanahoria. Sin duda no regresaré o recomendarlo a nadie.

Hemos tenido numerosas comidas de la Monihar y honestamente puedo decir que es mi favorito de comida hindú para llevar en la zona de slough/maidenhead. La comida siempre es perfecto y la entrega es gratuito dentro de un radio de 5 millas. Si planeas recogerá entonces sugeriría sonando en tu pedido ya que se ahorra la espera, solemos ofrecer ellos y los tiempos de espera son razonables incluso en horas pico.
