I was told on arrival that they cannot make the order of parathas as they were busy. I won’t be coming back anymore as I may be told the same again.

The worst meethai ever. Bought the mithai yesterday and it wasnt fresh and the staff said its hard because it was in the fridge however the taste was stale as well and rather than listening to what we had to say she took the mithai out from her fridge and said the taste is nice. The worst customer service ever. I returned the whole box and they didnt even bother to apologies for our experience. I would ever recommend this shop to anyone unless they want stale food. They don’t even deserve one star.

Got Gujiya from here on Holi, when we could not get it in any other shop in Slough. We called up before going and they confirmed. They have worked hard on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness. We ordered portions of many sweets and all tasted great.

I had very bad experience with this shop as I ordered samosas and sweets and those had very bad taste and it seems like rotten and when my brother called them to inform lady was so rude and not even said sorry so I would never recommend this shop to anyone .

It's a good place to get samosa and alloo paratha. Sweets are reasonable.

I’m sadly saying they provide very bad service I ordered twice from there ,same thing happen with me for two times I ordered samosas and I ask them for fresh but in reality that samosas are soggy looks like fried two times ,very disappointed .

Very bad quality sweets, nothing fresh and prices are also very high compared to other shops. Unhealthy food. Would not recommend to any person to go here.

Self service buffet food and auto table cleaning service for when you go up for food at the buffet table. So much fresh cooked food including vegetarian 😋

I am writing this review after experiencing the same issue for third time and now I cannot stop myself telling everyone about this. It’s the issue they need to address as soon as possible or else the business may suffer a great loss of customers. Their sweets, pakoras etc are delicious undoubtedly. But professionalism is missing. To save waiting time, people order for their stuff over the phone. The lady on the other side takes the appropriate details and when you reach the place they will have no idea of your order. You then will have to wait for long time (easily half an hour to one hour) for them to prepare for your order on site. If they are so unsure of the people turning up for their telephonic orders they then should charge their customers pre-hand. I am sure people would not mind paying before picking up their stuff. This time I drove for half an hour and took another ten minutes to find the parking just to find that my order wasn’t ready. They were asking me the name of the lady who took my order. Usually we don’t ask the name of the person taking order. Clearly the coordination between staff members is missing.

What an incredible, professional, reliable service. I needed samosas, pakoras and spring rolls and didn't preorder in advance. I contacted the owner at 8.30am and the lovely lady responded straight away, saying no problem please come and pick it up at 9am! On my arrival at 9am everything was ready, hot, packed for me to collect. My colleagues at work absolutely loved the food, it was fresh, delicious. Samosas had lots of feeling and really tasty. Spring rolls and pakoras were also large, with lots of feeling, crispy and delicious. Oh, yes and chutney was really tasty too! Outstanding service, super delicious food, definitely will be back. Thank you 🥰

Honestly, people just jump the queue and the ladies staff don’t even notice who was there first and start serving people speaking their own language. Came home and checked reviews. No surprise there. Need to sort that out otherwise its a good place for the sweets.

Delicious and well priced sweets. Lots of options at this shop. Food options are also very delicious, but sweets are the best part.

I frequently visit for the delicious Punjabi cuisine but recently I have found that the staff is rather rude and disrespectful and often makes customers feel uncomfortable. I waited in a very long queue only to be snapped at and find that most of their stock has been used by a “large order”.

This is my first and last experience in this shop. Please nobody visit this place. I order my lot of stuff they guys miss somosa chat in my order I pay for it and no receipt. Very disappointed.

The prices are competitive and the sweet dessert is just as good if not better than leading chains. I would highly recommend.

I am quite upset that they didn't give me my fish and chips I ordered on the phone 1 hour earlier. I think the Windsor chippy is clear and that the sweet dish is actually sour. Also the woman of a dark skin tone itched their armpits before putting the filling in my gol guppa. Disgraceful but I give it 5 stars because because of the gains.

Bought papri chat, they charged £5.50 for small portion, when I opened, the box there was just potatos and chick peas, no yugurt and completly dry and hard to swallow, i was so upset, and disappointed. Waste of money.

I was really looking forward to samosas from here. I came into the shop and ordered 10 samosas - instead of serving my order the lady took another order from another customer and served their order first whilst telling me to wait. I patiently waited until another customer came in and she then proceeded to serve them and give their order to them. At this point I realised I was not being served my order and made to wait until all the other customers got their orders despite placing their orders after me due to being white. Absolutely racist behaviour, every customer should be treated equal regardless of their skin colour. You chose to have your store in a multicultural location, please thus treat all cultures equally. Thank you for your response, I did try to call as both myself and my partner are very upset about this situation, however I have been advised that the owner is not available to speak to and there are no set times when I can speak to them. I do not believe the way I was treated was due to a language barrier as much as I wish it was. Please review your cameras from today between 6:15 and 6:30 if you have them for evidence. Please can you address this with your staff, so that hopefully no other customer will ever have to be made to feel like this under your management.

I have eaten at and purchased from Maharajah for very many years and consider their food excellent. So much so they catered for my daughter’s reception. The range of food is vast and their cooking is fantastic. And no one, but no one, makes aloo, gobi or mooli parathas quite like them. Made to order, they are fresh and hot and flavoursome. I am a life long fan and no one would compare with their masterful cookery. Keep it up!

Maharaja is a great place to get authentic vegetarian North Indian cuisine. There is large variety of curries and starters. There is a small eating facility as well. The samosas and pokoras are out of this world. The service is a bit slow sometimes - yet food presentation is good and it's reasonably priced.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant. They dont wear gloves hairnets or even clean aprons! And the food was gross. Really surprised they have a 4 rating for hygiene. Someone needs to do an inspection of this place!!

more a convenient place as not much choice their samosa are good but the Indian sweets look grotty and Inedible they should refine their sweets also they lack staff in busy periods there is only one staff on who can't cope just one staff on they need to employ one or 2 staff asap

Samosas used to be and still are good, but vastly overpriced at £0.85 each.

Got kalakand and one of the cream sweets along with some namkeens. Disappointed with both the sweets. No taste at all. Namkeens were average.

Maharaja cater the vegetarians. The samosas and pakora are freshly made. I know many friends and family who travel miles just to eat and buy food.

Useless, don’t bother, £300 wasted. when I complained about the food all I get is sarcastic replies as if he is my relative instead of saying sorry. totally frustrated.

My experience: too many people crowded into one small shop with no doors or windows opened to let air circulate. Two ladies serving food one of which was using her bare hands and taking cash with the same hands and using the cash register with seemingly little to no concern for hygiene and the other lady wore just one blue plastic glove with which she was serving the food, then handling money with the same hand and touching the cash register and never once washing either of her hands or disposing of the plastic glove. I regretfully experienced no customer service. This is the third time I've encountered this in the same outlet. Food is good but things could, in my estimation be improved.

This was an order of 6 pinni laddoos. As you can see this is not the case! I ended up having to drive to the shop so they could rectify their mistake after having my food delivered. Also made to feel low because they implied I lied! Secondly ordered saag which is supposed to come with muli salad and it didn’t! Waste of money!

Best samosas in town,their chilli paneer is okay but their saag paneer is a must try.Overall, taste wise and service wise I would give it an okay rating, they have lots of room for improvement.

Best in town, if you looking for Indian food. The food got proper Indian touch as it feels like have been prepared in your own kitchen. The staff is very friendly and bubbly. Such a busy shop, I would totally recommend there food. Give it a try you won’t regret.
