I had very bad experience with Maharajasweets.Once I ordered Gobi Manchurian and my money got deducted but they cancelled my order. When next I order they said we will send you a previous order with the new one but they didn't sent. and I called and asked them I haven't received the previous order so the girl said I Forgot to send it to you because I was at back and doing some work. This people doesn't know others values for money. And the quality of food was so bad.

Do not buy any sweets from here absolutely tasteless and low quality, they don't use authentic raw materials, I ordered mixed mithai and almost all of them were absolutely crap in taste as well as their savoury items are also not that good..I will never buy sweets from here again.

I ordered Rasgulla, which wasn’t as expected. It was hard, stale, and taste was very disgusting. It wasn’t fresh at all. I had vomited twice after eating it. I wasted my money as well as my time. I am very much disappointed. Will never order anything from Maharaja and also let people know about the food quality.

Very tasty veg samosas, friendly staff. Sukhjit was very kind and helpful, she really went above and beyond to assist with the whole order!

Got food poisoning after the food... such a bad quality under cooked food

I had a worst experience. I went to buy sweets and bought 3 types of barfi from them for my guests. I came back home and when I was preparing to serve sweets to my guests, I found there was fungus on some of the barfi. I was shocked and I had to rash to other sweet shop to buy sweets. I paid more than £30 at Maharaja for barfi. At least, they should check their food/barfi to give it to customers. I wanted to go to Maharaja but I haven’t take receipt from them. I threw all the sweets. Really disappointed. Wasted my money. If anyone is going to Maharaja, please make sure to check food first or check the food before leaving the shop.

I would NOT recommend this place. 1..They are stingy with their chutney. I was not even given my entitlement as I was one samosa short of 5 in my order of 19, ( a lot less than I normally buy) . 😱 2.. I feel they have no loyalty or care for their regular customers and don't care to build relationships with them. I am a regular customer and I buy for family and friends and wasted my time promoting their samosas. I travel from Maidenhead especially for them.. And I am gutted at their attitude of stinging on their chutney. 3...one time when I arrived home I realised I was one samosa short. It was replaced, not eagerly, but imagine going all the way home to Maidenhead and one person not getting a samosa. When I mentioned this on my next visit, I don't feel they believed me. 4...I agree with the customers about Maharaja attitude in not taking the blame. The owner seems to have a tact in turning the blame back onto the customers. This does put me off going back to them. The owner does not to recognise that the present reviews are damaging to his/her busines. The owner might want to think about compensating his loyal customers. They might then delete their their reviews if satisfied with the compensation I WOULD RECOMMEND MITHAI BOX instead..

My son want to buy some pakore and spring roll and wait there 45mins . When he back to home he turn up freezing cold pakore an we are just 1 mins driveway away from them . And I was keep chasing him for food coz of guy est and his uncle was with him ☹️

Bought 3 samosas and I was charged for chutney wich looked like sugar syrup with colemans mint sauce and chili powder. Nothing authentic, just basic stuff you always get chutney with samosas. Small petty thing let this place down

We always go there to get punjabi snacks and sweets and its always fresh and full of taste. Even though its far from our house but because of the taste and quality we don't mind travelling. And the cherry on top is staff is so friendly. They always have a smile on their faces. I highly recommend Maharaja Sweets.

I've been lucky enough to have this business catering at my place of work for the last few weeks and I've honestly not stopped talking about how great the food is! The worst meethai ever. Bought the mithai yesterday and it wasnt fresh and the staff said its hard because it was in the fridge however the taste was stale as well and rather than listening to what we had to say she took the mithai out from her fridge and said the taste is nice. The worst customer service ever. I returned the whole box and they didnt even bother to apologies for our experience. I would ever recommend this shop to anyone unless they want stale food. They don’t even deserve one star.

Got Gujiya from here on Holi, when we could not get it in any other shop in Slough. We called up before going and they confirmed. They have worked hard on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness. We ordered portions of many sweets and all tasted great.

I had very bad experience with this shop as I ordered samosas and sweets and those had very bad taste and it seems like rotten and when my brother called them to inform lady was so rude and not even said sorry so I would never recommend this shop to anyone .

I am writing this review after experiencing the same issue for third time and now I cannot stop myself telling everyone about this. It’s the issue they need to address as soon as possible or else the business may suffer a great loss of customers. Their sweets, pakoras etc are delicious undoubtedly. But professionalism is missing. To save waiting time, people order for their stuff over the phone. The lady on the other side takes the appropriate details and when you reach the place they will have no idea of your order. You then will have to wait for long time (easily half an hour to one hour) for them to prepare for your order on site. If they are so unsure of the people turning up for their telephonic orders they then should charge their customers pre-hand. I am sure people would not mind paying before picking up their stuff. This time I drove for half an hour and took another ten minutes to find the parking just to find that my order wasn’t ready. They were asking me the name of the lady who took my order. Usually we don’t ask the name of the person taking order. Clearly the coordination between staff members is missing.

What an incredible, professional, reliable service. I needed samosas, pakoras and spring rolls and didn't preorder in advance. I contacted the owner at 8.30am and the lovely lady responded straight away, saying no problem please come and pick it up at 9am! On my arrival at 9am everything was ready, hot, packed for me to collect. My colleagues at work absolutely loved the food, it was fresh, delicious. Samosas had lots of feeling and really tasty. Spring rolls and pakoras were also large, with lots of feeling, crispy and delicious. Oh, yes and chutney was really tasty too! Outstanding service, super delicious food, definitely will be back. Thank you 🥰

Honestly, people just jump the queue and the ladies staff don’t even notice who was there first and start serving people speaking their own language. Came home and checked reviews. No surprise there. Need to sort that out otherwise its a good place for the sweets.

Full refund requested …. Half order missing of samosa … woman totally argued with me requesting me to come to the shop to collect the missing!!! Defeats the object Uber ways. !! Total waste of time … this woman needs customer care ❤️

I frequently visit for the delicious Punjabi cuisine but recently I have found that the staff is rather rude and disrespectful and often makes customers feel uncomfortable. I waited in a very long queue only to be snapped at and find that most of their stock has been used by a “large order”.

The prices are competitive and the sweet dessert is just as good if not better than leading chains. I would highly recommend.

I am quite upset that they didn't give me my fish and chips I ordered on the phone 1 hour earlier. I think the Windsor chippy is clear and that the sweet dish is actually sour. Also the woman of a dark skin tone itched their armpits before putting the filling in my gol guppa. Disgraceful but I give it 5 stars because because of the gains.

Bought papri chat, they charged £5.50 for small portion, when I opened, the box there was just potatos and chick peas, no yugurt and completly dry and hard to swallow, i was so upset, and disappointed. Waste of money.

Not enough chutney … for 3 spring rolls and 7 samosa … one small pot of chutney was given … once I called them saying I requested more chutney. I was told come to the restaurant and get more chutney. Then I was so cross and said just give refund … I was told. The girl who packed your order, her pay will be deducted .. and you will get your refund ….. absolutely disgusting. !
