First time ordering. Great service. Food on time and hot - and tasted great!

Terrible takeaway. We were staying at a cottage nearby and ordered a delivery for 8 people. The food was incredibly dry. 3 of our group put there's pretty much straight in the bin. I personally had a chicken madras which while edible, contained only a few tiny chicken pieces. The food came relatively quickly which makes me question if it was cooked fresh. It certainly didn't taste that way.

Visited as a family group of 8 and were made most welcome. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very friendly. Excellent value for money. The restaurant is not licenced but you are welcome to take your own alcoholic drinks which keeps the price down. We will certainly visit again.

Best Indian restaurant we have ever been to and we have been to hundreds all over the world. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent quality. The people serving actually cared about the customer and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. An absolute fantastic experience. Would make the 200+ miles journey just to visit here again. It's taken me 30 years to find my favourite curry in London, but I am happy to say Bengal has delivered 👌 consistently delicious and impeccable service. Do yourself a favour and try Amins biriyani

The prawns were not crispy at all. They were wrapped in a dense, salty, spring roll wrapping. I had to strip the giant wrapping off to access the tiny prawns underneath. They were salty as heck. Disappointing. I am going to try the biryani and okra.

Distinctly average. Usually order the paneer tikka so went for paneer biryani for a change. Ordered mild for husband, slightly hot for me - the biryani was exactly the same and only the sauce differed. Biryani too hot for husband. Very limited amount of paneer in the dish. I had tarka dal instead of the veg curry - it was very thin and very salty.
