Bombay Brasserie in South Kesteven

What has happened to this place? No greeting on entering, the waiter was wearing jeans and had the personality of lump of wood, trying to explain to him that my wife wanted poppadoms the same time as my starter would of made a good comedy on TV. The sheer kebab was really bland with no flavour. Main course was OK but the nan bread was so thin it came like a giant crispbread, but the best is when we were asked what we would like to drink only to be told that they can not serve alcohol as they have no licence.

First time I have ordered from this restaurant as I usually use the Boston branch. Very impressed with the quality of the food and the service I received. I will definitely return.

Popped in for an early tea. Very friendly and welcoming. Great choice of menu. Very popular with locals for takeaways too. Would definitely go again.

Great service and great food, nothing else needed. It is tucked behind the Ship pub and may seem a bit small but it has excellent food and service with a smile every time.

I order every few weeks, its consistently great, the chefs are great, the front of house staff are great as is the management. It's like being back in Rusholme, Like it mild ask, like it hot , they get it right. I cant cook a fantastic curry, and I dont buy those horrid jars of stuff, treat yourself, get a great curry. few a few quid more, its well worth it.

Bliney, where do I start? As soon as I walked in I was met with nothing but smiles from the staff and the big man himself. I didn’t order starters or poppadoms but was beyond stuffed from my main, rice and naan. The food was undeniably amazing. So delicious. I found the staff far from “miserable” as they checked on me multiple times to see if I was okay and that my drink was full. As soon as I was finished my table was being cleared and cleaned. Even with my tasty and plentiful dinner I received healthy change from my £20 note. I could of happily paid double just for my main alone. I felt I needed to share my positive experience. It was so disappointing to see that from the looks of things 1 table or just a bad review inventor then review theif, had left a couple of bad reviews. They clearly didn’t even try to enjoy themselves and was too focused on blaming the staff, food and the price rather then their own gloominess. I couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone near or far.

Worst ever meal. Tasted awful and really not happy. New chef, new staff who were miserable. Ordered mushroom rice and whatever was in it could have fuelled a rocket. Small portions and triple what we have previously paid.

Another lovely curry from these guys, one of best we've had in a long time, spot on and very quick friendly service.

We have used Bombay Brasserie on a number of occasions ( delivery only) And the food is very good , The delivery is always on time and the food always warm and well packed .

This is a comfortable restaurant with small portions of quite fresh food (apart from the samosas).. however, when we read the bill we had been charged £3.80 for two glasses of tap water. There was nothing on the menu about water. We didn’t want an alcoholic drink. Under the 2003 Licensing Act a restaurant serving alcohol is legally required to provide water freely. What a ridiculous thing to do - as well as completely illegal.

A great place for some wonderful dishes. Lovely warm reception on arrival . Food was delicious, flavoursome and good portions. Service we gave 5/5 even though on the night they were short staff but coped very well and kept us informed on times for our food.

A hidden gem. Called in here after reading some good reviews. Didn’t disappoint. Excellent food, very pleasant staff. Couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended if you like good Indian food.
