Delicious food and nice, attentive service. We especially enjoyed Gobi Manchurian and baingan bharta.

Original chef is bavk and the food is great now. Asians is the best Indian restaurant in Houston.

Service was excellent, by being attentive, warm and timely. Order two dishes- Gobi Manchurian (Dry) which was awesome with very little batter and well done, the other dish was veg briyani which was salty, oily and not fully cooked despite having decent amount of veggies. Plan to visit again to try non-rice dishes next time, due to their very good service.

The food was great, probably the best desi food in Houston. The service and ambience of the place were excellent, impeccable even.

Aloo Samosas was room temperature and not hot at all. Garlic Naan was tasty. Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo was amazon at a medium spice. If you like spicy, medium is a great spice level. I can take spicy food and this had my head sweating for sure. But I loved every bit of it. Vindaloo dish was my personal favorite this evening. Baingan Bartha, was good. I would definitely go back. Service was a little slow. With all the spicy food I needed lots of water. Overall the food was really good.

Ordered BOGO on uber, they gave the tiniest portion of food like kid size each curry was not even 2 oz. In container literally 2 pieces of chicken and all sauce and definitely overpriced first time and last time ordering here.

I must say the owners are very hospitable. Food tastes fresh. Naans are soft and fresh. We didn’t leave anything on plates. Must visit for good Indian food.

I've been coming here for 20 years through 3 owners and it's always been fantastic. We hadn't been there since last November only to find an empty dining room and a skeleton crew which included the new owner as our server. They were impacted by storms this year and were closed for repairs at times. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish everyone would give them a try. They now include Nepalese cuisine thanks to the new owner.

Got an order from Too good to go and it was soooo meager and light on food, felt like the owners were trying to game the system when they are supposed to be giving an extra amount of food. All I got was 2 small pieces of meat, 2 very small sides and rice. Was not even close to the advertised supposed value of foods. Wouldn’t come back for the app, warning to anyone that might be thinking of trying them for Too Good to go.

Previously I had written a 5 star review for this restaurant, but after our last visit, I feel like the new management has tried to cheat us. When the restaurant first opened, their buffet was a very reasonable $16.99 per person. A month later, they raised the price to $19.99 which is a standard price at many of the Indian restaurants. 3 weeks ago, the price was raised to $25.99. Two weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see the price drop to $19.99 again. Last week, I was charged $29.99 per person. When I confronted the owner, he said that there were special items on the buffet line. I didn't notice anything different. I talked with my wife about it, and she said she overheard another customer being charged $19.99. My wife called this Friday and asked for the pricing and was told it was $19.99. I called and was told it might be $25.99. When my wife confronted the women at the front desk on the phone about the mischarging, the women refused to deal with her. Finally the owner got on the phone and agreed to refund $20 from last week. Needless to say, we won't go back again.

I happen to order chicken biryani , pieces smelling like semi cooked and rice tasting salty, no future purchases

We had our brunch right after they opened at 11. The food was fantastic and it was a quiet atmosphere. I would love to come back!

I mostly pick up from this place with the “Too Good To Go” App and oh man the inside is beautiful The people helping you are extremely nice. My boyfriend came here one time with a friend to try their buffet and said it was hella enjoyable for the price. I’ve always been pleased with their food as well. Come and check out this hidden gem. Not too flashy on the outside but oh so beautiful on the inside. Totally worth your time and money to stop here to eat.

Everything is nice but the banquet space is a little small for 150 guests. This space would be perfect for 100-110 guests or less.

Excellent Food! We had Tandoori Chicken Tikka. (So tender and delicious ). Rice, paneer Porji , Garlic Naan. So good! Also enjoyed Salty and sweet Lassi.

The food was amazing and the service was oustanding. Everything was great the management also helped us take pictures and got us extra hot sauce when we asked. They were very cheerful and generous.

Hosted a birthday dinner and it was amazing! The host was the best!!

Excellent amount of spice if you ask for extra spice. Got the chicken 65 (extra spicy) and Himalayan Thali set (regular spicy) and the set could have been spicier, but I have heard that the regular spice on the curry items may be too much for some. Mango lassi and thandai were all good. If you don't order anything else, try the thandai. Service was as fast as it could be considering our party had at least 20 people.

I've been coming here for years and recently the management changed which initially was worrisome but ended up being a wonderful change. They accommodated our large group into a beautiful wine cellar room, made sure we were well serviced and happy throughout the night. The attention to detail and our happiness was phenomenal. Good service is hard to find nowadays but here it is alive and well!! Overall one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Houston, I recommend a stop!

The restaurant itself is quite lovely, the staff is extremely attentive and sweet. They are understanding as well. Food was generally good however some items didn't seem fresh but food was generally quite tasty.

genuinely the best indian food i have ever had. my mother has traveled the world and she agrees. the service was phenomenal, but i would come back for just the food regardless. the lamb korma and the butter chicken were to die for, the gravy was perfect and the meat perfectly cooked. not to mention the garlic naan. can't recommend it enough.

We visited the restaurant today and had a great experience. The ambiance is lovely, and I want to give a shoutout to Reba at the front desk for her excellent customer service. The entire staff, including a very polite lady and gentleman who is in white shirt, made us feel welcome. The pricing is fair, and it's worth. they offer a complimentary banquet room for parties, which is a nice touch. Additionally, they offer private rooms for those seeking a more secluded and intimate dining experience. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Lollipop and Mango Lassi, they are standout dishes among other tempting options on the menu. The restaurant truly excels in providing exceptional customer service, and we unequivocally recommend it for a delightful dining experience. We'll definitely be returning.

I recently visited Ashiana after 6 years, and I'm delighted to say that the quality remains outstanding. The food was delicious, the ambience was inviting, and Lakshmi, our server, provided excellent and professional service. Polite and attentive, Lakshmi made our dining experience memorable. My 1 st time to order at this restaurant and what a disaster. I wanted to eat Sarsoon ka Saag and Makki de Roti and so I placed the order, picked up the order came home opened the order and NO Makki de Roti, upon calling them they said that they don't have and thats why they gave me Naan so just eat it with Naan. Are you serious ??? No apology, no offer to make things right. I also ordered Dessert SO called Sukha Tukra, the bread they call TRES Leches was as stale as it gets, I called again to talk to the manager and asked her to go and taste and call me back. She did call back and went to say that the milk gravy was fine and that I should enjoy that....WOW WOW WOW. I called them because I am a small business owner and wanted to give them a chance to make thins right......but no. They don't deserve any business GRADE D

We recently visited the restaurant for a date night. Upon arrival, we were treated to a private room, where we received excellent service throughout the evening. The food was DELICIOUS! Staff were very attentive and helpful in making menu recommendations. They even sent us on our way with additional nann bread. Could not recommend more highly.

We enjoyed the food and the service ! My family met here for the first time last night, and it was so good, I had to leave a review! Our server Brandy was super nice and helpful with the menu. We all 6 Loved the samosa chat appetizer, the M4 (mushrooms) and Navarattan Korma! YUM! The atmosphere was very nice and Reba (manager/owner ?) was top notch. We will be going back :)

We ordered carry out through ubereats. The portion sizes are astonishingly small. The tandoori salad was three pieces of chicken with a tiny helping of salad greens. There is no way they would have served the same quantity for an eat in meal.

Went there for a dinner over weekday , food was good , specially ras malai . Roti/naan/breads are great as well only thing to improvise is Malai Kofta thats not actually right preparation for the same . But overall a great place to go will be visiting again 😀😀

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 'Ashiana Indian Restaurant’ and it was truly an exceptional experience. The cozy decor, soft lighting created a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, they were tasty and flavorful. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. They also had separate beer and wine tasting rooms with variety of collections which I personally believe is very cool & unique unlike other Indian restaurants. The customer service was great and the staffs were amazing. I would personally recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Nepalese and Indian dishes with both great taste & the ambience in the Greater Houston Area!

I live in a village 10 minutes from Long Bennington and have been okay eating a, now closed down, Indian for a decade, a short walk from home. I am annoyed that I have only just discovered Ashiana in Long Bennington. I recognised the name from often passing their lovely looking restaurant near Newark on the A1. Well, it's an impeccable takeout lounge, wonderfully attentive, friendly staff and I quickly became confident this would become our new go-to Indian takeout. At home, we could all tell this was a different league from our old Indian. The food was brilliant. So much fresher, tastier and well portioned than other takeaways. I 100 percent back up my recommendation, and we are looking forward, not only to another collection, but to paying a visit to the full restaurant for what I am sure will be a memorable sit down meal, watch this space! Stopped in for lunch and took advantage of their lunch buffet. Plenty of selections and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The rice pudding I had for dessert was delicious. The staff was friendly and the place is really clean.

We caterer for my client's wedding from Ashiana and the food was delicious. Favorite spot for Indian food. Their customer service is exceptional. I would highly recommend it!!

Ashiana is by far the best indian food I've had in this area and probably ever! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very clean and elegant. Everything tastes fresh and like it is made for the joy of the customer. The butter naan is always soft and warm, not tough at all. Their plain rice is always cooked to perfection with light seasoning that compliments the dishes its served with. This time I ordered the butter chicken and it is well seasoned, with adjustable spice level (medium wasnt too spicy, but just right!) and isn't greasy at all! The chicken was tender and tasty. The mixed vegetable pakora is also really good! I highly highly recommend this place! I've dined in and gotten taken out and both are consistently good!

this was my first time trying indian food and i am blown away. not only was the staff wonderful and sweet but the food was amazing. reba is the manager and she was absolutely delightful. they even gave us free dessert since it was my first time! highly recommend!!

The food at this place is really good! I really didn't know what to expect the first time I went. But the quality of the food really did it for me. Now, this is the first place I think about when I want to have Indian food!

Being a regular visitor to Ashiana, on this occasion I fancied something different but not sure what. So after a quick conversation with the manager, a Lamb Shatkora was recommended. What an amazing dish, such a rich sauce with lots of flavours without being to hot. Coupled with some really tender and tasty lamb it certainly was an excellent recommendation. I will certainly be ordering this one again.

This is an absolutely fantastic place for takeaway Indian.the food is superb,cooked to perfection with all the different flavours coming together perfectly,I cannot find fault with anything.The staff are always friendly and welcoming & love to have a quick chat while you wait for your food. The portion size is generous,which for us is a problem as it tastes so good we have to eat it all !!!! We would highly recommend this place for somewhere to enjoy an extremely good takeaway meal. Well it used to be good but prices high now and quality low. Customer service nil. Ordered a duck dish that was awful. I don’t like to complain but I did mention but all I got was sorry. It was chewy hard likely frozen meat. I This is the second bad meal. I will never go back. I do not recommend to people unless you have more money than sense.

One of the best meals I have had from a takeaway in a very long time; the food was high quality, full of flavour and delicious! The service was polite, friendly and inviting; it can be expensive to eat out and get takeaway, but if you are looking for an experience, not just a run-of-the-mill takeaway to treat yourself and your family, I would highly recommend it.

Popped in for a takeaway tonight. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Lamb Jalfrezi and loved it. Good spice and beautiful strips of lamb. Great friendly service too. What’s not to like. Definitely recommend it

We often have takeaways from here and each time I have to say the food is exceptional. Tonight , New Year’s Eve ,on what I expect to be one of the busiest nights, our order was complete, hot, tasty and on time. We placed our order the evening before ensuring a slot. The gentlemen on the phone was professional , pleasant and repeated the order to ensure all meals were correct. Cannot fault this place, often recommended but it’s even better when you recommend and your visitors say it was the best curry ever!

Just picked up a meal this evening and it was delicious (onion bhaji, lamb balti, chicken bhuna, mushroom bhaji, aloo gobi, nan and pilau rice). Phoned the restaurant to pay our compliments and would like to congratulate chef, Shimul Ahmed, on his lovely cooking.

Food portions are a little small for the price if you order to-go or dine in from their menu. Wait can be long sometimes, but other times they are pretty fast. Your best bet is to go during their lunch buffet. Lots of fresh and tasty variety of Indian food you can try, and it's all right there so no need to wait for menu items. In short, food is delicious and the buffet is worth it, the menu items are not.

Really enjoyed the food there and the service was quick and friendly. Getting the check, on the other hand, took longer than usual to the point that my wife and I were getting a bit impatient. But overall, it's a minor complaint and I will definately be going again.

My absolute favorite Indian in Houston! Service is impeccable, food is the highest quality, diversity of options on the buffet is nice. The tikka Masala is wonderful, as is, the vindaloo. Fried onion fritters are amazing especially dipped in their specially made tamarind sauce. Thank you for sharing your food with us!

We stopped by last night to dine in. We had been moving and didn’t realize how late it was-we had walked right in at close. The staff was so kind to offer allow us to place a to go order even though it was now after closing. While we waited for our food we had a lovely conversation with the staff. This is the kind of people I want to spend my time and money with-we will definitely return. Oh yeah-the food was great too. We had the Channa masala, samosa and garlic naan.

We couldn’t get into the restaurant as it was fully booked, tried the takeaway wasn’t disappointed. Foods just as nice as the restaurant. Amazing thank you.

Loved this place. Had thrown a baby shower party, Nabin was very helpful. Arranged everything that was needed. Food was outstanding. Slightly higher priced but its worth no one can beat the taste and quality.

After spending $40 on food I would expect it to be hot. Or for the samosa to be full. I received only the shells, and they were extremely dry. The rest of the food was decent. Great pick up service.

Most authentic INDIAN Restaurant I’ve found in Houston! After spending almost a year in India it’s challenging to find an Indian restaurant that hasn’t Westernized their food or is an Indian/Muslim food combination. As far as some folks complaining about long wait times, in India all dining is SLOW dining and it’s perceived as rude if the restaurant/hotel rushes you. My personal favorite dish here is the Chicken Bryiani and they only use boneless white meat in it as a bonus!
