Eastern Express Indian Takeaway in Swansea

My partner almost got knocked over by one of their delivery drivers pulling up outside the store at high speed. If you order from them, be aware of someone driving a car with the reg similar to WN06 RZN (I didn't catch it precisely)

it's been ages since had an Indian takeaway and decided on this place as had a few recommendations. We had 2curries, shared rice and chips, 2 naans a couple of poppadoms and a chutney tray. Cost £26. Expected a lot however was really disappointed, our curries were tasteless , no spice and tasted no better than I have had at a Wetherspoons on a curry night. Really disappointed, won't be using again

Lovely take away - never had a bad meal. Very tasty, good value and friendly staff. Very good choice on the menu. Name of take away now changed to the Cinnamon Tree

Freshly cooked (you can watch the chef's at work while you wait) and very tasty curries. Lots of options and reasonably priced. Now called The Cinnamon Tree, no longer Eastern Express!

We ordered a prawn purl and a lamb Pathia with a keema nan. I have never tasted sweeter curries ever in years of eating them the both meals tasted the same but the ridiculous sweetness ruined what taste there was the nan was half full which meant the second half was a plain nan, A total waste of money so don.t waste yours on this rubbish.

We got tired of our local take away so heard from a family member about the eastern express . We had our normal chicken dishes and extras and there was no cause for complaint as the food was of a good standard so well done to the eastern express crew we will definatel be going back.

We did arrive late but we should have been turned away. The food was warmed in the microwave and dry. The chicken was cold and the korma curdled. I am a chef and never again !!! Second time of trying

Always order from here, I recommend Chicken Balti and Chicken Korma. Friendly staff and food is always ready on time when I pick it up.

I have ordered from here a couple of times and the food is fantastic. The food is delivered quickly and has always been hot. Probably the best take out Indian restaurant that I have ordered from in Swansea. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a curry as I was new to neighbood and one thing was missing which there was a mix up. So the guy on the phones was lovely he rectified it and he also Insisted I didn't have to pay the extra. The delivery guy told me I had to pay the extra even though I was told I didn't have to pay the extra. I thought his customer service was abit poor. I did enjoyed the curry but I don't think il order again.

The title says it all really, Eastern Express offers the best curry in Swansea. Not once have we had a poor takeaway, and the delivery is brilliant, they always arrive when they say and the food is always hot, superb!

I've eaten from here twice and each time it's been spot on. Really recommend this place. Easy to order, ring in advance rather than turn up is the better option. Good price, the food is delicious and hot, temperature rather than spice. Great price.

Had several takeaways from this place now and what superb value for money. All orders freshly cooked and delicious with a large selection of Indian dishes with huge portions. Great service and prompt delivery.

Great staff and quick service, good portions and well priced. I have to say though it wasn't the tastiest curry I've ever had (Korma) but all the other dishes were good (naan, rice) apart from the chips that looked and felt like they'd been reheated. Will try again for sure as all the other reviews are good and I like to try different dishes.

I've been living away for the last 20 years. When I come home a good curry is a must with my mum, wow this really delivers on all fronts. Great service, generous portions and above all a taste sensation. Not a enough superlative can be given!!! All the best in the future for this amazing culinary delivery business.

This is the best Indian I have had, everything was cooked to perfection. It was amazing, the staff was so warming and welcoming and very friendly.

Four of us were completely full after fantastic food that was great value. Highly recommended! Staff were really friendly too which is always a bonus.

Heard that this Indian takeaway had opened so thought we'd give it a go I ordered for myself, partner and my 2 boys we weren't disappointed the food was stunning and the service was top class defo be using again

Quick without compromising quality. Generous portions. Friendly and efficient staff. Up there with the best! Only criticism is that they close at 9.30pm.

Came here on a Saturday to get a meal for the family and have to say probably the best indian i've had in Swansea! Really nice lads working there and will be visiting there again !!

Really delicious curry...tasted fresh, great portions. Best lamb biryani I've ever had. Lovely delivery guy too, will order again.

I have ordered from here a few times now and every time the food has been excellent. The naan breads are the best in Swansea and the meat in the lamb dishes is cooked to perfection, it melts in the mouth! The waiting times are very little and staff friendly when ordering. I like the fact that it's an open kitchen as well so you can see how the food is being made! Absolutely fantastic value for money.

The team at Eastern Express have done an amazing job, and have found THE gap in the market in Swansea West - a cracking Indian Takeaway that actually delivers!

Very friendly and informative staff. Delicious food and well price, they deliver too. Not so keen on the chips, skinny and under cooked but hey the main thing was that the curry was fabulous. Will be returning.

Just tried this fairly new takeaway, and it's up there with the best!

Today was my first takeout from Eastern express, Working 5 days a week in London and eating takeout a lot, I consider myself a bit of a curry connoisseur.

First time having food from Eastern Express earlier this evening. Food was very nice! it was ready on time and I was greeted by friendly staff which is always a positive. Highly recommended and I will be visiting again.

We've been looking for an excellent Indian takeaway for a few years in Swansea and this place ticks all the boxes. Everyone's curry was very tasty and hot. The naan and bhajis were delicious and it was ready in good time. Heartily recommended!

Just opened so thought i'd give it a try. I had a meal from here last sunday and was not disappointed. Very tasty and piping hot. Will be coming back soon
