The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Food was good but service was very slow. Took over 2 hours to get our main course. Had to ask for our order to be taken after 30 minutes

Very enjoyable, this restaurant is consistently very good, every time we're in Durham we go to this restaurant, we have had several take away meals and also eaten in the restaurant and every time it has been fantastic, great menu, very tasty and well presented and very well priced, staff are attentive, and friendly, well done guys we will be back.

The nicest chicken korma I've ever had! Have driven past many times but never tried them until now - the number of positive reviews helped with the decision and the food not only lived up to expectations but exceeded them. Despite it being only a takeaway, it was clean and comfortable inside while waiting and the staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely return for another korma in the future.

Just wanted an inexpensive curry the evening before an early flight from Luton and chose this because of its proximity to the airport hotel. Couldn't believe our luck! We had the place to ourselves, service was 5* and the food was absolutely delicious. Pickle tray had great variety, and the rotis and chapatis were lovely. Will have to think of an excuse to visit again :)

My favourite take out indian delivery food place. Had over 10 plus deliveries. Food always really nice. (Compliments to the Chef) Good portions . Always been delivered early or on time. My fave curry is the spicy chicken Tika special curry. Comes as a large portion. Mushroom Pilau Rice (Enough for two) With a chicken Tika starter. Always been excellent quality 👌 Jeff Foley

Disappointing as food was cold.

Got delivery New Year's Eve chicken tikka masala the chicken looked like it had already been chewed and the sauce was watery and cold the popadoms were chewy too insted of crisp. Extremely disappointed especially when asked for no coriander and there was coriander in things I ordered

The food was exceptional and the service was even better ,if that is possible. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the isle of Wight as in my short stay here on a work trip this was the highlight of my stay 😀 😄,

Food arrived promptly food was lovely until my son spotted some plastic inside his nann bread. Called to inform the they said it’s a mistake and thanks. No sorry or offer of new one bad customer service.

This is one of my favourite places in the world to eat. Yet another superb meal last night. PLEASE do come and try the Cochin Restaurant, it is unlike any other curry house I've ever been to in the UK. The flavours are so subtle, the cooking is exceptional. The service is first class. Every time is a pleasure!

Just had a takeaway and wanted to share with anyone that’s not tried it yet, food is delicious plenty of choice for a family who like different levels of spice. Honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else Calicut Biryani is plenty for 2 people, teenage grandson had the jalandhari and loved it, mixed pakora is a must and the peshwari nan is plenty for 3 people

First time back, in the new extended premises. Absolutely packed for a midweek night. Enjoyed the food, (Naga chicken tikka starter was especially a winner for me) but my only criticism was the lack of chutneys . . . There were three of us at our table, and the volume of chutneys, was barely adequate for one person, and lastly, the lighting . . . It was so dark in there, it was a struggle to read the menu!
