We've used Bay of Bengal before and although the food is very good, the delivery service is poor as all our meals have been more than 25 minutes late. We will order well in advance in future and suggest you add at least 20 minutes to the anticipated delivery time shown on the website. Ignore the restaurant rating - you have to put something in the review form to be able to submit it!

Once again absolutely beautiful, went to collect this time the people were so polite and friendly and the place was so clean and tidy. Can't wait for my next takeaway 😁😁😁

First time of using the Bay of Bengal and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. We both had chicken tikka main courses and the quantity and quality were the best we have had from a takeaway I would go as far as to say restaurant quality. The mains were a little highly spiced but we can ask for that changing on the next time. I would recommend the Bay of Bengal to anyone. Sorry no photos as just clean plates

Don't sure what you want on a Saturday night - try their Lamb Saag. Brilliant little takeaway run by the friendliest guys. There's a lot of competition in the area but well worth a try.

We ordered a take away curry recently from Bay of Bengal and the food was terrible. I eat quite alot of curry and have tried many different places in Bradford (Sultans is the best!) and around Huddersfield and Bay of Bengal has to be one of the worst. The sauce was bland and flavourless, the meat looked anemic and my partners dish was just as bad. Very dissapointing, how they are still in business serving food like that is a mystery! It wasnt cheap either, £27 for 2 mains, rice, a pickle tray and a starter. If only there was somewhere around huddersfield that served decent curry.. I live in hope.. On the plus side, it arrived very quickly and the delivery driver was friendly!

Been ordering from these guys for years..... perfect every time. Best samosas from anywhere and if you like it hot try the Naga Mirch. I love ghost chillis, Californian reaper etc. And their Naga is right up there..... but still full of flavour unlike some places. Keep up the good work guys :-)

Delivery was late (even though we are very close) - also £2.50 is too much to charge! Food was fairly good. Poppadoms were really good, but doubt I'll order again.

First time of ordering, delivery good. Chapatis didn't arrive, and the butter chicken wasn't very nice at all, disappointing for an order of nearly £40

The main meal was absolutely gorgeous however the starters weren't nice at all. My fish pakoras where full of grease i couldn't eat them and so where my friends starters. So I think they need to work on them for me to order again. Always fast service though and the curry was lovely

Superando un leve preocupación de algunas recomendaciones de amigos, sorprendentemente pobre nuestra comida llegó antes de lo previsto. Cordero era tan buena como jalfrezi jamás, similar podría decirse de la achari. No puedo comentar sobre el cordero tikka masala, pero plato vacío de mi hija te sugiero que este también estaba bien. No estoy seguro de lo que ha sido cambiado, pero por favor sigue! ! ! !

The curry, keema naan and seekh kebab not tasty at all. It was very spicy and that is good but the curry was not tasty and the keema naan was dry, and the seekh kebab was very bland, the mushroom rice and mint sauce were ok.

Very tasty food and nice and hot but delivery was a little bit of a wait. Very large portions though and good value for money. Would order again.

Good service, delivery etc, however the food was very disappointing, will definitely not be ordering again from said takeaway. A lot of the dishes tasted per frozen and were actually very tasteless. Not a happy customer. A waste of neally £30 quid.

Favourite curry spot in the Holme valley.. Always takes aslong as they say which is usually 20 mins. It's never cold it's always hot. We have never had any complaints to say about the food. They have never missed anything off our order. Food is simply beautifully cooked!

Poppadoms and pickle tray were really good. Lamb karahi was great. Tikka was a creamy dish which I didn't expect but was nice. Naan bread was one of the best I've had. Will certainly be ordering again!

This is the fourth time we have ordered a take out to be delivered, and this restaurant never disappoints. The lady on the telephone is very polite, and the food is excellent. I like my food hot (vindaloo), and consistently, I get what I ask for. Excellent. Highly recommended
