Jinnah Restaurant in Leeds

Asked for no onions and full of onion. This is normal order from this takeaway

Ordered over 2.5 hrs ago. Now we'll over an hour late. We were regular customers on Jinah. Not any more. terrible customer service, they can't even answer the phone to give a time for delivery. cCearly accepting way too many orders than they can'tcope with, so I'll do them a favour and reduce the future demand for them.

Order did not arrive, Jinnah did not answer the phone, not the first time either. Will NOT order from here again, shame as I have used these for a while now. They have had the last order from me, never again. GARBAGE. AVOID.

Wrong items and missing items as well as flat cold took well over an hour two arrive

Food was all really nice, however ordered a pickle tray which wasn’t delivered, rang up and was told they’d bring it but never did - spent £5 on 4 popadoms which we didn’t want to eat plain and also paid for the pickle tray which we didn’t receive.

food was amazing, a lil disappointed that the chips & poppadoms were missing... but apart from that, will deffo be ordering again! :)

I order from here a lot because the food is delicious but I really wish they would check the order before sending it out because there are frequently things missing or wrong, but otherwise, it’s great

The driver was sat on another street so when i received my food it was all cold

Delivery window was already a long time from ordering and then it arrived even later. Food was cold and poppadoms were stale. They did apologise for the lateness and put extra food in the bag, but I'd have much rather have just had the food I ordered, hot and of good quality. Not the first time we've had such issues.

Korma wasnt like korma. Spicy and dark. Small portions. Rice was hard

The delivery time was estimated at 1hr-1.15hrs (it was Valentine's Day), but it was delivered after approx 30mins - ideal. The food itself wasn't piping hot but it was spot on.

Food was near stone cold... had to microwave to eat it... fuming!! Ordered at 5:34pm for 7:45pm delivery and still didn't turn up til 8:52!! NEVER had such terrible quality, service or delivery from here.... so disappointed to say is an understatement

arrived very late, half the order was missing and what is here is cold!! can't get through to the restaurant either won't be ordering again!

Gusanos en arroz comprado para llevar. Pagué apenas cincuenta libras por un gusano y salsa. Incluso el restaurante estaba vacío. EVITAR A TODA COSTA

lovely food, but when I ordered a pickle tray, thought I would get some poppadoms, I didn't

£12 something for just the curry I found was a bit steep to say it was just a sauce with a few bits of meat in it the chapatti was crispy too chips were ok though and the rice was nice was just cold, in general the curry was nice was just so expensive for what you get I guess, loved this place years ago but recently I just feel disappointed I will however try it again incase the past two times I’ve ordered could have just been an off day

Beautiful and tasty food. Not too spicy, the naan bread while not too garlic, was one of the best. Loved it.

Very nice tonight. The last one I had was very dodgy but this was well made tonight. Full of flavour and the spices were just right. The spicy popadoms wasn’t great

The quality of food here is great - HOWEVER every order we have had from them has had items missing, they do send the missing items but it’s frustrating. You either have to eat with missing items or wait and reheat!!! I know 1st world problems but it’s one of the more expensive places for a takeaway. Just very Frustrating and sadly because of this we won’t be ordering again from here.

Naan was burnt and tasted sour

Food tasted good, and delivery was good but portion size on the special biryani was very very bad at £14- felt more of a large starter.

Not great tonight. Everything was soggy. The poppadoms were rubbery and the chips were wet through. It’s a shame because I’ve ordered from here a few times and it’s always been nice. But tonight it wasn’t good at all

Some of the food was missing so bit time they delivered it out the rest of the food went cold. I usually love ordering from here and never have an issue but tonight it wasn't nice at all. When both kormas did arrive too, they just didn't taste nice at all and like I said the rice and everything by then was cold. Not the experience you want not when you're paying £71 and you're a regular customer too

used this place for over 20 years never had an issue but this one was really bad hoping it's a one off won't stop me ordering again felt like no care was put in and was last nights walked up

The rice and vegetable platter came cold i had to warm up in microwave and the curry was only just about warm, it took a while to arrive after it said courier on the way our order was nearly £30 and had to warm the food up

Poor, hardly no chicken in the curry and the meat in the mixer starter was as tough as old boots

Lovely food really delicious, I was told grest things so was just what i expected, a good choice for my birthday mean. The rice and nann was quite cold on arrival but the curry's was warm enough, I assume busy Friday evening. Again beautiful food delicious 😋

Tuvimos muchas comidas de Jinnah, pero esta comida para llevar fue terrible. Carne inexistente, algo de carne sin cocinar. El pan Nan parecía como si se hubiera tirado junto. La ensalada que acompaña al entrante eran unos trozos de lechuga que parecían como si hubieran estado en la tina una semana. Comida fría a la llegada lo que está pasando solía ser lo mejor en East Leeds.

This order was not up to the standard of Jinnah. Something in the chicken was not cooked, salad looked as if it had been made a week ago. A chapati was missing the whole meal was the worst we have ever had from you.

30 mins over latest arrival time. Items missing, rang and told they’ll send them and expect 10-15 mins however I’m still waiting now and it’s 22:30!! Samosa’s don’t appear to be made fresh in my opinion and more like a supermarket oven cooked version. Poppadoms and chips soggy, however the main part, the curry (masala/balti) was good. Very poor customer service was told missing items due to being busy with 40% off then told due to delivery driver breakdown - at least use the same excuse.

Nos recomendaron este lugar por un grupo de amigos que estábamos sentados al instante, que era genial. empezamos con los popadoms y bandeja de pepinillos que tenían una gran variedad El servicio fue 10 / 10 tuvimos una gran charla con Sami el propietario que hizo nuestra noche especial y llena de risas Camarero Adeel era genial, así como el servicio con una sonrisa. La comida era absolutamente increíble, no es de extrañar que hayan ganado premios consecutivos con certificados colgando de la pared con orgullo. global Alimentos - 10 Servicio - 10 atmósfera - 10 Lo recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquiera y volveremos tan pronto como ! missed item off the order and portions aren't that great for the value of money. I'd say the food was standard.

Mike was so polite and respective of my property and in turn the time it was delivered. Jinnah's is where I will always go either delivery or in the restaurant.

Quite disappointed tonight. Didn’t seem like the normal great quality. All three curries were mainly sauce, nann was cold and hard and couldn’t eat the rajta as it was separated and unappetising. Not worth the money unfortunately

Although the food is top tier the portion sizes is absolutely ridiculous £8.95 for half a potion of chips and a ladel of sauce with 6 chunks of chicken in the portions used to be so much better it's such a shame aswell coz the food is beautiful

Missing 3 items of my order I rang them and they said they would sent it out straight away…an hour later I’m still waiting for rice and mint sauce? All my other food has gone flat cold because I’m waiting for other missing items. Chips were awful aswell no potato in them. Not happy at all i may aswell have thrown £30 in bin?

Meal was nice but 2 items (popadoms) missing from the order. - would have been too late to redeliver these as food would have been cold by the time to get here.

Pedimos esta noche como realmente quería curry y Jinnah ha sido mi opción también. Mi cena estaba desprovista de todo pollo por segunda vez en 2 órdenes. Es una pena ya que su comida suele ser increíble. No me malinterpretes, la comida sigue siendo buena, sólo le falta pollo.

There was very dry, chewy chicken and pineapple rather than banana. Only three lychees. Very onion like rice that was off putting. No updates on the site so had to call and delivery was a bit late

Food was with the driver for over an hour, came cold and our main had leaked into the bottom of the bag.

Shami kebab very dry and hard. Onion Bhaghi tasteless meat tikka, all sauce which was not nice and hardly any meat. Rogan Josh more tomato than chicken

they appear to of changed the madras recipe seems thick, we always loved curry from here but last time and tonight it wasn't the same don't think we will be ordering again now unfortunately as doesn't taste good anymore, cmon jinnah go back to your usual madras recipe please.

normally amazing but today no! cold and late and not what we even ordered. called and the staff were actually very very rude! no apologies at all for the delay or anything! disgraceful from a normally lovely place! shocking service and food today, very unhappy hungry customers...

unfortunately had to ring the restaurant ordered only from them because of the quality but this time the curry was very salty its never been like that before but the restaurant was very helpful though when I rang them I will be trying them again as its been 100 percent in the past

The food was on time but the curries were cold and the steamed rice was missing. They sent out another portion of rice but that was an hour after they'd originally brought the food. The food was awful. It tasted horrible. The curries were really watery and had no taste to them at all and like I said they were cold. I've never experienced this from Jinnahs and I've been a regular customer for years now. Very disappointed.

Always great service!!! Food is always lovely and warm!!! Couldn't ask for any better!!! Never order a curry from anywhere else besides Jinnahs.

Food arrived late due to the store been busy as advised by the gentleman I spoke to and the food arrived with he wrong order and cold AGAIN. This has happened the second time now will definitely will not be ordering again which is such a shame as we visit the restaurant regularly.

ordered 2 curry's but 1 of the curry's was nearly sauce about 4 small peices off chicken. for the price pretty bad

Beautiful as ever filled with flavours but not entirely happy I waited way over an HR for it but they was very apologetic over the phone & rang the driver for updates. Aside from that nice food, I had Rogan rosh & chicken tikka madras , the madras had a little kick too it not overwhelming at all so yet again delivered a good dish nice one guys I'll continue to order just please if you're running late keep me updated would be the nice thing to do many thanks

Loved the food from here but the only disappointment I had towards it is the food wasn't that hot & they had forgotten my big bottle of cola unfortunately but aside from that the curry was best I've had in a long time packed with tons of flavours and all fresh and the meat tender - I had the rogan josh chicken tikka - all cooked to my liking will be ordering again thanks compliments too chef

Thank you for an amazing evening for a belated Mother’s Day meal, food was just perfect, staff were friendly, relaxed atmosphere, you never fail on expectations Jinnah, amazing experience all round, thank you again :-)

This little gem is on my doorstep and its been here for 25 years or more and we are so happy it's in our neighbourhood.. Thank you too all the staff at Jinnah York Road Leeds 😀

Ordered a big order. £40 worth of food. Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Rang up twice after the expected delivery time and I kept getting the same answer “ driver will be with you soon”. When my food did finally arrive. All 4 sauce tubs were broke and spilled over everywhere on the rest of my food so my chips and bread was soggy with sauce on them and all the food was ice cold. First and last time ordering
