Our experience was extremely unpleasant. We ordered food from this place for Holi, but ended up with upset stomachs and headaches after eating. The rice was undercooked. I cannot recommend this caterer, and I would rate them negatively.

Hi I haven't had a dinner at this place so I can't actually rate the food. The restaurant is on a main street and easily accessible. The restaurant is still being renovated. Other wise looks okay. I know the owner of the restaurant as she is from Maharashtra India and cooked some Jawari parata and Thalipit, and zunaka also. It was good.

We had our 10th anniversary party their and everything was soo perfect. All our guests were very happy and they all really liked the food. Staff is also very helpful.

One of the worst restaurants in Manchester. Food was awful. We attended a Diwali party last week. The toilets were not clean, even telling the staffs they were not bothered. Several families were sick after having food from Saffron.

Been there for team lunch with clients. Food was just great. If you missing Indian taste then this place is for you. FOOD here tastes just like India and quantity is also good. They have aaloo bhaji..paneer starters..Chicken..lamb.. everything. They served us chocolate Samosas, gulab jamun with ice cream and many more dessert. The lady owner is very cute and friendly. Do visit if you are here nearby.

Celebrated a birthday with work and the food and service were incredible! Food was cooked fresh with good size portions. The owner and staff went out of their way to serve us and provide our order. I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi. A top night!

I ordered food here for small function at home and it was take away the service was too good I received it in time. From starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. I have to say all the guest and the myself enjoyed every single bite of the meal.Both quality and quantity of the food was really good. The service we received was amazing and I will definately recommend to everyone! I would like to taste the food here again and again.

I always have a chicken tikka masala whenever I visit an Indian restaurant, but have never had one as good as the masala I have eaten here. Five star food for sure!

Hidden gem as they say. The service was brilliant. The food is authentic. Spicy, so if you have issues with that then let the staff know. But the taste was far superior to your normal run of the mill Indian restaurant. The mango lassi was nice. Nan bread so super thin and fresh. Ignore the location.... give it a try!

I took my boys along to Saffron Spice Cheadle heath midweek expecting the usual acceptable result of local Indian restaurant having eaten in over 120 Indian restaurants across UK 🇬🇧 (would return to just 5) Always wanted+ hoped for something local ,finally found it here just totally on another level poppadom + sauces so fresh , samosa Onion bhagi , beyond words 😃🍛 main course. Chicken korai , paneer dish tried yet again unbelievable,again on a another level this with 1st class service+ the owner so attentive made a just fantastic night thank you so much Sonai To the waitress + amazing chef + looking after Me + my boys will return here regularly in a heart 💓 beat just Blown away .🍛🇬🇧🇮🇳

Thank you Saffron’s Spice for providing the catering at our 15th Wedding Anniversary Party in Handforth yesterday. The food and the event management was amazing. We particularly liked the Pani Puri stall and Mango Lassi stall at the reception and the Fish Tikka main course which was outstanding. We look forward to more events with you in the future 🙏

We booked a table following rave reviews from friends who had visited the restaurant. There were 11 of us dining and we have to say that the food has to be up there with any other Indian food we have eaten (most of the family are Indian). We will definitely be going back and highly recommend a visit. Not only was the food amazing the staff (especially the owner) are professional and friendly. A great service all around. Only a small place that lacks a bit character. Could do with a bit more authentic Indian Decor. Thats why i only gave it a 4, But apart from that fine. The owners is a bundle of energy & very friendly. Staff fine. But its all about the food. Every thing we ordered was excellent. Onions bhaji starter o tasty. The mixed meat platter was out off this world. We finished it off with a butter chicken curry for my wife & i had a a chicken karahi which was hot but not that hot that you couldnt taste the ingredients. All in all excellent. Will be going again 👍🏻

Without question one of the best currys ive ever had! Quality authentic indian cuisine at its best! The lady who owns the place was delightful and nothing was to much trouble. We sat in for the restraunt experience and im so glad we did - we will definitely be back soon!

Been here couple of times but always they failed the expectations. Booked a brunch for about 15 ppl, with big pro. Issues, we had to wait few hours for our, while chana were out since we went Same thing with other items such as dosa etc. We felt idlis were cooked a day before and warmed up in microwave. It's good value for money, with few options but don't set your expectation too high.

We have been to Saffron spice for the weekend brunch..The food was super duper delicious and had many dishes to try on.The spices and taste reminded us of India. The staff provided a great service and had been helpful in all aspects. The ambience is beautiful and have been well maintained. We have enjoyed our visit to this place and planning for next visit soon..Definitely recommend this place and food is a must try..

I have been to Saffron Spice twice, both the times for brunch buffet...they offer so much variety at decent price..I loved the Gujrati delicacies they offer - Sev Khamani, Fafda - the fried green chillies that came with fafda tasted so yummy - were cooked to perfection, very authentic taste. .had just the required punch...chole paneer and bhatura was not oily at all.. my son loved the Indo-Chinese dishes. ..the cherry on the top is the hostess, she gives personal attention to everyone who eats there.. I will be coming back to this place! Thank you Sonal and team for a wonderful Sunday brunch!

I would highly recommend Saffron Spice to anyone looking for Indian restaurants serving authentic flavourful food. The food here was amazing for both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Sonal called to welcome to the area which was very thoughtful.

Had our first visit to Saffrons Spice tonight, despite just living round the corner. Was warmly welcomed by friendly staff and the owner Sonal, even treating us to free poppadoms as it was our first visit, nice touch. Food was very good and a bit different from your typical BIR.

Located in Cheadle in an unassuming row of businesses on the A560, Saffron Spice is certainly worth a visit with return value. Very good contemporary and traditional Indian food with very good table service.

Great friendly welcome. Set menu for a party of 8. Starters very tasty full of flavour and succulent chicken and lamb. Mains were fantastic. Great service from all the staff. Highly efficient and would definatly recommend giving it a try.

We ordered food from the takeaway menu. I ordered a chicken tikka masala however when it arrived it had no sauce at all. One of the guests in our group was non dairy so it is possible that the lack of sauce was due to a misunderstanding. It is also possible that they accidentally gave us a chicken tikka starter instead. Even so, the chicken was really dry - the flavour was great in fairness but the texture of the chicken prevented it from being enjoyable . My wife also ordered a chicken Karachi, which when it arrived was lamb (it said chicken on the box but was quite clearly lamb). All in all the flavours were fairly good - hence the 2 stars rather than 1, but we felt let down by the quality. Having seen some of the previous reviews it feels as though our order was just handled carelessly.

Had Saturday brunch for the second time today. Very good. Worth the visit and money.

I don't normally bother with reviews but I had to say something about this place. Had a meal here last night and the food is outstanding. A Dosa to start with wonderful chutneys especially the coconut one. A methi Chicken and a Lamb dish for mains - both were incredible A nice thin Romali roti and mushroom rice - which in itself was good enough to eat on its own. Should be treasured!

Every bite is incredible. Best food I have had in a long time. There is a brunch on the weekend, which I'd highly recommend so that you get to try more of their amazing food. The takeaway is very good, but the restaurant experience is even better. Friendly and attentive service - I'm already planning my next visit.

Went for opening day breakfast / brunch buffet. Waste of time and money. Had a reservation for 2 PM , but got a seat only by 2:30. Half of the items on buffet / brunch menu were unavailable/ finished already. The food quality and taste both were regrettable. The only good part was the host who was trying her best to keep things under control. But with poor quality food and unavailable items .. simply left a bad impression.

Honestly the greatest dining experience I have ever had in England. Firstly, the staff are so welcoming and hospitable. On a number of occasions I felt as if they were part of my own family. The food was impeccable and immensely delicious and the menu had a wide variety of options to suit any allergies or preferences. Hygiene is not an issue and there is a party hall which makes a great area to host a party for 30-40 friends. I strongly recommend Saffron’s Spice to anyone who wishes for a nice experience in an Indian restaurant.

Hi! I’m glad to share my experience with Saffron Spice. I’ve got the “Ghar ka khana” feel with the Jeera rice and Dal Tadka after a long tiring flight journey. I would say the samosas are a must try and panner tikka biryani is so fresh and flavorful. And of all, the host Sonal ji is no kind and friendly.. 😍

Valentines lunch was delivered at 7 in the evening....the food was cold and not good....we waited for lunch since 1 but have to have that food at dinner....very disappointed with the service and food....no consent was taken and no advance information was given...even the order was taken via whtsapp only ..

We ventured to order a takeaway, our first since lockdown began and, we weren't disappointed at all. Sonal and Kanti take personal interest and are very passionate about there service they go the extra mile. The food was delivered on time as they had committed and it was straight from the kitchen. We didn't waste a moment and tucked into our food. My 2 year old polished her Garlic Naan with ease and me and wife couldn't have enough of chilli paneer for starters. We had ordered two curries and fried rice for mains and they were lovely, just what was needed to get holidays started for Christmas. Well done Safforn Spice, top job!! Will back ordering soon. Had our first takeaway from here since changing management and the food was incredible! We will definitely be ordering from here again. If I had to pick anything it would be that we both found the level of spice was higher than anticipated but this was not a negative not me, but my wife found her regular 'go to' a bit too hot.

Hands down the best takeaway we have had for a long time ! Being Indians ourselves nothing but the best will do ..and this restaurant certainly ticks all boxes! Will definitely order again!

I had a take out after hearing good reviews and ordered 2 curries, 1 chicken and 1 veggie along with 1 chicken starter...both the curries were not that great and I would not order them again... The starter was pricey and again not the one I would order and pay again... So overall this would be my first and last order with these guys... I have not tried chats and they may be gud but I would not dare to spend my money and get disappointed again...

Staff didn't understand the menu. Food was ok quality when it came. We ordered tea and coffee but five minutes after ordering were told they had none.

We tried the takeaway food recently and it was excellent. Menu was limited but it was pre-opening so can understand. Food both veg and non-veg was tasty and authentic. Service was really good - nice family run restaurant. I can't comment on interiors as did not use the restaurant. If you can make the food with less oil that would even excellent as it would appeal to health conscious customers.

Ordered via just eat, was told it would take 45 mins. 1 hour 20 mins later the food arrived cold. I ordered a lamb dish, the meat was not lamb, had the taste and texture of beef. I've been eating from here for over two years and have generally been very impressed. Will not be using them again.
