The best restaurants serving Greek food in West Midlands

Used to go to the Leopard regularly, but won’t be going again. Firstly I had a real problem getting children’s menu. I went to the waiter to ask for one and was told they did a children’s menu but I could not have it. It didn’t make sense. I asked why and was told that i wouldn’t be able to order from it, it was company policy. I then asked how was I going to order for my 18 month old granddaughter, and then was given one! No vegan main so ordered the only thing i could; a starter with a tossed green salad and chips. Obviously short on salad as the tossed green salad comprised of cabbage, peas, broccoli and sun dried tomato! Then went to order the pudding that went with the child’s menu and they charged £3. I was told (by the same rude waiter) that I should have ordered this at the same time as the main - it ‘clearly says this on the menu’. he couldn’t then find this on the menu and nowhere does it say on the children’s menu that pudding is an extra £3. His excuse was that it is a new menu. Food average at best. Chips were good is the only positive. So disappointed with the way we were treated. what has happened to the Leopard?!

The best Greek food in whole Coventry . The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. There was a musician playing Greek songs! Love the atmosphere! and will be back very soon!

Very disappoint, this place use to be great but this visit the chips were cold and hardly cooked, and the most disappointing that there was hardly any meat on the order, for amount it cost, you guys need to do better, we won’t becoming back sorry to say

I had a wonderful evening here with friends; great food, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious: fresh, hot, and authentically Greek! The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating. A beautiful venue that made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend!

Ego is a pleasure to visit. Staff are personable, friendly, welcoming and attentive, and every member ‘knows the menu’. Location is great, with a view of the cathedral’s spires as a backdrop. The place feels very light and airy, too, which is nice, and it’s always clean and fresh. The menu is, as described, pan-Mediterranean has a good choice and they are very aware of allergies and dietary needs. Ambience is relaxed, service attentive - a great balance. A couple of words of advice: parking can be a bit of a challenge. Lichfield is under-provided for in this regard, so although there’s parking adjacent to the restaurant, it can get very busy; some sat-navs show Ego at the wrong end of Bird Street, so it’s worth checking. Over the years of my visiting Ego, I’ve never once been anything other than delighted. Long may it continue.

First time here, but will be back. The food was great, the staff very friendly, it was warm and welcoming and toilets were spotless. My wife is coeliac and she was well catered for with lots of options and the staff understood the requirements. Definitely recommend

Moved local and thought give this place a try for family meal as I had seen it many times but had never been - All I can say is I will certainly visit again as the food was superb and we had great service.

Τουαλέτες που μυριζαν δημόσια ουρητηρια, πάτωμα που κολλούσε από τα λάδια, πλαστικά λουλούδια, απαίσια μυρωδιά. Αυτά πριν έρθει το φαγητο...επειτα δεν υπάρχουν λόγια. Τα πιο πεταμένα λεφτά που πλήρωσα

Went to this restaurant last night with my partner and we had a lovely meat platter. Our waitress Des was most helpful recommending great cocktails and desserts. We will be returning!

We was shopping and decided to eat here, both ordered the pork skewers which was cooked fresh and came with salad, chips, bread and sauce, my partner had one which was marginally pink and I took it back, they was very apologetic and although I asked just to change one skewer of meat they brought a platter with 4 extra with chips etc to apoligise, great service, nice staff and great attitude to the customer

We stopped for a quick pint and were delighted with the pub. Log burner was on and had a delicious pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Looking forward to going back. Cheers!

I am regular customer for many years, the food is always fresh, flavoursome, cooked to perfection fresh and accompanied by generous sides,I would give them 10 stars if I could. There is a wait sometimes because each order is cooked to order, but isn't it worth the wait for good food? In line with the current cost of things, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always excellent. I particularly enjoy doner kebabs because they are thinly cut and cooked to perfection. In all these years I have never been disappointed with the quality and service. Today we have ordered chicken sheesh and battered fish, taste was so good that i couldn't resist myself from writing a review.
