What an amazing pub/resturant! Great food and welcoming staff made for a fantastic experience. The ambience in the restaurant side is lovely, cozy fires for the colder days, and the large outdoor space is perfect for the catching the sun. Highly recommend!

Felt like a second class citizen as not there for a funeral wake. Waited and ignored before being served. Wanted to eat but decided against it. May try again at a different time and day

Decided to stop randomly on our way to our hotel for business. Food was amazing and service was extremely friendly and fast. The first properly cooked prawns i’ve had in a restaurant, Chef clearly knows his stuff. Great little place!

Sadly, now under new ownership resulting in inflated prices, smaller quantities and reduced menu. On another note, when querying the bill, it appeared a Service charge had been added without approval! All good things.....

Very impressed with the food here. We had the pan-fried trout, butchers bangers, and open goats cheese lasagne. Highly recommended

Service and staff were exemplary

The Leapord has changed a lot over the years, it now has a high end feel and the menu options reflect this. Loved that it's dog friendly! The melting Camembert burger is SO GOOD, highly recommend. Also had the goats cheese open lasagne which wasn't very fulfilling. Didn't taste bad but just didn't feel worth it. Service was super slow, we waited an hour between ordering food and being served (no starters) - it was first weekend of December so not sure if this is standard or Christmas pressure.

BEWARE Food not of good quality and overpriced. For some reason at the end of our meal, the staff all disappeared. When i wnt to the bar to pay i found the waiting staff deep in conversation behind the bar. This place used to be on our favourites list but no longer. To add insult to injury I found that a service charge of £25.13 had been applied.

The leopard is a nice pub to go for office dinners. I came here for an office dinner and it was a great experience. The ambience and food is great.

Recently dined at The Leopard had the most pleasurable meal I've had for quite some sometime the service from waitress polite and friendly. Definitely will return. 💯

Most disappointing. Both of us ordered the duck confit cottage pie. We waited almost an hour. Very nice presentation BUT the confit was minimal as was the potato. The parmesan was absent and the gravy turned out to be bisto which completely obliterated the taste of the duck. When asked if we enjoy the meal we told the waiter exactly what we were given. He made no comment. Full charge. £60+ for the 2 main courses. We declined any dessert. Daylight robbery.

We recently dined at The Leopard, and while the food was decent when it eventually arrived, the experience left much to be desired. Service was okay at best, but the long wait for food—over an hour—really dampened the visit. During that time, no one checked in with us to see if we were okay or offered any updates on our order. A notable issue came when ordering our mains with side included. We specifically asked if there were any extra charges for the truffle fries and were told by the waitress that they were included with the main. However, when the bill came, we discovered otherwise. When we raised the matter, the waitress tried to shift the blame onto us, suggesting it was a misunderstanding on our part. This felt unprofessional and left a sour taste after an already prolonged wait. While the food itself wasn’t bad, the combination of delays, lack of attentiveness, and the awkward handling of the misunderstanding made the overall experience less enjoyable. Unfortunately, it’s not a place we’d rush back to.

We had pub grub standards, sausage & mash and Fish & Chips, both of which were really well cooked and quality ingredients.

Was there for a wake and the staff were fantastic Don't know what the food is like but they had zero alcohol peroni which was great

Disappointing. Had lunch with my partner, I ordered the fish finger sandwich. I asked for brown/granary bread for my sandwich only to be told it comes in a brioche bun, didnt say this on the menu. My partner asked what cheeses were in the ultimate cheesy toastie, just one was the reply, hardly ultimate then. We ordered the drinks prior to ordering the food but was not told about the lumch offer of free drink with sandwiches, of course, we ordered drinks that didnt qualify. The fish finger sandwich was ok, the toastie, very greasey. Overall there is a vast choice of food however it is very over priced for what it is. Wont be going back.

Mmm, we’ve been visiting The Leopard regularly for a number of years but gotta say the jury’s still out since the refurb & takeover. Paid nearly £14 for a glass of Chardonnay (I wasn’t given the option of a much better value-for-money house alternative) and still trying to work out what ‘all the trimmings’ are on the chapter roast dinner. Apart from one extra slice of meat, the dinner is exactly the same as the cheaper single meat dinners. Surely ‘all the trimmings’ should mean exactly that. The place was empty on this particular Sunday evening when previously we’d have struggled to get a seat, and we get the distinct impression maybe people are voting with their feet. The staff & management team are excellent and always have been; here’s hoping their wings haven’t been clipped so much that the pub loses its individuality so it merely becomes just ANOther chain pub.

I have visited twice since the refurbishment and have been so disappointed both times .The first time when the starters were delivered the sausage roll was ridiculously small and certainly not worth 6.50 .Today I visited for lunch and had soup .It was utterly surreal when the soup came out it resembled a packet soup mix from the supermarket as it was so watery !!We are locals and frequent the pub fairly often please sort this new menu out it's not good !!

We love the Leopard and the refurbishment of the restaurant is a lovely improvement. We are sad to see there is no longer a sofa to cuddle up on by the fire :( We had the pork dish for our main course it was really tasty but the portion size has changed and it was just too small...we don't have huge appetites but we both felt hungry after we had finished eating.

Very nice pub, food was great and service even greater. As a Belgian who is on a trip I can only say that if every pub here in England is as good as this one. I will be coming back more often!

Is always nice there. Have a German Shepard that can be nervous at times but everyone there is very nice with her. Zena does like it there. Staff and managers are always very friendly. A great team.

I've been here three times now and had very good food every time. This coming from someone that hasn't grown up in the UK. You find your traditional pub dishes but with higher quality ingredients. One of best pubs in the area!

Our first visit since the refurbishment We had heard mixed reviews but they were unfounded The decor is amazing and the food was excellent. We had a very reasonable priced bottle of wine and drinks and we will definitely be returning soon The service as always was the best

Great meal - amazing steak and chips. We visited on a Thursday evening and so nice to find a busy pub with good atmosphere. The staff and service were friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Very disappointed with the poor service and lukewarm food. The first issue was that we were given a table with no lighting. Staff useless and we had to move ourselves. Seared seabass nice but only just warm enough and served with only a few veg. Staff had to be chased to clear our plates. Then the sticky toffee pudding was too cool as had been left with ice cream on top! Service all night was very slow. Not recommended at all.

Nice enough venue, decent food, but horrendously bad service. We were at our table for two hours before the food arrived. While awaiting our entrees, the server asked if we wanted dessert. She didn't realize that we hadn't even seen our meals yet. We were there for a total of three hours. Interesting, given that we were originally told that we couldn't hold the table for longer than two hours!

Came down for lunch and a catch up with a few friends, definitely worth visiting! service was outstanding, all waiters were very professional as well as catering to our every need. Food was delicious, presentation of the meals aswell as the wait time was excellent! All staff were very welcoming and had great communication! Would definitely recommend for food or even for a drink!

Not vegan friendly. It used to be a nice pub, its since been taken over by the Stonegate pub group. Whilst the garden/décor/atmosphere is still nice, the overall experience isn't what it used to be. We ordered 5 vegan Sunday roast meals, only 4 were available (so advisable to pre-order food with a large party, if you have specific needs). The alternative offered was a vegan burger and salad without the bun, as they had also run out of buns. The meals came out with Yorkshire puddings, which as it turns out were not vegan, the waitress had previously exclaimed "oh I never know the difference between vegetarian and vegan", which I thought at the time was a joke, but seems to be the case for all the staff, including the people in the kitchen. They were quite unapologetic about the matter, and so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with severe allergies or even mild intolerances, since they seem to be quite incompetent when it comes to correctness in the kitchen, and they don't seem like they care about such things. The place is expensive, the beer was below average and came out weirdly cloudy, looking more like a milkshake than a pint, the wine tasted a bit fishy (perhaps the glassware?), the vegan meals are not very well balanced, in terms of being equivalent (where's the protein? why is the plate so empty??), but they are certainly equivalently priced, and my potatoes had lots of black bits in them, which I would've cut out if it were me prepping bad veg.

What used to be a great place with a wide selection of good food at reasonable prices is now VERY expensive for mediocre food.

New look and menu is amazing. I had the Sunday roast which was perfectly cooked and the Yorkshire puddings were perfect thanks

Lost booking, returned beer and a long wait for tepid food. Limited menu. Whilst staff were friendly and apologetic nothing was done to fix any issues. No side salad or garnish. Overall experience was poor for the price. We are locals to the pub and found the food to be far better before this new menu. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

My colleagues booked a table here for my leaving do which was really nice of them. We were all looking forward to eating here. Started off okay, however, the whole time we were pushed and rushed with ordering, eating and leaving. Kept being asked if we're finished with our food when we evidently weren't and got annoyed when we said we were still eating. They were stalking like hawks the whole time because they had our table booked for 20 people later on. They claim our table was booked for only 1.5 hours. Please tell me how you expect a table of 17 to eat 3 courses within 1.5 hours and clear the table for then 20 people. Those 20 started arriving and also stood and stared at us all whilst we were eating dessert. Also can I say we were only at the table for 2 hours when finishing dessert. Staff checking their watches in front of us constantly. My friend asked the manager for some tap water and she Umm and Ahhd at her and said "the issue is our table of 20 are already here sooo"?? Extremely rude. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time. The price that they charge for the food you'd expect a good service but it's not worth it. I want to say that the young staff were brilliant and our main issue was the manager as she was extremely blunt, pushy and rude. It's not our fault that they had poor management/organisation. When paying, the manager then said in front of us to the table of 20 about how it was our fault they were delayed having their table. It honestly ruined the whole experience, I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before and it's really upset us all. Especially as these other people had very good service in comparison. One of the girls did come and apologise for how her boss had spoken to us which I do really appreciate. A shame really. Weirdly since they've renovated I've only heard bad experiences :(

Now I've only given this a 3 start because we'd heard this had reopened and had both not eaten to try the "new place" out but, despite there being lots of posters, coasters advertising and signs up, there was no bar food available. We appreciate that this was a soft opening (some bookings for restaurant food was available). However the place has been done up to a great standard, the staff were friendly and I'm sure we will review when food is available.

I recently visited The Leopard, and the refurbishment is absolutely stunning! The new design is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax. On top of that, the food was amazing! Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Whether you're popping in for a casual drink or sitting down for a meal, this place really delivers. Highly recommend checking it out after the renovation!

Couldn’t fault this place absolutely marvellous from the staff to the food to the atmosphere was amazing. Will be back soon.

Lovely gastro pub within easy reach of Warwick and Leamington. I had a fantastic pork platter which was incredible value and super tasty. Would definitely visit again to sample more of the varied menu.

Enjoyed a really great lunch here with some work colleagues. A large choice of food options in a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Lots of space outside and inside there was a variety of different seating areas as well as the restaurant. Only downside was the ladies toilets which had some issues with one of them constantly running, not ideal, and only 3 of them anyway.

Sadly we were there for a family funeral, however, the service from all staff was excellent. The food proved at the wake was very good.

The food was great and the staff friendly, it just took a while for food to come out for some of the party.

Wonderful pub for drinks food and to relax really aire open place this place will ensure you problley won't eat again in the same day large meals very good food

18 of us went to the Leopard to celebrate my wife’s 80th birthday, we pre- ordered our starters and mains which proved to be very successful as there was only a short wait, after all the family had arrived, when the starters arrived, all as ordered. The mains arrived in a timely manner as well and again all piping hot and exactly to order. All the food was well presented and the staff very friendly and polite ensuring everything was okay. Couldn’t fault our experience and will certainly be visiting again and if a family gathering then pre- ordering is certainly the way to go.

Great spot for a beer, lovely outdoor seating

The location is great and staff welcoming, whilst the pub itself is starting to feel a little drab, care and attention to maintenance of fixtures and fittings doesn't seem to be there which is a shame. I visited for a meal which turned out to be somewhat disappointing, the tuna special steak was overcooked and accompanying vegetables under seasoned. There are better alternatives nearby, for the foreseeable we'll be sticking to those.

The main positives were the beautiful pub itself and the friendliness of the staff. But the experience overall was very disappointing, especially the food quality and the slow service. We were a party of four, and two ordered the “artisan bread” for a starter. It really was no better than a few supermarket quality rolls that had been warmed up. Another of our party had the mushrooms in peppercorn sauce. It was a bit “hunt the mushroom” smothered in a horribly salty sauce, with whole peppercorns thrown in. Almost 30 minutes after we’d finished starters no one had been over to take our plates, let alone bring our mains, so I had to go and find a staff member, The mains were ok, but no more than that. I had a Niçoise salad with a seared tuna steak. The tuna was lovely. The salad was ok, but I expect anchovies and potatoes in a Niçoise. Similarly, one of our party had the Greek salad. Again it was ok, but we all agreed that a Greek salad must include onions. These small things matter. Pubs around L/Spa are good for us to meet up, as the town is equidistant between our two locations. Sadly this isn’t one we’ll be using again. That’s a shame as it’s a beautiful pub.

Visited the Leopard with family and friends for dinner on Saturday night . Fantastic welcome . Really friendly . Lovely table in the restaurant looking out towards the garden . Great menu and prices . Drinks came out quickly and our food order taken . Everything was presented really well , was hot ( if needed to be ) and on really nice china . All the food , starters , mains and puddings were very tasty . Everyone enjoyed it. One of the things that stood out for me though was that even though it was a young serving team every single one of them was polite and friendly . They really did a great job and I was very impressed

My girlfriend had the best vegan food she has had in a long time by having two starters.

Very disappointed with Sunday lunch today. Roasts were soggy as was my nutroast. Food arrived lukewarm and my partner who had asked prior to ordering whether the pork came with crackling, the reply was yes but he never received any. The gravy was absolutely awful. No-one came to ask " how is your meal". We mentioned that we were disappointed when the server came with my coffee towards the end of the meal but again no-one came out see us about it. We were given the bill for the full cost which we paid. I asked to speak to the supervisor, who apologized and offered a free drink which we declined. We have been many times before and have always had a good experience.

I had really high expectations of this pub. Friends had said it would be good. So off I went. Booked online, website promised much. In the end, not overly impressed. Sat in what appears to be an extension. Atmosphere was flat, presumably quieter than usual because of England playing. Service was good. Then the food took a while but arrived. Had a chicken pie which came with a gravy. Had to check what the gravy was made of as some serve beef stock which I'm allergic to. Took 3 efforts to get the attention of staff. Got told it was vegetable stock but then was gruffly asked why I was asking. Didn't need the attitude. Explained why. Bizarre reaction. The vegetables and mash were good, the pie bland. I also noticed customers having to walk to the bar in another part of the pub to get refresher drinks and yet I counted 6 members of service staff...? All in all not as good as expected. Won't be returning. A shame as it's relatively local to me. Don't like being negative as it's tough out there, just being honest.

We had lunch here during the week and really enjoyed the whole experience.

Lovely staff atmosphere and lovely garden area

Lovely experience for a group evening meal. The duck is particularly nice. Service was friendly, but a bit of a wait to get the bill and then to pay. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming - all who attended our group enjoyed their meal and would visit again.

We popped in for lunch for six with no booking, and were immediately welcomed and found a table. The range of dishes was really good and the quality high.

Food was very tasty and different options

We went to the leopard at 9:30 on the basis it shut at 11 and after paying top end prices for our wine, we were being told to leave at 22:30. The friends of staff were still sat indoors with full pints and me and my son were told to down our malbec and get out despite having a sip or two left. A bit disappointing on a Saturday night.

Had an excellent experience. Prompt service and the greek salad was superb. Restaurant was busy, but service was swift. Will definitely be back.

Food very good, hot, well presented, etc. Where as you can get good in a lot of places, what was out standing was the staff, from the minute we arrived they where pleasant and attentive. Amelia was our waitress and was so accommodating and efficient we would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Amelia.

Visited the first time a couple of weeks ago with a friend and took family today. Once again the food was absolutely lovely! Mixture of Chicken, Duck and Pork dishes were ordered. So fresh and cooked to perfection, desserts were the Raspberry and White Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding, Plum Crumble and Ice Cream, all in our party were more than satisfied! Lovely atmosphere and the staff were really accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be a regular! Thank you

Turned up on bank holiday Sunday, without a booking however the staff were really friendly and we were seated without an issue. Ordered the sirloin steak with salad and chips, expecting a bit of lettuce but I got decent bowl of Caesar salad, which was actually delicious! The chips were cooked to perfection and the steak was amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent gathering with colleagues at this place. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Booked quite late on for Sunday late lunch. I can honestly say this was the best meal and service that we have experienced in a very long time. We shouldn't be surprised by this but the staff were absolutely wonderful with myself, partner and 88 year old mom. They did everything to accommodate us and asked the chef for something off the weekday menu for me. They added extra sauce to my pudding and served drinks and top-ups really efficiently. They had a joke and laugh with us and my mom said it was the nicest time out anywhere for food for a very long time. Excellent food and service by all staff.

Food was good, had the little private room for a family meal, which was a bonus. I had a really nice pie, most of the others had the Leopard burger and the pork belly looked lovely. I am not a dessert fan, so I can't comment on that. Nicely decorated, staff were pleasant. Only gripe would be that we didn't get any of the starters that we had pre-ordered, shame as I was looking forward to mine but obviously didn't get charged for them. Apart from that, I couldn't fault the place

Booked a table of 4 for mothering Sunday. We all enjoyed a roast dinner, one vegetarian Wellington, one beef and two chicken. A lot of choice on the menu to suit all! The food was exceptional, the service was second to none and the atmosphere was spot on. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, would recommend in a heartbeat.

Popped in for lunch with the team from work. Good choice of food and service was quick and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer.

Not my first review of The Leopard over the years, but after 4 months away it was great to have dinner there again and it did not disappoint. A warm, lively atmosphere, friendly staff, good choice of dishes and excellent food! I also appreciated the 25%off for email subscribers in Jan and Feb. The tortellini was fantastic- fresh, tasty and a very generous portion. Sadly I didn’t have room for pudding, but the coffee was great and came with a nice cantucci biscuit. The pub looked so welcoming with all the lights on and from what I could see in the evening light, the outdoor areas are as well kept as ever. This will always feel like my ‘local’, even though I now live far away and I look forward to my next visit and sitting outside in summer. Delighted to see it is still as good as ever!

Loved the dog friendly welcome. Staff are attentive/professional/caring/fun and very warm. Locals using the venue are also warm/welcoming and engaging. Worth a visit.

Went for a wake. Buffet food was very good with a wide choice. Beer, had Butty Bach, excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly.

We booked a table this afternoon. They took the booking, we turned up and our table was reserved. 25 minutes later we hadn’t even been offered a drink let alone had a food order taken. If you haven’t got the staff, don’t accept a booking.

Service very efficient. Staff very helpful and attentative. Food delicious, generous portions and hot! Would definitely recommend it.

Visited after a long walk with my dog- first impression ‘Cold’ - had a log burner but heat was confined to only at the sofa in front of it - Dog friendly tables in ‘extension’ by toilets were cold - might as well sat outside in the 1 degree weather Staff indifferent- although seemed very friendly with their locals.

Iv travelled from Australia to realise this is a first class pub with first class service and food, oh and the beer is superb.
