The best restaurants serving Fusion food in North West

Introduced to Oscar’s by my sister who lives a few miles from Cartmel, we celebrated my wife’s birthday with a family meal there a few days ago. Fabulous food and service and a great atmosphere. The sausages in honey and mustard were amazing. Highly recommended, we’ll certainly be back again.

Was a superb restaurant, I met Anto before he opened , he was in Liverpool looking for a location and found Rodney st .. unfortunately it has had to close , not sure why , it's a shame , I hope they sort out the staff if wages are owed, sad to see a nice place close times are difficult..much bigger restaurants than this have closed there doors. Hope the staff find jobs , Anton I hope you are ok , it's a tuff time ,

Friendly staff serving good food at a reasonable price. Sounds a simple concept but so many places in the Lakes fail to deliver. Lake Raj got it right. Proper Job!

Recommend by friends, on first look was not convinced. Was very quiet but was early evening on a week night. Glad it didn’t put us off as this place is SUPERB!!!! Staff are amazing and food is as sublime. Poutine is out of this world as are hotdogs, we will definitely be regulars. Thanks so much.

Not to much to say really. We went for the buffet for a birthday meal, really disappointing, all the curries tasted the same and the meat was over cooked and dry, won’t be returning.

Meat was very dry curry sauces were incredibly bland and about as spicy as a carrot . The young lad behind the counter did a good job but the food was rubbish

Really disappointing experience my panini came out burnt and when it was re done the mozzarella panini wasn’t mozzarella it was cheddar and also came out very burnt. Asked for a take out hot chocolate with cream and when I reached the car there was no cream on my drink. Like I said a tad disappointing as we’ve been before it’s been taken over and it was really nice. Maybe just a bad day but overall disappointing and don’t think I’d visit again out of all the cafes available in the area now!

Brilliant experience before a Man City match..food was buffet style which suited us down to a tee. There was plenty food which was sooo tasty. The staff were so accommodating. I can't comment on value for money as we were there as part of a package.

Wouldn’t bother going again. The service was shocking. There is a big banner outside which states “vegan menu now available” except when we walked in and asked we were looked at as of we’d just asked for a leprechaun to serve our food. Seen as it is marketed as a “health bar” you would expect vegan options but we decided to order anyway. I got a falafel wrap which granted was good quality and my partner ordered a jacket potato with no cheese or butter. My Dad ordered a full English and Grandad a chicken wrap. The person taking orders who I believe to be the owner was unable to listen to the full order and had to take each food item individually rather than as a list, making us feel like an inconvenience. The food took an age to arrive and when it did they were all served at different times and the jacket potato came with cheese and butter on despite it being said multiple times if we could have it without. The staff were apologetic enough but then we had to wait whilst a new jacket potato arrived by which time everyone else had finished their meals. This is in addition to cutlery on the tables being dirty and us having to get up to replace them ourselves with no apology given. It is a shame but the place seems like somewhere that is being run with staff with no experience of hospitality and no care for their customers.

Stayed at SCMH while on a course. Good covid precautions, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

Llamé con mi esposa, mi madre y mi suegra. Habíamos estado antes, pero fue una sorpresa para las madres. Nos recibieron con sonrisas y personal muy servicial que habló de los viejos dorados a través del menú y la alergia a los alimentos de concha de mi madre. La camarera convocó a una camarera alérgica para hablar con mi madre a través de su orden y fue muy particular y servicial en todos los sentidos. La comida y el servicio fue excepcional y todos tuvieron una gran experiencia. Tengo que confesar que mi hija trabaja aquí mientras está en la Universidad, así que llamamos para sorprenderla mientras trabajaba, así que puedo ser un poco parcial, pero recomendaría de todo corazón.

Food was amazing brilliant service from sarf. Would recommend to everyone! Good prices for the amount of food. Will be back again!
