Absolutely beautiful food We had the steamed beef dumplings, tempura King Prawns, spicy chicken wings with noodles 🍜 wow incredible, bursting with flavour hot and fresh perfect portion sizes. Lovely little quaint restaurant clean and cosy will definitely be going back to try more !

the fried rice is very yummy, with the bento box, the price is quite cheap, very worth it.

Came here for a low-key date night and it was absolutely lovely. The food is beautiful, so fresh and fab portions too. The service is wonderful as well. We’ll defo be coming back!

Edit: I've also dined in and it's a wonderful setting for a great experience. I've not had the pleasure of sitting in, but regularly collect Japanese takeaway and very good value Bento boxes which come with Miso soup, fresh fruit and salad for an u believable price. The are always very quick and within the food ready within time they state when ordering unlike my experience with most other takeaways. Very friendly, considerate and efficient staff.

Decent dumplings to start but the rest of our food was very average. The eclectic pan-asian menu was probably the give away. The vibe seems to be offer everything and specialize in nothing. Staff were friendly.

Been using Yakisoba for over 10 year and must say the last year the food has become bland and poorly made. Ribs have changed and taste like low end takeaway. Real shame they were one of the best. Also I gave a tip to the waitress and she informed me the owner keeps them. Really bad form.

Do not go if you have allergies ! I am sorry to say that I have not had such a bad dining experience in a long time. This restaurant is not very allergy friendly, so there was very little choice for me. I have this type of food regularly in other restaurants and I have never had all this problems. The staff was not very able to suggest what I could have with the allergies, and we had to wait a while to order. Our food (2 people ) came out at very different times , despite being the same (partly ). One of the dishes (ramen) only tasted of star anise and nothing else. The place is quite small , so any time someone opens the door , it s absolutely freezing . I truly couldn't wait to leave , so we asked for the bill asap. I am truly sorry to give a bad review to a small business, but I really had a bad time and did not enjoy at all

Normal asian restaurant. Don't expect authentic japanese cuisine, what you'll find here is more chinese than japanese. They have a range of dishes from asian but not 100% authentic. Feels more like the qaulity you'll get from your neighbourhood chinese takeaway - not terrible (i hope) but not THE BEST. its definitely not bad but I kind of expected a bit more from a restaurant. All the main meals came with a bento box that has 2 pieces of vegetarian sushi, some fresh fruit, miso soup and some salad.

We had a takeaway from you on the 24th June. I have to say we were incredibly disappointed, the positive we had lots of Thai prawn crackers (this ended up being our meal for the evening). Negatives, the katsu curry was so sweet after 2 mouthfuls I could not continue to eat it, I’ve never had a sweet katsu curry it was more like a korma sauce. The Singapore noodles had no flavour to them whatsoever just lots of vegetables. The tempura squid we ordered was mostly lettuce with 3 pieces of squid! We also ordered an extra rice we didn’t need so a wasted £3.50 as it wasn’t clear the katsu came with rice this should be noted in the description. I hate to complain but I also really hate spending £40 on a meal I can’t eat due to poor quality and in these tough times that could have been my fuel or food shop for next week instead.

First visit for a few years and just as good as ever! Felt perfectly comfortable as a solo diner and noticed that there is wheelchair access to the side of the front verandah but only loo that I saw was downstairs.

I've been visiting Yakisoba for over 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always full of flavour and fresh. The menu has many options including vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the prices are very reasonable.

They have enhanced the menu, with a load of new dishes. I am not familiar yet with. I had the Pork Karaage which was delicious, deep fried pork balls in batter (I think). Plus they are doing steamed buns now too which I didn't try. It was pretty busy tonight, food excellent. I miss the pints of lager, small bottles of japenese beer doesn't quite do it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten in Yakisoba and last night’s visit reminded me why. The food was inedible and the staff simply didn’t care about the people in the restaurant. They’ve obviously geared themselves up to deal with Deliveroo orders as a priority. Worst food and service I’ve received in a very long time.

Fantastic all round. Service and food is excellent. Highly recommend the hoisin duck bon bon and seafood dumplings. We'll definitely be coming back.

It's great value for what I can describe as a Pan Asian restaurant. A mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malay and Indonesian dot the comprehensive menu. You'll normally choose a main dish which will automatically be supplemented with a bento box (miso soup, small salad, fruit, a unique and pleasant sushi roll and some nuts). The cuisine is tasty and the ingredients fresh. It's a pleasant experience and the environment is very nice. Dishes are served with lightening speed (must have an impressive cooking set up). Not sure the dishes align with what I'm expecting but it's still good food and amazing value.

I absolutely love it!!!! The food here taste AMAZING and the service is the best one I have seen so far after I visited so many Japanese restaurants, I have to say this is it, my favourite restaurant is YAKISOBA!!! 😘

Ordered a Katsu Curry and it came without the sauce. Thought i'd make the most of my chicken and rice. Except, there was more breadcrumb than chicken, the rice was microwaved and cold. Was rather disappointed.

The food is consistently lovely. BUT please stop or reduce plastic tray usage...this discourages us from using this otherwise fab takeaway as we feel so guilty at the waste we can't recycle.

Really bad experience. Pre ordered by Deliveroo for NYE order arrived an hour late and was missing my meal. Called the restaurant constantly for 30 mins with no answer. My husband says his food is nice but feels bad about eating it in front of me. I accept it must be a very busy on NYE with everyone staying in but that is why we Pre ordered. It’s ruined NYE for us and if I ever get through I’ll be expecting a full refund. UPDATE When I did get through they said they had run out of my order. They couldn't contact me because I had ordered through deliveroo. It seems crazy to me that they didn’t send some other food on the house to make up for it.

This has been a firm favourite for me and my partner for nearly 12 years. We've taken family here over the years and everyone rates it. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff are so lovely. Yes, the place is small and yes, they fit alot in at once, but I don't mind that. I've eaten in and taken out. Having not been for a while, me and my partner filled our boots on food for NYE. It didn't disappoint. Generous portions, full of flavour, fresh.... I could go on.

After placing pre-order for 7:00pm at 5:30pm we waited till 8:30pm and were starving. Unwrapping the order we realised half of it was missing and now all shops are closed so we’re going hungry on New Years Eve. Tried phoning but either no one will pick the phone or they leave the line open on purpose. Absolutely disgusting. Goodbye Yakisoba! If you can’t manage the orders simply stop receiving new orders. I’ll be speaking to a manager as soon as you actually pick your phone

First time ordering from Yakisoba. Used Deliveroo and I must say the taste of both meals was phenomenal. Highly recommended will definitely be getting the Chicken Teryiaki again

Absolutely fantastic. The wait time was minimal. The service was impeccable. The food is seriously some of the best i have eaten in a very long time. A member of our table had an allergy and the wait staff were fantastic with checking everything ordered.

Genuinely lovely staff doing what they do best! By far the best south east asian resteraunt in south Manchester!, the menue is incredible covering all south east asian quesene and is as delicious as it looks, we go every Wednesday..a little diamond of a restaurant!

Went last night for dinner. Apart from the food being lovely the rest of the experience was awful. They were so concentrated on take away orders that the tables inside were forgotten about. After an hour all we had had was our starter and the table wasnt cleared until we had asked twice! Eventually the mains came at which point the waiter stood at our table loudly arguing with a delivery guy which obviously added to our already disappointed mood. No waiter even acknowledged our concerns or apologised for the wait or argument. Safe to say i wont be going back.

We’ve been eating here for years, admittedly not for a while due to lockdown etc. But it’s always great food and service. Never been disappointed - the foods always excellent , portions are great and it’s so reasonably priced!

We ordered takeaway through deliveroo and I can honestly say it’s the BEST Chinese takeaway we have ever had! The quality, the flavours, the freshness - all fantastic! We ordered Ribs, Sui Mai, Har Gau & Duck with pancakes. Every mouthful was delicious 😊 I would highly recommend Yaki Soba! We will definitely visit the restaurant!

Went during the eat out to help out period and this pan-asian spot is really cramming as many covers in as possible. That's fair enough as I'm sure they have losses to recover, but I'd avoid it (at least while the promotion is on) if you want a prompt or safe restaurant experience.I've left it 3 stars because the food is really very good. We booked but had to wait 45 minutes for a table, with more long waits after this, starters came after the mains and some things never came. A table next to us were waiting so long they were asked if they wanted their mains to take away? Staff are clearly rushed off their feet and they are still doing a steady deliveroo trade so a constant stream of couriers, combined with tables close together means physical distancing isn't really happening (at least outside, inside looked better).

The staff are terrible. The food is nice. Recommendation: get the takeaway or go somewhere else. The food is not good enough to negate poor service.

I used to rave about this place as 10 years ago I used to order for takeaway when I lived nearby. I visited Yaki Soba on the 29 July and we ordered a bento box with a main each (pad Thai and katsu chicken) The sauce for the katsu tasted of peanut which is not typical in a katsu. The miso soup lacked flavour in particular miso itself. The side salad was nice and had a flavour some dressing. The portion size of the main dish was plentiful. The pad Thai was not what my head chef husband would call an authentic pad Thai and lacked flavour. All in all the meal was ok but we will not be rushing back. Plenty of better places closer to us.

Recently ordered a take out from here and I collected a couple of Bento boxes, duck and prawn dishes. Reasonably priced and will use again in the near future.

Tasty food BUT not do not good if you need disabled toilet on the street/ restaurant level - there is NONE !! Also, you need GOOD teeth to eat the famous Vietnam Noodles beef noodles. Never seen the beef so thick !!
