I visited this place with my family. The entire decor from the front of the building to the restaurant was beautiful. Was seated by a lovely gentleman and was catered to straight away! As soon as we sat down, our waitress came over to take our coats into their cloak room which I thought was very lovely. The entire night was lovely from the food, the drinks and especially the service. Our waitress was a young girl Lila who was lovely and made our night even better with the amazing service. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A stand out dish was the Chicken Kofta started. Will definitely be recommending to my family and friends!!!!

The lamb shank massaman curry was almost perfect... just slightly too much salt but completely devoured non the less! The poppadoms appetiser was really good value for money and a big portion. The cocktails were also very tasty and nice. The service was decent and the atmosphere was nice. Will 100% be coming back, especially for that lamb shank!!!

Staff are great and so is decor but the food and drinks are the biggest let downs. The menu is VERY LIMITED and the portion sizes do not justify the prices at all. The mocktails are basically juice and not worth £10!! Even cocktails are cheaper than that. Serious improvements need to be made on the prices and food selection.

I attended my Sister's Wedding at Vermilion back in June of 2022. The entrance going into this place is a quite narrow compared to other Wedding Venues. The inside décor of the restaurant is very very impressive. The table setting was brilliant as I could easily manoeuvre about and around the room, nor did I feel cramped in. The food was delicious. The waiting staff were excellent... Although, the organiser (some short Asian/Pakistani woman) really let the side down, here's the thing: I asked for steps to be put out on both sides of the stage. Yet, she only managed to have one step put out for the groom's family. And, as we (the bride's family) went up on stage we had to (embarrassingly) wait for a step to be put out for us in order for us to get on to the stage!.. This shouldn't have happened as I had already asked ''the organiser'' about the steps an 1 hour beforehand yet she just failed at such a simple request.. I reckon she didn't like the fact that my sister had a walk way (set up for her entrance) leading to the stage. The organiser claimed she wasn't aware of a walk way, it seemed to have took by surprise, she didn't look happy about it being there for the few hours it was there for. :D...Although one of her colleague's (some tall young looking man with a foreign accent) did a much better job at answering our requests and helping us out on the day.. Had it not been for him I would have given this place 2 or 3 stars rather than 4! The majority of the staff we interacted with seemed positive, happy, approachable and professional, aside from one or even two...The restaurant also has a decent size prayer room, bigger than that of many of the other Venues I have visited. :)

We went before an evening event at the National Cycling Centre so it was quiet but the internals were very impressive and we will return when it is bustling. The Tom Yam Khoonh soup was fantastic, as was the Chicken Pad Kra Pao.

Party of 24 for my daughter's 21st birthday. The food was okay but the service was terrible. Very disorganised. Some starters came after the main course. Dishes missed off the order. Extra items added to the order. The carpark was virtually empty so that was an indicator that it wasn't a popular place to eat. We won't be returning and wouldn't like to recommend.

Paid £118 to get food poisoning and my stomach still hurts after 5 days.! ..poor service.. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.!

I visited Vermillion recently, I wasn't impressed with the service unfortunately. On arrival my friend and I walked in and was greeted downstairs and was directed to go upstairs to be seated. As we came out the lift there was a large group of youn females that we're blocking the entrance, by time we got passed the group and were waiting for someone to come and seat us, we were waiting nearly 5mintues. Considering the time of the evening (9.45pm) and the table was already pre booked I expected to be seated swiftly. The manager seated us and didn't give us a menu, then when I mentioned it he passed blame onto the waiters but I said you either should have given us the menu yourself as you're the person to have seated us or have menus already set out on the table. The service was all terrible but for the most part it was disappointing. Food was absolutely worth the visit though, besides the services which is valued by myself I did appreciate the kitchen staff for making such delicious food and presenting it very well, the table service wasn't what I expected in this type of restaurant. Food was brought out by robot table service, and then food was placed on the table by a waiter once the food had arrived at the table. I wasn't impressed with this type of service as I see it as lazy and the waiters were rushing behind the table serving robots, it just looked unprofessional but I do expect this is the world we live in nowadays but it wasn't needed in my opinion. Paying at the end was fine. I wasn't impressed with the interior and the lighting could have been better no body wants to eat in the dark. I would visit again but I know now not to expect high standard service and would also ask for seating that is slightly more light up with decent lighting but other than that the food was incredibly good and I appreciated that part but as a whole experience the food is the only thing that stood out unfortunately. I recommend king prawn pad Thai, or you can ask for chicken instead of prawns and the chicken Karahi curry was highly exceptional.

Staff and starters were good. However, Honestly don’t bother going here The price of the food does not match the quality at all. I felt horrible for telling the service staff about the food but honestly the amount we paid for the food is crazy. The prawns were full of crap still even though we had paid about 24£ for the meal, would not recommend. It was completely unorganized. The staff then argued what sauce was served with my meal, and it took me to tell them what it was, overall completely disappointed

The service was quick & very good. The food is a Fusion of Indian, Chinese Korean & Thai, hence the options for each isn't vast, but when all three are combined it makes for a decent choice, (if smaller than I'm used to). I suppose this made it easier to choose. We had the rainbow dim sum, a kind of teriyaki chicken wings (which was a bit bitter to be honest) & peppered prawns to start, followed by chicken karahi & rice for mains, & caramel iced cream for desert. It's not cheap, but nothing is in post-Brexit Britain today. The restaurant is huge, with a banqueting suite on another floor for functions etc. The whole building & experience is mightily impressive, & has free parking. If you want to impress, this is the place to choose, just be prepared to have limited menu options (like most top end restaurants), & to pay for a premium because of the surroundings.

we went here last night for valentines and was blown away with every aspect of the place, the interior and design is absolutely stunning, the staff were very welcoming and kind, the food was absolutely unbelievable and had really unique options also, the drinks were also really lovely, we were given complimentary starters and a cocktail with it being Valentine’s Day which was such a warming touch and was massively appreciated, a massive special thanks to Trupti who was extremely attentive and really made the evening even more special, really could not recommend the place enough, it is fantastic.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Vermillion restaurant. Not only was the food amazing but the sevice was phenomenal. Our host for the night was Melissa and she was so pleasant. Always smiling & willing to help. Had such an awesome Valentine’s with the girl. We even got complementary chocolate strawberries and had a live singer on the night, which was such a nice touch. We will definitely be back!!!

We attended a wedding here 4 years ago, the venue is lovely and the food was good too. We recently attended the Uncensored event, the venue was clean and there was definitely enough space to cater for all the Palestine Supporters who came to see Sean King and Khaled Beydoun. We intend to pop in for a meal soon and will then update this review.

Seafood dishes here really stand out. The only thing that's annoying is that the music is very loud, so waiters can sometimes write down the wrong thing. Unfortunately, they do not let you change it, so that is a big disappointment. Other than that, the food here never let's you down. I recommend the Korean Bao Buns for starters 👌

Food was decent. Atmosphere was non existent. Maybe because we went on a Wednesday but there were perhaps two otheelr tables taken. Service was good.

I attended a medical meeting this week, food was OK, there was a lot of food left over at the end which had been paid for by the medical company. Some guests were enquiring to be allowed to take leftovers home to prevent waste age. The staff point blank refused. They said “people have allergies” _ this makes no sense as the same people have eaten there. This has happened on several occasions previously. The excuses varied “ people get poisoning “ or the “staff will lose their jobs “ or point blank no. Yet they happily allow leftovers from the restaurant and weddings to be taken away ? The food has been paid for by the drug company therefore it is theirs to do what they want- so give them what is rightfully theirs or refund them a portion of the extortionate amount they charge per head. I stopped using vermillion for events over a year ago for this very reason. They claim they bin the leftovers - on a previous occasion myself and some homeless team nurses offered to distribute to the homeless. They refused- this is a crime against society. I would like to know what exactly are vermillion doing with these leftovers ? Their excuses are inconsistent. On a separate notes their PA system is inadequate again they charge silly money for this. Please don’t hide behind the fancy decor - sort yourselves out .

We had wedding reception at Vermillion. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The event mangement team, especially Yanisa, was brilliant, courteous, professional and supportive. We received nothing less than highest quality of service. All our guests were impressed by the venue and very tasty food. Thank you chef.

The Vermillion hosted an exceptionally beautiful venue for the celebration of my son’s graduation. Best believe we will be back. Special mention goes to Yania for guiding us through the process of bookings, food and many others to make a man unforgettable evening.

An extraordinary Asian fusion restaurant; it has certainly exceeded my expectations. The decor is extremely beautiful! Love the butter chicken koftas. I will definitely be back!

The place is OK, seems like it's trying to live up to other big name restaurants. Food is okay, and service was very good but atmosphere seemed very noisy and food menu lacked the basics

Shocking experience. Charged us double for a starter. Waiter apologised and brought us two items on the starter (as was the case previously and been promised), and then we were charged twice. No mention that we would have to pay again. Had to wait 30 mins to speak to manager…who decided to disbelieve us and forced us to pay despite the clear misunderstanding. The waiting staff also seem to struggle with English and there is a clear language barrier. Considering how much I spend in there and being a regular I’d have thought they’d have cared a little more. Overall really poor.

10/10 service and ambience, loved the dim lights and how attentive the staff were. however, the food was slightly less appealing in that the beef cubes in the panang coconut curry were very chewy (curry was rsally yummy regardless) and the caramel in the coconut and custard dessert was burnt and made the whole dish taste bitter. really liked the torpedo prawn sushi and korean bao, but as we went for the january meal deal (30£pp, no mocktails/drinks included) it felt like it wasnt a good value for money, but it is kind of understandable as you're paying for the experience i guess. loved the decorations inside the building would return again :)

A large lounge and restaurant where the food is a South Eastern Asian fusion cuisine. Ingredients are of high quality as is the presentation. It is located on the outskirts of Manchester city with its own large free car park. Tables can be for 2 or +20, its particularly good for large group gatherings.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Very busy but plenty of staff waiting the tables. They had a singer on and also a magician going around each table. A perfect Christmas meal out with work. On let down was the lack of bar staff serving upstairs considering the amount of parties going on in there.

The staff was so good, especially Pritma she explained to my wife what should she eat due to her health condition, we loved that atmosphere and food. Special thanks to Pritma for making our trip to Vermillion special.

The food was ok but service and manager was not nice at all,I had to pay for a service I never got ,and I was spoken to rudely,I requested for my refund and she ask me to get the police involved ,the policy is not what it say ,I was lied to. My friend birthday was ruined by some of the staff that ,is the worst experience I have ever had in my life going to a restaurant and manager know she is wrong and still trying to claim right.the worker who served me was amazing but manager was very unprofessional

Starters were nice but the main really let it down. I ordered the prawn pad thai (£36) I expected something really flavourful and instead I got a smelly bowl of noodles that did not taste anything like a pad thai. The prawns smelt old and unwashed and I couldn't eat my meal without feeling like I was gonna throw up at the table. I asked to send it back but I was told no because that's the natural smell of seafood... I love seafood and I know that smell wasn't normal. The bill came to over £100 and I barely even ate.

Waited 30 min for the bottle of wine to be brought to the table. I don't buy it that they have been busy. Every restaurant is busy. Employ more staff, anyway you pay minimum wage. I will not go there again.

Great staff however one memeber tryed charging me £21 for 2 jagerbombs and a disarano and coke When I only got charged 16.50 for 2 jagerbombs,a disarano coke and one full redbull. Felt asif he was taking advantage so be careful.

I'll give this restaurant 2 stars because the interior decoration is absolutely stunning! The service was average. The food..🤦‍♀️the food was cold.. We had the set menu on the day. Overpriced, and absolutely flat! I'd not recommend this place.

Everything was satisfactory but nothing to write home about. Like most large-scale dining halls, the food can only be produced to a certain standard when cooking for so many people at the same time. The food is overpriced, but the decor and service were better. I'd say 6 out of 10 would be a fair score for the overall experience.

Came on 27/11 for a birthday meal! The service was fantastic the team on that night were so attentive and work to a very high standard! Was very taken back the staff could not do enough for you! The food was so authentic and tasty! I thought the meat Karahi was delicious. The restaurant was very pretty and such a nice atmosphere. It’s very pricey but for the taste and service I can see why!

Ran an event here last month. Very professional from start to finish. Amazing customer service from Yanisa with the booking and from Zen in particular on the actual night. Food was delicious and I don’t think there could be a better atmosphere anywhere. The surroundings are so impressive. In summary very professional, first class food and beautiful decor. My favourite spot in Manchester, visted vermillion last night with my partner and we love it here 😍 the food, service and decor is incredible!
