The best restaurants serving Fish chips food in England

Fish and Chips was as expected. Good quality and tasty fish. Chips weren't seasoned and the salt shaker on the table barely let any out. Tartare sauce and Aioli were very good. Other dish was Skate wing which was also good. We did end up waiting at least 45 minutes for food but they gave us complimentary drinks to make up for it

Second time we have been here for takeaway. Fish and batter nice chips nice. Crisp and not greasy. Salad very large and nice. Not too expensive either. Would recommend

Best fish and chips for miles around as for the Chinese food out of this world the best Chinese by miles not had as good a Chinese since I left London

So far, I have been here twice for dinner and both times we have been amazed by the delectable food and the courteous service. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed as there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant and trying to get our order in was a little challenging. However, when we managed to have our orders taken, all was brilliant. Service was interactive and there were smile. The fish and chips, by far that I have had in London, were the freshest and most succulent that I have had. We had the Cod and the Haddock. The calamari was also something not to be missed. All in all, the best fish and chips! Worth a visit.

I visited this chippy, whilst on a coach break to Cromer. The chippy was clean and the staff were friendly. I had the Cod and chips. The chips were tasty and so was the fish. The batter was a bit too crispy and hard though. Maybe should have had lightly battered. Would visit, when in Cromer again.

Order was 45 minutes later than requested and although minor the cheeseburger wasn't prepared with the salad as requested, there was no salt and vinegar on the chips and the tomato sauce sachet was missing

This fish bar has been recently renovated and has a fresh new look. As a person who is fussy about their food - I can honestly say I have always been happy with my food here. The chips are not too dry or soggy, same with the fish and the oil is fresh, hence a good balanced flavour. I know for sure being in any kind of restaurant business, its a hard act to follow - to maintain the quality of product and keep your customers happy. I wish them all the best and hope they can keep up the good work

Très bon restaurant pour manger un fish and chips ! Tout était parfait : l'accueil, les plats et les desserts. A tester, le Bread and butter pudding.

Popped over from Scarborough to see the Christmas lights. Did not intend to get some chips,but daughter and grandaughter were hungry.I was wary as I have used this chippy in the past and it was awful. Anyway got a portion of chips each to eat outside. We all said they were the best cooked chips we have had from anywhere! Piping hot,crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. absolutely gorgeous! The young gent cooking and serving them was so friendly(sorry didnt get his name) First class service! would def go again.

Corfe Mullen Harlees Sunday night 15th December 2024. I was later home than expected so my wife suggested I pick up fish & chips for her and just a jumbo for our son. Ordered at 5:41 - number 17. Number 14 was the first out at 5:51. I eventually received my order at 6:07. As there was no apology for any delay I presume that 26 minutes is how long a simple order normally takes.
