The restaurant was empty but the place was mess. The floors and tables. Even behind the counter looked like it needed a good wipe down. The service was no existent. The person on shift seemed like she didn't want to be there. Very sharp response. Couldn't eat the sandwich the bread was chewy when i took a bite the whole bread just ripped and made a mess of the food and the thing had more sauce that fulling so made it a mushy saucy mess that didn't taste nice. Zero stars!

Absolutely terrible. On arrival we noticed how the hot counter was filled with food, all looking like they’d been cooked hours ago and yet we were the only customers in the shop at approximately 2pm. We decided to order 1x fish & chips and 1x sausage and chips. The chips were very pale in colour, so soggy that they were stuck together, warmish and clearly had been sitting there for quite a while. The sausage was nearly inedible, our daughter complained that it was very hard to chew and this again had clearly been cooked a while prior to our visit as it was dry. The fish was ok once it had been removed from the thick and soggy inside batter. Can honestly say it’s the worst chippy I’ve ever been to. We gave them the benefit of the doubt when we could see the chips being put in the tray but honestly, we should have cancelled our order and gone somewhere else. Don’t waste your money.

Ate twice from here during a recent family stay in Penclawdd. We had a young baby so having a takeaway walking distance from our air bnb was a godsend. Menu isn’t extensive ( no kebabs ) but what they do , they do very well. Service quick and portions very generous. Fish and chips, cheese rissoles and mince beef pie all highly recommended.

just ordered from there for the first and last time, placed a order for large chips, fish in batter and onion rings placed the order via just eat, arrived on time, nice and hot, opened the fish it looked amazing, nice golden brown, tasted a little bland, no real taste too it, but I really enjoyed it, however wish I could say that same for the rest of the meal, chips overcooked on the verge of being burnt, and the onion rings where soggy and dripping with greece so much so I just threw them out, onion rings are supposed too be crispy not fill your mouth with greece, the photos they have on the just eat website makes their chips look loverly, but from what I received my granddaughter could have cooked them better portion size of the chips was supposed too be large, I had what I would consider a medium at best and thats being generous. this order cost me £18+ with the delivery, just eat charge and bag charge

Waited well over 15 mins to place & pay for my order. The assistant behind the counter didn’t bother to smile, say ‘hello’ or acknowledge that I was waiting - even though I was holding a £20 note in my hand waiting to be served. The assistant was more interested in continuing to check & check & then double check again the orders I guess for delivery - checking pockets & receipts. Very rude & no customer service skills whatsoever. Behind the counter where they prep the food for cooking, I also saw another male assistant open up a large blue bag of whatever with this teeth & mouth🤮 . . Absolutely disgusting food hygiene standards all round with zero customer service. Mind you, I guess, at Haven lower your standards & then lower them even more overall, as no matter where you eat , the food overall is underwhelming, cold & just not good enough
