King Kebab in Denbighshire

We are a regular here and tonight food was disgusting. Cold chips, rock hard / cardboard wrap. Rude man on phone wanted to send out new chips and wrap all whilst the meat was sat going cold. Won’t be returning in any hurry!!!! Poor food, poor customer service

Ordered easily and quickly , got it back chips were missing!. Everything was seperate so bit boring .Chicken shish was really salty a bit of a shame as could be nice if served like a proper kebab

Tried king kebab tonight (11/7/24) while on holiday from Nottinghamshire at Abbey farm camp site. Really nice friendly staff, reasonably priced, looked clean and well organised, food delicious really enjoyed it, free garlic bread and I forgot to order garlic mayo which they also give me for free,10 minutes walk from caravan site. Will definitely go again x

10/10 donner & I love the cheese you use when ever I make cheesy chips myself it's never the same! Big portions and food never disappoints. Delivery can be slow sometimes though

We’ve used King Kebab for years, even when the prices went up and they got a poor food hygiene rating - we stuck with them. Last week food was delivered without an item on the order being included. When we phoned, we were told the item was put in the bag, but agreed to send a new one. 40 minutes later still no delivery, so we called to cancel (at that point my partner had eaten his and I was a bit past it) and was told we’d get a refund. A week later no refund and I landed up having noodles for my tea. Never again, time to find a new kebab house!

Been a few times to this so called "king" kebab, if it where a king they would have a revolt on there hands. Ordered a doner kebab wrap with all the salad and chilli's, got home, had cheese on it!!! CHEESE!!!! Who in there right mind puts cheese on a doner kebab wrap!!!! Went back to amend this, got hassle off the lady working there, she told me I ordered cheese... no mate I ordered chilli!!!! Vowed never to go there again! Anyway, a few drunken months later I ordered another doner kebab wrap (with chilli's!) Went to collect 15 minuted later, confirmed with the girl that it had chilli's on it. Got home took a bite... NO CHILLIS!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND (If you want chillis)!!!!

Donna meats has stones In nearly brakes your teeth, chicken breast has bones in, chips cold, chilli sauce is tiny not enough for your kebab, if you still have any teeth left, they’ve lost me now gone down hill fast

Ordered a pizza, came undercooked, picked up a slice and all the toppings came off. Advertised as having spicy beef, no where to be seen. Instead cut up frozen beef. Disgusting.

Had a kebab Saturday night had food poisoning chicken not cooked probably left from the night before up all night. Vomiting both ends never again you will get reported STAY AWAY PLEASE

Nice food, very expensive, portion of chicken,small Donner kebab small chips 2 cans of coke £25 and the order was wrong once again, been ordering from here the last 2 months and every time it’s been wrong so won’t be using again. Can’t put a simple order together.

Best kebab around. Can't even finish a large. Very tasty and lots of salad. Chilli sauce is hand made and deliche.

First and Last review ever. Had to be done as the staff here need lessons in customer service. Called up to order where a women answered with an angry hello so I didn’t even know if I had the right place for start. She then continued to be difficult with everything we ordered, baring in mind we were ordering for children with autism that’s why some things were specific. She got very worked up and ended up hanging up the call before the order was finished. When the food finally arrived however long it took everything was wrong and drinks were missing. When I rang back up to let them know about the order being wrong and asked for drinks to be delivered I was told I was ‘lying and check the menu again’ to be then hung on again! Didn’t even bother trying to ring back and won’t be again! Awful service, Awful food and Staff have no respect for the profession they’re in. Sort it out

Great food really helpful staff

Whilst we've always enjoyed our takeaways from here, the recent price increases are too much. I appreciate inflation is hitting businesses hard but the price increase here is a joke. Pre-Covid the Chef Special Kebab was £12, then went to £14 when takeaways re-opened and now it's gone to £16. Need to be careful they're not pricing themselves out of what is already a congested market. We'll be going elsewhere despite the food being good.

Increase in price is way too much therefore will be taking my business elsewhere, almost a £5 increase on our usual order is not acceptable and although I understand inflation this is way too much.

Food is always nice , unfortunately you have to place you order 2 to 3 hours in advance shocking delivery service. I would understand if it was a Friday or Saturday but not in the week , This isn't our first time either so probably go elsewhere from now on.

Have ordered from here on many occasions and loved it but on this occasion the delivery took over 2 hrs

Waited two hours for my delivery, a burger and chips. Called an hour snd a half in to be told it was on its way, called half an hour later to be told they hadn’t even picked the order up there was a glitch in the online order system even tho I was told it was on its way half an hour before? Women on the phone really rude too. Went for a refund in the end won’t be using them again. Terrible customer service

Despite the food being reasonably good... The service and communication is shocking.... For the order to be substantially late, to then have a rude delivery driver just made the whole experience taste even worse.... I would suggest ordering and collecting a chinese from St Asaph.... Less hassle, better taste and even better quality service.... No competition.... .

Great pizzas, lovely little takeout

Great food. The chicken shish was cooked well and there is a great range of sauces you can add. The doner and chips was also good. There is a large menu to choose from. The order and collect service on the website worked well and the order was ready within 20 minutes. This is a great takeaway, especially if you are looking for Halal food in the area. FYI There is no facility to eat-in.

Our regular kebab shop was unexpectedly closed, so we decided to give King Kebabs a try and were very glad we did. The chicken, doner meat and salad were all delicious. Great portion sizes. The flavours were wonderful and everything was fresh and appetising. We will definitely go again.

My 2nd ever favourite kebab house. Absolute brilliant food, however the only issue is the time that they take to deliver instead of picking it up yourself.

Absolutely disgusting service service.food was cold and when contacted was not intrested.we asked for chilli sauce and got some sort of salsa sauce.

3 stars is generous in my opinion. In terms of quality and taste its by far one of the best kebab houses around the Rhyl and Prestatyn area. However, I can not begin to explain how bad the delivery service is. I was waiting over an hour and a half for just a pizza. This wasn't just a one of, its happened multiple times now. I have even tried collecting, and although it was quicker it was still an unacceptable amount of time to wait. Even though the food is good quality, I feel that the services just let the place down massively.

Never late with the deliveries and food is absolutely amazing. Never go anywhere else now

Ordered online (said 45 mins delivery) at 7:10pm still sat waiting for our order at 9:15pm despite numerous calls to the shop with a promise “it’s on the way” “it’s 20 mins” Disgraceful customer service!!

Brilliant! The food was really tasty, had a kebab, chips and chicken nuggets. The food was prepared very quickly and was lovely and fresh. Can’t fault it.

Pizzas and garlic bread good, worth having

My chicken and lamb kebab was nice but was strange having it all separate. I like all of my food together, first time going here. I would go again but I'd ask for them to put it all on the nanny and also to have the sauce on the kebab, the sauce they gave me in pots were not enough to cover my meal.

Decide to get a burger and chips. Ordered 2 portions one without salad. The guy made it the most difficult order in the world. Asked me 3 times to repeat the order. Changed it everytime he read it back to me. I was the only person in there. I can imagine if it is busy your order will be wrong. Food was good though and they take cards.

The customer service is horrible. The woman just throws the food at you at your. Doesn't say a word. Disrespect and disgusting. Rung to complain about the attitude, he didn't want to know. The kebab meat was cold.

We have been ordering from here for years. The food is always good, tasty and fresh. However we think there is a new member of staff as a different person has been coming to ours for the home delivery drop off. This lady has twice been very rude when dropping off our order, complaining to us that she got lost, couldn’t find our address and went on to state that in future we needed to attempt to make things easier for her by investing in extra lighting outside or give clearer instructions when ordering as to how to get to the address. This time she ranted on the door step for at least 5 minutes whilst family members inside we’re shocked by her attitude. We really do love coming here but have been put off now, we love the food but don’t need the lectures .

Just ordered a kabab and pizza the kabab was wrong and only tiny I’ve been coming for years and when we can afford it we get a takeaway as a treat so it’s a big disappointment for £15

Pros- - Food is tasty - staff are friendly Cons- - Miss items off order ALOT - Don’t tell you when there are delays Context; Ordered a couple of weeks ago for home delivery. They took over an hour to deliver, missed a kebab off of the order, and took another 40 minutes to deliver the missing item. Gave them another go a week ago, everything was spot on. Ordered a home delivery this week, they took 1h20m to deliver but didn’t tell us there was delay. When it arrived two of the items were completely wrong (wrong meet and accompaniments), and 3 items were missing. Took half an hour to deliver missing items. If everything ok then it is nice, but they don’t tell you about delays for you to make a decision upon ordering, and often miss items. Although they do send replacements, by the time it comes the rest of the food is cold.

Went here the other night. Wait time was a little long. Made the order wrong the first time so had to do it again...while waiting I was busy getting harassed by the local crackhead.

Great food every time! Not always 100% correct but always well cooked, hot and on time, so makes up for the odd wrong pot of sauce or pitta instead of wraps, Not worth ordering kebab anywhere else!

Best kebab ive had in a long time!

I ordered online and walked into the village to pick the order up. Upon arrival I noticed in the window that it has a zero hygiene rating. I did not touch the pizza but my husband ate some. He said it was lovely. However the morning after he was on the loo. Staff were friendly and the food did look lovely. Hopefully the hygiene rating will improve quickly.

The delivery man was very friendly and had great customer service. Food was okay, the garlic bread was lovely. It was about 15-20 minutes late to arrive, but still hot on arrival.

Food nice, order served on time. I was only customer at time, extra food put on counter in bag next to mine. Picked it all up to leave, kindly told it wasn’t all mine, but made things awkward as it looked like their error was me trying to steal extra. Not the best experience at all.

Delivery driver had taken no care at all with our food, it looked like it had been dropped and thrown around. The base was all squished against the sides of the box and the toppings had slid off the top! Will say not the usual driver, the guys are usually pretty good but this lady was awful.

Food that arrived was faultless, only reason for 3* service rating was due to a missing naan bread which was meant for a kebab. Food was delivered around 15 minutes later than predicted but half anticipated this due to time of ordering (8pm Saturday).

Well it was simple to order using the app food was well presented not like some places where they put the salad or together so you get a hot salad this was well packed and as we had ordered a fair sized portions they even gave us a free bottle of soft drink to wash it down will be using again I got the big mixed kebab Cambridge turn downs literally still had food after over after making too big nams good portions

45 mins late, called the restaurant and was told it would be with us in 5 minutes.. half an hour later it turned up cold and chewy.

I used to love this kebab house but the service the past 3 times I’ve ordered has been terrible. They’ve got our orders wrong every single time. The food has been late and cold, we waited 90 mins for a kebab and chips to be delivered and when it came it was wrong and the chips were undercooked. Such a shame as it was my favourite kebab shop. Won’t be ordering again unless it changes back to how it used to be.

The chicken had been so fried it was nearly black and you could not eat it,

driver had bit of an attitude phoned first because couldn’t find place when it was only round corner from shop and I had given clear instructions on order. into a street then first left is that so hard. I even directed the driver by phone and watched him pass the left turn six times and told him on phone you just passed it I saw you but the guy just found it hard bless. he then had the cheek to rant on to me as if it was my fault. The food was not as good as I have had in the past very greasy and lacking chilli sauce I had ordered with it so in all not happy and waste of £19

Decided to give this place a try as heard gud feedback bout it, ordered a takeaway for delivery and took them 90 minutes, food was warm not hot at all, went here again and charged me for 2 large kebabs had large and small, I rang them and the attitude of the girl on the phone was dreadful plus it took them half hour to make the kebabs, would never ever go here again and wouldn’t recommend it either

We have takeaway once a week (every Saturday nyt due to working mom-fri). Well after having nothing but disgusting, cold non edible food off just eat we decided to give somewhere out of our area a try. Well the entire family enjoyed their Saturday night takeaway for a change. Food arrived on time and hot. Everything was amazing. Will definitely be ordering from again.
