Came here to buy a pot of ice cream.Paid and got my receipt. Waited 10 minutes and my order didn’t appear on the collection screen.Went to the till and asked politely if they had an update on my order.The staff member said i had to pay again and that it hadn’t gone through.I showed both my receipt and my bank statement and the man refused to give me my food and was trying to get me to pay again.Had to argue for 15 minutes with the shift manager just to get my ice cream-such rude staff and waste of my time.

This must be one of the most poorly managed McDonalds in the country. Everything is either broken or poorly maintained. Toilets are in tatters, toilet roll holders broken on the floor and empty. Hand driers not working properly, ketchup and sauce pump things empty, and clearly not looked after for days. It was just me, the wife and my daughter in the restaurant, and it took absolutely ages to have our food delivered. When it came it was brought over by a glassy eyed zombie teenager who had forgotten parts of the order. When my wife went up to the counter to enquire about the missed items, she was met by another of the living dead devoid of any personality or customer service training. Poor experience, poorly maintained establishment, poor service. Poor old customers!

Would never order again, food took a while to come then when arrived food was cold and wasn’t all there very disappointing.

Acabamos de parar en los servicios de Cardiff Gate para una breve pausa en el baño antes de continuar con nuestro viaje. Utilicé el inodoro para discapacitados ya que estoy registrado como discapacitado. Esta cabina del inodoro también funciona como una instalación de cambio de bebés. Estaba absolutamente disgustado con lo sucio que estaba el cubículo del inodoro. No parece que se haya limpiado en mucho tiempo. Las baldosas están sucias y solo Dios sabe lo que salpicó por todas partes. Obviamente, el lavabo no se ha lavado en tal vez una semana, el piso es pegajoso, el dispensador de rollos de inodoro necesita una buena limpieza y ni siquiera me hagas empezar en el inodoro en sí! La puerta en ambos lados tiene un montón de manchas muy dudosas y líquido pegajoso por todo ella. Necesita una limpieza a vapor y luego un poco de pintura. La pintura dentro del cubículo está cansada, sucia, desconchada y parece poco atractiva. ¡Esto no es suficiente! Nos detuvimos en los servicios en Rugby hace unos días y todo el lugar estaba brillante! ¡Cardiff Gate necesita estar en sus altos estándares! ¡LIMPIA TU PUERTA DE CARDIFF!

I waited nearly 2 hours for my delivery. The pancake stack was shocking 4 cold little pancakes with 1 strawberry on top. The kinder milkshake was just as bad. I paid £24 through the bank and the delivery driver still asked me for a payment when he arrived. With out realising i have paid them another £24. I phoned sweet Steve’s directly and a lady told me when the driver is back she’ll tell him to bring me my money back. At 11pm there was still no sign of the delivery driver so I phoned them up to find they have closed after making me wait up for them to bring my money back. The company can’t ever run a bath never mind a shop.

This place has gone down hill! 80% of the team have absolutely no manners and really need to learn some customer service skills ! Don’t get greater at the window! Food is never ready it’s chucked in a bag and then can’t even fold it they have to screw it up , how appealing! Email gone to head office !!!

This branch is very hit or miss. But today, they missed by a mile. Royally cocked up my parties order, day, and year so far. As we entered. The lack of caretaking was instantly apparent, the place was a mess with food and dirt on most of the tables, bins open, and drink spilled on floor. The many staff there did not seem interested in doing their jobs, when my food came they didn’t give me my sauce, and my drink was half full / half empty The wait for my food wasn’t very ‘fast food’ I was waiting over quarter of an hour for my quarter pounder. Felt like I was better off leaving, going to play with myself really quickly, goon, then go to KFC across the road for a proper fast and enjoyable meal. By the time my food arrived, my fries were dry and my drink was ice cold. Really let me down this time. Thanks a bunch McDonald’s, I won’t be rushing back

This outlet just shamelessly stole from me. I ordered 25£ worth of food, they sent me a pack of chicken nuggets worth 7£. If some random person stole money of you like this they'd be charged for robbery, yet Mcdonalds does it and it's ok? Absolutely disgusted and if it's not sorted by tomorrow I'll be making a complaint to the police.

Dire. Over cooked halloumi fries, so couldn’t eat them. They’ve either changed the royale vegan burger or the ones I got were re-heated and were disgusting. Over £20 on pure rubbish. The fact that no management responds to these reviews says it all.

Lovely hot food all fresh young girl was lovely who served us we will be back with the family all lovely and clean there with hard working staff

The food is just as good or bad as everywhere else, but there is really no fast in Fastfood anymore. I’d say we come her every month and no matter how packed or empty, you will always wait for your food, sometimes 15-20mins. Can’t understand how there aren’t certain everygreen products in stock, in jammed times. You’ll get your drinks and Icecream right away, so all ice will be melted, by the time the food arrives. Sometimes kindly got replacements. The App is also an absolute nightmare and works maybe 1/3 times. Poor Management, should definitely get someone new in for that role. We will check out Burger King for a regular guilty pleasure snack, when it’s open.

One of 9 cars parked waiting for their food. McDonald's need to remove the censor that measures service time. This restaurant like others constantly cheats the system....if you like waiting 15-20 mins for "fast food" come here. The same every single time!

I ordered through uber eats, it arrived 40 mins after stated time. The food was cold, not just cold but freezing. It looked like it was made up, but the delivery firm couldn’t get a driver. But these should have been done again as it was so long, from order to collection. Also there was items missing, e.g sauce which was paid for. A donut ordered but a muffin delivered which was rock hard. I reported to uber who, gave a £5 refund which only covered the delivery and service charge. I won’t be ordering again. I’m so disappointed in such service from two big companies.

Called to see where my order was and this horrid girl answered the phone. Attitude was terrible, wasn’t helpful. Cancelled order in the end.
