Hungry Inn in Wrexham

Said they shut at 23.00 ordered at 22.10.. took money out of my Account, didn't deliver... nor pick up the phone... rip off

Food poisoned and not the first time either, never again will I be ordering from here again, me and my children ate the same meal and all of us were really I’ll for days not a coincidence

The food is brilliant I can’t knock it the salt and pepper chips are great and the sweet and sour chicken is lovely but it’s the delivery times, both times I’ve ordered it’s been over an hour wait, not bad if it’s a busy night but it’s been like midweek when I’ve ordered, so lowdown of it, order two hours before your hungry 🤷🏻‍♀️

Won’t be ordering again food was unreasonably late, restaurant said it had left with the driver it then took a further hour to arrive completely stone cold. And the duck spring rolls tasted rancid.

Shocking delivery times!!! Said it would b delivered within the hour…..2 hrs and one phone call later….still waiting

Ordered food called company multiple times where they said food was on its way took 3 hours would not recommend this place to anyone ordering online, only thing they can do is hand food over a counter

Ordered via Wrexham Eats at 7.42pm, said would arrive at 8.50pm. Nothing came so I rang at 9.10pm to be told awaiting a driver and then would be delivered. Rang again at 9.40pm - said driver had left 15 mins earlier?? It finally arrived at 10pm - cold and vile. It is not an excuse to have a busy night. Won't be returning and would not recommend.

I rang to put my order in 3 people in that takeaway shop were not wraring mask at all even thosr 3 ladies taking and giving orders..i dont feel safe at all. Esp its a food industry.. they arent following government guidelines...

I ordered a takeaway from hear last night..waited nearly 2 hours for delivery...no kabab meat...cheese burger was burnt solid with a little bap and tiny amount souce in the middle...prawn toast was burnt and hard..cooked a few times ..discusting..the chips were rock hard and burnt...the only thing that was ok was the chicken curry..which I can imagine that was made in kitchen by proper cook..can not complain about that..try feeding 3 just on chicken curry alone..whoever works in front of shop needs to be sacked...you carnt give paying customers that crap and expect them to come back..I know I won't...

I was stood in the que waiting for my food, a delivery must have been finished and the chef brings it out the kitchen. Server goes to wrap it up and says ‘chef there’s a hair in this’ and never guess what she says next....... ‘take it back and pull the hair out, look if there’s anymore’ ERRRRRR. Sorry to whoever had their delivery plucked. And sorry for writing a negative review but. Well, I don’t even need to explain that.

Ordered last night for the first time. They were mad busy as it was the only Chinese open in Wrexham. We were told there would be a long wait and that was fine. Food came on time. No complaints at all. Reasonable prices and food was lovely. Will definitely order again.

Had a takeaway from here last night and really enjoyed it and would definately order from here again. Had loads of different things and could not fault a thing spot on.

Been using the Hungry Inn for over 12 months and have recommended to others on the excellent food and service. Last night was so different we rang for a delivery and was told an hour and a half. I decided to ring my order through and collect. I was told it wouls be 15 minutes. When i arrived it was chaos as staff were literally running round. I was asked what I ordered and i paid the bill and was told it will be ready shortly. I waited and eventually asked why mine was and was alarmed to see it was complete and being kept warm on top of hot pans. When i dished up at home I was shocked to see tomatoes in a Thai green curry.this is the only dish i order from here as it is usually delicious. The whole sauce was watery and rushed. The other dishes we had were bland and tasteless. When phoning back to met with an attitude of what do you want me to do and to be told it had been taken over by new owners 3 weeks ago. We sadly will not be recommending or returning as the whole experiwnce was unacceptable. So disappointed as previous thai curries were as good as in Thailand

This is the third meal myself and my family have had from this take away, food was delivered promptly, hot and it was delicious! Not a lot of options for Chinese food in Wrexham but this is firmly becoming a fave of mine!

Food absolutely awful! 😷 would not recommend to anyone! Never ever will I eat from this place again!
