The best restaurants serving Fast food food in South West Scotland

Got two fish suppers tonight 01/04/2025 Very greasy and fish full of bones. Went in bin, not good

I loved this fish and chip shop, it is the best one I have been to. The staff were very friendly and didn’t take too long to serve me. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Busy place, everything was cooked fresh and they did a battered smoked sausage which was amazing. Good value for money.

As good as it gets from a "mobile unit/static takeaway".....Great homemade soup( changes every day), tastey hot and cold offerings served by friendly staff.

Shite place. Very depressing. Order mixed up. I asked for a Malteser Cookie dough and was given milky bar and when asked to change they picked the white chocolate off and put Maltesers on top.

As my last review was about the girl that was selling gear (Drugs) to the staff as she was sitting next to me telling me what she was doing . . Well we went back which is about 10 months since my review. . We ordered and nothing was said . Until we felt people who came in after us were getting there orders after we'd ordered . Only to ask how longs is ours going to be . Which was anther 10mins then that's when he said yous put a review up about the place. . So we didn't even argue with him as I was right on what I posted . . . Just shows how they don't like a review about being honest and it was nothing to do with the food. . Maybe next time don't make it so obvious what yous are for dealing rather than food . .

Food cold left outside hotel street door. Really? Called them 8 times and straight to VM.

Having explored Wemyss Bay, we found this fantastic cafe situated inside the ornate train station buildings and treated ourselves to lunch. Very basic tables and chairs that did the job perfectly with a menu both on the table and on the wall for you to choose then order from the till. We had triple decker toasted sandwiches with hot drinks and everything was well presented. Staff were friendly and prices excellent. Loved it!

Usually go in here for one drink and move on . Spent 6hrs in here , had great day .

Usual Greggs standard- baguettes, steak bake, doughnuts & millionaire shortbread all thoroughly enjoyed

Popped in for wee nibble, chose chicken and bacon pasta 1 of my favourites and a latte 😋 however no forks!! Staff looked but nothing couldn't eat, didn't get offered alternative!! Had my latte then left poor show 😢

We have now visited nosh twice and the food is good but portions have definitely got smaller since our first visit. The food is very tasty and the service is great, would definitely recommend.
