Taj Mahal in North Ayrshire

Heard good reports from people I know and decided to try. Food was really good and will definitely go back . Live about 6 miles away but that won’t deter me to travel for really good food . Staff very pleasant and helpful with the menu choices.

Ordered custom calzones, arrived absolutely perfect. Amazing staff service. The best Indian takeaway in Irvine.

First time trying this place and we weren't too impressed. We had a sonic box, pizza and pakora. The food was not the best, the delivery took 50 mins, it arrived cold, the pakora pieces were small, the portions sizes were OK but the sonic box was definitely not worth £20, It's a waste of money, we were not impressed with it at all. The chips were not great, they were cheap French fries and floppy, not crispy at all. Wouldn't rush back!

This is my local carry out and use it often, the food, price and quality are all good but not great, would say that although it’s a ‘cheep carry out” I think the food is slightly overpriced

I am sorry for leaving this review as the food was lovely. However the delivery driver was aggressive, rude and threatening. My address is NOT hard to find, yet the driver seems to have huge difficulties , even knocking on the door of the elevator as he thought that was my front door??? Seriously ? Then finally when I found him wandering the hall, it seemed to be all my fault and he became aggressive and told me to F off. NOT the type of service you expect when you are paying £2 for a delivery charge and a lot of money for the order. The whole meal was spoiled as the driver left me feeling shaken and upset after what should have been a pleasant experience. I order once or twice a week from Just Eat and nobody ever has a problem but for some reason this driver did. Rather than acting gracious and delivering my meal, he decided to go on the offensive. I have reported this to Just Eat and the takeaway as it is not acceptable.
