Subway Hamilton in South Lanarkshire

I’ve been to this subway a couple of times now and always order on the app for collection to save time. Usually things are forgotten and I have to ask the staff to re-read the receipt. Today, however, I’ve ordered on the app for collection and stood at the collection sign for between 5-10 minutes whilst one boy (who seemed new as he didn’t know where some buttons were on the till) and two female staff worked - ignoring me. One of the female staff was making orders for customers in store, but spoke to the other female staff member in the kitchen area the entire time. I could see multiple paper collection bags waiting so I was getting frustrated. It was only when a just eat driver came into the store and told the boy the numbers of the orders he needed. Only then the male staff member gave me any attention and handed me my food. Not happy.

Best Subway branch hands down. Staff are super quick and friendly. A very good atmosphere and always feel welcome. Food is always great too!

Older woman blonde hair severely rude to her own staff, as well as customers I’ve never Ment a woman with such little customer experience so bloody rude don’t know how she still has a job

Stopped here for a quick snack . Good choice and very quick service. Would recommend.

Went in today with my fiancée and ordered some meatball marina sandwiches toasted, got home and found them soggy and cold with paper stuck to it and all. Not going back 👍

Was in today getting a ft long meatball sub, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Had a good laugh with them and left happy, will definitely be back! Special mention to Lorna, very professional

Was surprised how much it was for a meal deal . £6.40 seems a bit steep . However I did enjoy the meal . Staff weren't the friendliest

Absolutely underwhelming experience. Went to order a tuna salad, but staff insisted they don't do salads (which is wrong) - then went on to ignore me and serve other customers. Won't be going again, that's for sure. There's other Subway branches nearby with more competent and friendly staff.

Based on my experience, staff are not very helpful. Very disappointing.

Good Vegan options, wish they sold coffee again and with dairy alternatives this time would be great. Vegan plant patty is delicious. They even have vegan cheese. Pricey but good for vegans on the go. Girl gave me free crisps and 3 cookies for waiting not even that long. Lovely gesture just couldn’t eat the cookies as they had animal products in them and I’m vegan.

brought my son here Friday and the two staff behind the till were very slow it took ages to get served and i was in a hurry the food was good but the staff very slow.

The serving assistant was really lovely and very helpful as she told me that l had enough points on my card to pay for my 2 six inch subs AND 2 hot drinks. No other Subway ever want to tell you how many points you have accumulated! Subs were both lovely too. 10/10 for the Branch next door to Hamilton Asda 😙😘😚

Visited the Motherwell subway which isn't listed here, food was as expected and typical but notably the floors and seats were strewn with crumbs and waste food, could do with a good clean.Staff were chatty and efficient but oblivious to the mess around one of the tables

came here for lunch with son was lovely wee place the salad box is amazing and what a great deal £3.80 for salad box and drink so fresh

Wasn't the best experience in this shop it's usually ok but the veg was soggy and the tea was cold as tea machine broke down .The person serving was very apologetic and l did get a refund for my cold tea .

Outside doorway and tables and chairs covered in bird droppings. The staff must have stepped over the filth in the doorway to go to work. The window dirty and the whole area filthy. Why would I buy anything from this grubby place let alone food. Bought sandwich at Greggs instead. This post refers to the quarry street shop.

I love subway who can argue. Though most of the staff weren't that helpful . Except 1 lady who spoke with an English accent and couldn't be more helpful. overall I'd rate my experience 4 out of 5 stars.

Found a fly in my food, told the manager and she just said "no bother". All I wanted was an apologie as I'm a regular, I even emailed the store and boycotted it for a while but everything else is so unhealthy in comparison that I started going back and it's fine I just feel my complaint should have been dealt with they're also skimpy with the servings compared to the Motherwell branch

El personal está siempre dispuesto a ayudar y nada es demasiada molestia (no puedo comer pan, pero siempre se puede encontrar algo sabroso para administrar comer alrededor de este) en el esfuerzo impresionó especialmente han hecho hasta hoy. . . Parece fabuloso. la tienda con todas sus decoraciones de Halloween, y todos se ven geniales vestidos demasiado! Bien hecho chicas :).

My choice of subway store every time. Friendly staff who know how to make a proper subway & quick! Ideal to park at Asda & nip up the stairs!

I always get a subway when I am out and about shopping in hamilton and it's always great food. The meal deals are also great for what you get.

I love subway but this one isn't ideally located and the staff just seem like they want to be anywhere else. I don't think it's open late enough either compared to McDonald's and pizza hut which are adjacent. Food is good.

Staff werent very happy, didnt smile the whole time I was in store. Food was good but didn't feel welcome at all, just the quickest they could get you served and didn't say goodbye.

Visited this on my way home from work, I had been working for 15 hours and was looking for a snack, I ordered my Sub and coffee,after 15mins I had not received my Sub. The person behind the counter was as helpful as an ash tray on a motor bike,when he did offer me my Sub it was cold and the coffee look warm. i WILL NOT BE BACK AND HAVE PASSED ON MY EXPERIENCE to friend and family.
