Well, you get what you pay for, sadly actual customers seemed like second class citizens as the never ending wave of just eat delivery drivers came and went, clearly impacting on the ability to deal with in store customers.

Ice cream machine wasn’t working, yet again. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for my Mcflurrys just to then be told the machine wasn’t working. Never even got my money back. So rude.

Usual mcdonalds. What can I say.

Excellent service, drive through very fast and no issues with my orders.

I won a doughnut.. but none in stock.. a asked for a fefill of my drink instead but wad refused.. not impressed 😕

Everytime order from here there's missing items. How can u get a simple or wrong who works here needs sacked

Drive through is a 50/50 shot whether you get either someone else's order or your own order with at least 1 item missing. Do not leave the window without checking your order.

Took over 20 minutes to make a breakfast item and had to leave due to it taking so long and nearly missing a train. Definitely would not recommend

Food average. Customer service non existent you'll wait 30mins for fast food O sorry its not classed as fast food anymore then you'll discover your missing all kinds of stuff out your order that you paid for .

Leon Hughes really put in a great performance when he dropped a groger in my burger and done some naughty stuff to my mayo

20 minutes waiting when store is nearly empty I was last customer waiting for 1 large drink and a cheeseburger still waiting then I get it and packaging looks like it's been tossed around the room

Visited twice over the last couple of days, food ok on first visit but the service was lacking in most forms of customer service, and the flurry of delivery drivers blocking the entrance and pathways was ridiculous. Although there were a few diners inside, the atmosphere was not pleasant at all. This new design of restaurant removes almost all human interactions and feels incredibly cold and sterile. Gave it a chance and had a second visit for a breakfast and both the sausage muffin and the hash brown were almost cremated. Won't be back here any time soon.

food was rotten no salt on chips or nothing oasis tasted like water and the wrap only had one bit of chicken in it

This is the worst McDonald's I have been to ordering your food they can't get it right staff don't understand you when putting a order in I have just come back to the house and not the right order 😑 😫 tried to phone them but no answer this Mcdonalds is very poor and need to get there staff to try a bit better , service is awful , so id stay well clear of hamilton west, this is a reoccurring problem on a daily occurrence , terribly organised shop 😢 stay well clear

This MacDonalds has a totally enclosed kitchen. No view to cooking of your order. Very strange. Order was cold. Was in hurry so did not take time to complain. So expensive now I will eat elsewhere in a cosy cafe with hot options.

Hamilton west McDonald’s is slower than a week in the jail Since it’s been refurbished it’s been taking literally 6-8min for a coffee only drive through. I don’t know what the problem is ,‘I’ve asked twice and said there busy , but it’s 6:30am and no one in store either Yesterday the woman actually gave me my coffee at the pay window as I sat there for easy 8-10min just for a coffee

Took my 10 month old grandson,with pram so we need a lot of space but the just eat guys take up a lot of the space😕so basically they need more tables and chairs👍

Absolutely abysmal service from this store. If you are going to order food for home delivery save your money. As after the 5th meal in a row ordered from this shop that has either been delivered freezing cold after sitting for over an hour or just not delivered at all, I've come to realise they just don't care. They know they don't have to deal with the customer and will be paid up front. All refunds I've tried to claim have been partial and don't even cover half the money I've spent. This store is a con. Save your money and do not order unless you are on site to check your order there and then.

Dreadful- waited ages for a breakfast roll- then got a roll with a tiny sliver of egg ??? Bore no resemblance to the advertised product. Tea was ROTTEN as well? Never had either problem in McDs before. Not coming back

Tried a hack of a kids size vanilla milkshake topped up with a double espresso! A newly renovated little branch, the drive thru was very busy so I went inside and ate in which it was smaller inside than expected but ok at the time of day I was in.

Horrendous service and the most incompetent staff in any McDonald’s. Rarely get an order right and when they do it’s only after you’ve waited 40 mins for an app order. Honestly totally useless

Went to the drive thru last night and the guy William that was on the speaker was fantastic, really good manners and great customer service... something that was sadly lacking before.... Thankyou :)

After a previous wrong order, I'd love to say that things have improved, but having ordered a cheeseburger happy meal, I was disappointed to find we had been given McNuggets by mistake. I recommend anyone to check their order before leaving. On a more positive note, I approve of the new setup, where delivery drivers are in a separate section and the kitchen is no longer in view.

Food was freshly cooked my fave crispy fries. Only downside was I didn't know a big mac didn't get you monopoly ticket.

Dreadful, just dreadful... myself and others waiting what seems an eternity for a simple breakfast meal. If you have time to waste come, if not avoid!

Never again will I use drive throw ask for 2 bacon rolls and get to full breakfast rolls o if there busy I understand they can make mistakes but the place was empty I understand why now a simple order and they still don't get it right

The order was wrong. Asked for a mcchicken sandwich and got a hamburger with pickles.. the fries were freezing and I never got my bbq sauce.. usually a great McDonald’s too but this was just not it

The service was a bit poor when I asked why my food was taking over 15 minutes for 1 meal, but really nice refurbishment and atmosphere.

Visibility of staff has virtually disappeared. Machines to order food are constantly broke and don't produce receipts so there's no proof of purchase. Terrible experience.

This is what I was delivered.This is totally disgusting My son isnt now well and didnt go to school after consumption some of it before he found the foil.

Waited 25min, seen order on board to be collected. Approached counter to be told they had given my order to another person. How can this be as all orders are numbered.thanks for ruining my lunch break will not be back. Ps the shop layout is a shocking experience.....

It's currently closed for... renovations, I think. After the loss of the breakfast wrap, I'm less inclined to go but by the amount of branded rubbish about in the surrounding areas it is a very popular place to visit the drive through and toss the remainder for the seagulls. Offers convenience and consistency.

Teenagers that have no customer service skills and no math skills. Order is always wrong when we get delivery so we stopped ordering. Today I went in, ordered 2 things, and it was wrong! Medium fries, small drink. How do you mess that up? When I told her I had ordered medium, she tried to get me to pay the difference. I had already paid for medium fries. New building, same incompetence.

I gave them a 2 star rating 2 months ago for their delivery orders. Always wrong. After the remodel decided to go inside. First order an Irn Bru was a Tango. Not too bad. Second order, TWO items, and they still couldn’t get it right! A small drink and a medium fry. They give me a small fry. It’s practically unbelievable at this point. If someone told me 10 orders in a row were wrong I would say they’re exaggerating. No. This is literally what is happening. Every single order is wrong!

By far the worst experience I have ever had at a McDonalds, ordered for table service waited 35 minutes and still no food. When I went to the counter to ask the staff looked at me for around 10 minutes and didn’t ask me what was wrong, I had to go behind the counter to ask. When I did I was looked at like I was worthless! No wonder the google review score is terrible, google reviews are designed to drive business and judging from the no customers in the place I’d say 3.6 is generous. Will not be back and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go.

Just got my usual Big Mac Meal. My favourite

No sauce ,no napkins ,milkshake was off smelled bad 😭 chicken burger was cold with a hint of spice 🤢

This place gave me food poisoning from just a big Mac and fries. Have went numerous times before no problem other than hairs in my food what do you expect, but learnt my lesson now.

Food from here as usual was up to good standard and service was brilliant, atmosphere was damped by a heavy set fella in the corner who kept loudly announcing “I’m loving it” while dribbling his McFlurry all down his fat chin!

Conveniently located in retail park next to Hamilton West train station. Decent service time through drive thru however design of these places for drivers using this service and others using normal car park always causes confusion. Food warm but had a take a space for a couple of minutes for it to be brought out to car - still no issues with food tbh. Service good just the delay in getting food due to inconvenience of choosing drive thru but then having to park up meaning I might have been quicker just popping in... overall though not a bad experience and will be back for sure.

Bad service. We ordered mcplant meal and paid, but then they said that they don’t have it in stock… it’s really ridiculous…

A bit of a late review but the review system wasn't working. A couple of weeks ago had an order for lunch for the family and one of the Big Tasties although marked as a bacon one, it was made as a spicy one. That was left for later on and found out of the error later that day. As I came back to fix this, a blonde girl called Sarah working backshift that day went above and beyond to fix the error from the moment she saw me approach the restaurant. Friendliest, kindest, most helpful and very hardworking, this review is all about her service. A great example for others to follow. Go Sarah!

A+ a bit small shop though, chaos on busy days

From 99 orders, every time something is missing.. Frustant to check every time the bag to see if something is missing.

The customer care assistant by the name of Adan looked very dapper and was professional in his role. He was very helpful when the machine broke and helped me recover my receipt when I forgot my order number. Adan also helped me to locate the straws as it was too big for me to find my way around. I also witnessed Adan help a elderly citizen in the store this was very wholesome.

Ordered food from drive in Discovered Order short when home and there not answering phone

Really disappointed with this McDonalds. I always have to sit in the rubbish sized car park waiting for my food to come out to me, therefore it goes against the whole idea of "fast food". The staff never seem happy and the amount of time I'm told my sweet and sour sauce is in the bag but to later find out it's been forgotten again. Food is mediocre and I'm sure the size of chips is the same regardless of if it's small, medium or large. The just eat drivers seem to take presidence over everyone else.

Was ok , way too many young people behind the counter Way to many delivery drivers waiting in front of the counter . So many potential accidents waiting to happen You can see the delivery drivers ready to pounce on their order , glaring at the ordinary walk- in customer I found by sheer amount that it was a bit intimidating 😳 Last time in for a happy meal 😋 ☺️ 😊 🤗

Terrible service and attitude off male member of staff!! Chips lukewarm and soggy as seems to be the new manner in which they are dispensed. Order wrong again, this seems to be standard procedure.

Quick service. Only in for a coffee but delivered pronto. Very small store, but clean. Staff were out cleaning carpark during visit. Number of parking spaces and usual drive through.

Messed up my order big time, ordered chilli cheese bites along with my double cheese burger meal, asked for 4 knowing fine well that they only sell them in either 4 or 12 bites, no ice with my coke either too, got home sat down ready to eat and low and behold I have 4 PACKS of chilli cheese bites, not a single pack of 4, but 4 packs, 16 cheese bites and I was thinking did they put in 3 extra by mistake no, charged me for the 4 packs. Not the only issue I've had in the past with this McDonald's site.

It's always nice here. Staff are always chatty and welcoming. Small parking area but big on customer service with the staff always fast at bringing your food hot to your pick up bay.

Customer service is appalling, cheeky rude staff including the manager. Remember when McDonald’s staff had customer service training, they clearly don’t now given their attitude. No WATER available for Happy meals, refused to give them a bigger bottle and gave them tap water instead. The chips are always cold, they regularly run out of syrup for milkshakes & recently had no nuggets either. Given the poor reviews the owner of this branch clearly needs to take action.

This place is a total joke, robots would do a better job. Got a just eat delivered and the chips were that stone cold even Steve Austin would have been given a run for his money. If you don't want to work in a McDonald's then don't it's that simple. If the council only emptied half the bins on a street people would complain, but it seems even for what it's meant to be (cheap rubbish food) it actually lives up to that. It's meant to be edible at least. The franchise owner needs to do a bit of staff training, because they can't even get the basics right.

Going through the drive through for a coffee something I do most mornings. Young girl spilled almost a whole cup of coffee over my hand scolding me. No apology acted as if it didn’t happen no offer of a napkin. I mentioned sport would’ve been simple and acceptable but no looked away hoping it would just disappear.

Absolutely shocking. Today I ordered McDonald's for me and my kids, what I received was shocking and disgusting. The bag was ripped open and the boxes were open as well, There was bites taken out of the chicken nuggets and very little chips and a half bitten chip inside the bag, McDonald's refused to refund me as I did not have photos of it which I think is outrageous, never coming back here. The food was also cold and took over hour to get her, my kids were screaming and crying because they did not get their food they waited over a hour for, £28 wasted and no refund, shocking.

I never coming in this McDonald’s. Staff no good no courtesy . I have buy the meal for my children and me and my wife have other food with us , they told us we could not eat anything other than McDonald's and kicked us out. they were rude and as a customer I say I will never set foot in a McDonald's again especially this one in Hamilton.

So the adverts are all over the telly, the big tasty is back !! Sorted, I looooovvee a big tasty, (it is Christmas after all). After dropping my daughter at a dentist [hi Una] just round the corner, I proceeded with great excitement/trepidation/salivation to the above named McDonald’s. “Can I have a Large Big Tasty with Bacon meal please, with diet coke” only to be told sorry we don’t have big tasties or diet coke today……….wait what, no big tasties or diet coke. After taking some minutes to absorb the disappointment and pick my jaw up off the floor, I was so shocked all I ended up ordering was a white coffee and forgot to ask for sugar………I had been soooo looking forward to my first big tasty in months. Adverts all over the telly …well it is Christmas after all …Just don’t ask for one.

Sat in a drive thru for ages, other queue had 6 cars through before we got served. When we paid, sat a minute before driving to the window to collect food. A woman appeared to tell us our card was declined. Took our card and did it again said it decline again. Asked for void receipt she said they don’t do those. Told us to wait in queue and drive round again. Never going back.

Usually very prompt at serving. Sometimes forget some items but I realise it's a very very busy branch at times. Parking are is inadequate. Not nearly enough spaces at times and most parked vehicles are delivery drivers.

Used to be great, and quiet, but now since Covid19 it's just mainly processing orders for drive thru or justeat, whos drivers now . Can't sit in anymore, too many drivers just hanging around in it waiting for orders, which are prioritised. Very claustraphobic, don't bother going if you plan to sit in. Avoiding from now on i think.

Ordered food from just eat, food didn't get delivered. Manager was very rude when asked where is our order. I've been to another Macdonald in Hamilton never had any complaints. But stay away from this one,as they don't care!

First time @ Maccy D's for 2 yrs, thought i would have a wee treat, oops 3 cheeseburgers, "large fries" & strawberry milkshake, burgers were cold, fries weren't large, now when i say the burgers were cold, seriously i been to the drive thru and got my food home warmer, & you only get 1 ✨️ for the milkshake,

Ordered two full meals. One full meal was missing from the order. Done the refund through just eat but tried to call several times. No answer and they cut the call off after it had been ringing for a while.

Absolutely shocking customer service at this McDonalds. Was ordering for a group of kids and had went through the drive through before remembering that I had forgotten to order for one of the kids at home. When I arrived at the payment point, I asked if I could add onto the order (a portion of chicken nuggets). Prob would’ve taken less than a half a minute for the cashier to do this but she refused (said it was company policy as the store was so busy), asked me to drive around and wait in the queue for the drive-through again. I spoke to the Manager and said I was not pleased with the customer service. She ended up just walking away. Very unprofessional. To make matters worst, one of the burgers in the happy meal was all squashed up/folded over. I can just imagine that this was deliberate after me making a complaint. Won’t be returning. Avoid at all cost!!
