Delivery time kept on being put back. Chips could have been hotter.

We have only used the take away for hot food and ice cream. Ice cream choice is amazing. Fish is nice, chips are ok. Disappointed that fritters are only available occasionally! 😣 The counter staff are not friendly, even tho we are regular customers. They never make conversation with you and are reluctant to chat with you, if you make conversation with them. Most of them look like they are unhappy to be there! It's always very noisey and quite difficult to hear what they are asking you. They are always too fast to ask for payment before you have even completed your order. Another minor gripe is that they are reluctant to fry fresh fish at request, if you are having to wait for pizzas or what ever. The ordering/waiting area "system" is a total shambles as there is no proper system in place for who is waiting to order and who is waiting for their order, as people are standing all over the place at the hot food AND the icecream counter. 😩 I hope the management take our feedback on board, to give their customers a much better service experience! We quite like the food but definitely not the poor service. 😡

Well I take back comments I've made about service from staff in this restaurant before. From the second we went in till the second we left, the member of staff who normally works the front counter was so friendly. She really interacted with the customers, I was there along another two another men having a laugh etc and she was joining in and having a laugh with us. What a joy it was to be served by her. The food was nice and the dessert portions were more than generous. Thank you again.

Only came for an ice cream for my son today but never been before. The young man serving was excellent would hesitate in hiring him at all. Very professional, friendly and knowledgable which you don’t often see with young staff at times but fair play top class 👍🏻

Rather expensive only let down

Conveniently located and a lovely diner type atmosphere. It is small, so there is only one member of wait staff to cover everyone. They are hard working to say the least. Sundaes were delicious. Coffee more average. Would go back.

Friendly customer service and chips were nice. However, those were easily the worst pizzas we’ve had in a long time that we couldn’t finish. The base isn’t made of actual pizza dough, it’s more of a flat bread with almost non existent tomato base (maybe it evaporated in the oven?), the mozzarella cheese is extremely bland and somehow runny like half cooked egg white (weird I know), spicy mince smells and tastes very old (greasy too). Overall bland and tasteless but also smelly and tasting cheap.

Went there Sat 1st. Brilliant fish and chips. Service great. Not too expensive. Definitely be back.

Got a takeaway sausage and a portion of fritters it was clearly the leftovers from earlier in the day the batter was like rubber and it was barely warm I have used Equis for years but will never be back if they think it's ok to sell food of that standard to customers

The fish was lovely and even though i am not a big chips lover they were nice, jyst too mych for one person. Over the fush was lovely and batter crisp

The only thing wrong with my delivery is someone should tell the delivery driver that you keep pizza flat and not upright because the pizza just fell to the bottom of the box and the fish was all messed up but the taste was good as always

The food was utterly dry and tasteless, this is not the first time this has happened, the chips were over cooked, dry and tasteless, the fish was clearly a cheaper, smaller and of lower quality than normal, ridiculous!!

Absolute disgusting behaviour off staff member towards young boy serving. He made mistake and Never put order up on board but shouted the order though and Took payment and was then told because of this he was to go home. My partner asked if he was being serious about sending him home and was told yeah it’s got nothing to do with you. Absolute disgusting treating a young boy who’s probably trying to earn some extra cash

Been going here for years. Fish is always great, but don't go for the special, breadcrumbs too hard. Ice creams awesome.

This is one of the best chiplys in Cambuslang but when you order through just eat it's a lottery what you actually get.I spent £28 on my dinner which I was looking forward to.But instead of pizza and other things I got a fish supper with 2 pickles.I hate fish and pickles.Contacting shop is a waste of time as they blame just eat.So be warned open bag and double check what you actually receive.Sorry Equis no more.Toast n scrambled eggs and save a fortune.

Do not order from here with just eat app absolutely hopeless.Totally wrong order delivered and when phoning shop they pass the buck to just eat.So please check order before driver leaves or you'll starve.

Excellent food and delivery was 1st class

meal was really nice but two items were missing the coleslaw and pickled onion

Slightly disappointed that one of the ice creams had been tipped over in the bag and spilled out of the tub, so had to scrape it into a new bowl.

Delivery on time but map took him to the wrong address and he had to call to get directions. Would be better if the driver knew the area or could rely on app to take him to correct address

Every time I order from Equis on just eat there is an issue with the driver finding my house? I’ve been here 13months and no other delivery issues

continually pushed time back for delivery. seems to happen constantly using just eat.

I ordered from just eat sausage supper and 10 inch pizza which arrived within approx 20 mins The food was hot however the pizza was slop it was coming through the bottom of the box the onions on it were solid it was so sloppy I couldn't pick it up I took it back to equis they were dismissive and refused to give me my £11 back telling me I have to claim it from just eat I told him he cooked it and cut he must have seen it was clearly was undercooked slop he tried to blame just eat stating they take too long to deliver Absolute nonsense it was fast delivery the sausage supper was piping hot I will never order from them again

Items not delivered, heard staff making personal comments about me over the phone. Really rude and unprofessional. Don’t recommend at all.

Disgusted by service received tonight. I have used this restaurant for years. Placed an order through Just Eat, received a call to say main items were not available. Annoying but not a big problem. I advised Equis that I wanted to cancel and was told that the driver was already at the restaurant. I asked to speak to a senior member of staff and subsequently heard a staff member making personal comments about me over the phone. When I spoke to the manager, they became very abrasive, denied all knowledge and passed me straight back to the person who had made a comment in the first place. Won’t be back.

I have been unable to contact you because I wanted delivery not pickup. I think it is ridiculous that I can't phone you.

My fish supper lay on my doorstep for at least 6. Minutes due to the cold weather I stated that will be cold in this weather . I was asked for code dident find it then asked for last four digits of my phone number I got a digit wrong . Supper cold

very disappointed with the pizzas we ordered. They were cold on arrival, but worse, they were wet and sloppy. in the middle , to the extent that most of the toppings slid off the dough. This has happened a couple of times now of times now, We suspect frozen pizza bases not being cooked correctly

Food was cold on arrival as driver got lost. He was rude when delivering as if it was my fault. The address given was correct. Fish and chips would have been lovely but late delivery meant it was cold.

We popped in for their ice cream which is very good. I have been looking for an ice cream parlour which can make a real Knickerbocker Glory! I read the menu and thought yes this sounds as if it could be a proper K.G. How disappointed was I when it came. Nothing like the description on the menu. No strawberry sauce or fresh strawberries. No roasted nuts or nuts of any kind and to top it all, No Cherry on the Top! It was basically ice cream with cream and some kind of sauce. Some lovely wafers on top. The service was pleasant. We still go in with our granddaughter to buy ice cream. I'm still searching for an authentic Kickerbockef Glory!

My food was an absolute disgrace. My entire pizza was mashed up all smushed up together completely inedible would like a refund.

Pizza went in the bin as no taste and thick soft like a baguette bread rather than a pizza dough - would give zero if i could complete opposite of a good pizza - soz guys but so dissappointed

Can’t fault the quality or taste of food from Equis. The delivery driver that delivered my order though was shocking, instead of leaving the pizza flat, they put it up on its side and all the toppings slid to one side of the box

Bit rough around the edges but great food and nice people. Breaded haddock is fantastic.

Fish and chips were the usual high standard and delivery was bang on time.

The fat needs changing, the quality of the sausage was terrible and the chicken was very dry. Absolutely awful!

We never received this order and driver was super rude this isn’t Equis fault as we can’t recommend them enough and when we called them they could have been more helpful but it’s upsetting that it can’t be sorted

Chips not a generous portion. Re lateness food not that warm. Bag they were in all scrunched up. All of these comments do not usually apply. It is usually superb.

Great place for a classic chippy. Easy to park, good prices. Curry sauce is good has a small kick to it. Equi's ice cream is my favorite of all the local brands, silky and smooth, good flavour choice and great taste. Can also sit in within the restaurant at the rear, very reasonably priced and laid back atmosphere.

The delivery driver refused to give me my food that I have paid for in full, he was demanding a security code and rambling on about me proving who I was! I have never been treated so appallingly, he left with my food, effectively stealing it!

I had the special fish & chips,first time using, unfortunately not for me, I found the fish very greasy & chips weren't very hot. boxes were placed into paper bag , but no hygiene stickers & the box was open, that kinda put me off. I'll not be back. sorry.

Lovely place the fish was fresh as where the chips lovely wee place to visit if your looking for somewhere to sit in staff are brilliant nothing is a bother for them will definitely be back again and the ice cream is beautiful as well

took my family ages to get our drink orders in, once the food was ready which took a while it came out never got our drinks. orderd the chicken breast and couldn’t even cut it with the knife. it was so dry and wasn’t good service at all

Fast friendly delivery. Pizza cooked perfect chips also really good. Very enjoyable meal.

Always looked forward to fish and chips from here as a treat. I have been eating from here since the shop opened but tonight for the second time the taste from the fish and the batter tasted of cheap or unchanged oil. Not as tasty as it once was, sad to say will be trying elsewhere from now on.

Ice cream doesn't need to be explained it's always amazing. Love their sausage suppers 🍽 😋

Fantastic Quality and piping hot on delivery.

Good food, but the management should be ashamed of themselves. Not close to enough staff to cope. It took over 20 minutes for our table to be cleared, customers being sst at still cluttered tables as the staff couldn't clear them quickly enough. I felt sorry for the staff!
