Lovely chips and curry sauce I had. The man that served me was lovely. Inside looked like a nice wee place to grab a wee bite to eat. I would definitely come here again.

Lovely little restaurant in Rutherglen. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the waitress was very nice and nothing was too much trouble for her,alterations to the menu were allowed no bother. Has a mix of regular customers and passers-by, I had my daughter and 6 year old grandson with me and they had a nice time too,the waitress was good with my grandson, talking to him etc.

I love all of their tasty dishes, especially the fritters, fish & chips, and ice cream 🤤. The service is fast, and the staff are friendly.

Would give zero stars if I could they try to over charge you for the order

Had a sausage supper at lunch time. Sausage was lovely but chips were awful. It's reasonably priced up to 2.30 for suppers everyday. After this time, prices do jump

Wouldn't recommend. This place they have signs up saying cash only don't accept debit cards but they have a card machine under their counter as they let me pay with card last week but owner looked angry as he had yo use it I guess there dodging paying and fees for using tje machine so don't be fooled people you can pay with card in these premises. They have to let you pay with card as most places do card payments

Had fish And chips , chips reheated fish very small. Also cash only doggy.Not be back 😂

Fancied a break from the sun when we came across this little cafe/takeaway so ventured inside. My wife had tea and cake, the most fantastic tasting cake she has had was her description. For me it had to be ice cream and with a range of flavours avaiable, it was Mint and Strawberry - delicious, Very chatty owner who made us very welcome and was proud of the fact that his premises were so clean. Interestingly, I had to agree when I went to the loo. Spotless, something which I often use as a test of the hygiene in a place. All in all an enjoyable visit which, fortunately we noticed, could have been marred by the cash only rule. Even more fortunately, we did have cash so it wasn't a problem.

Excellent pizza. Best in Rutherglen by far. Wonderfully clean. Really friendly staff. Their prices are soooooo low!

I got a fish supper. When I opened it I thought there was no fish. It looks like the size of my hand. There was a small broken piece of batter, and this very small kids size fish. I'd never go back there.

Ordered through just eat £30 worth of food. recieved my order pizza was cold sausage was just warm and fish was missing!! My friend called to inform parts of order was missing and food was cold staff told her they would check cctv?????????? Called back to basically say we are lying!! Cctv showed 2 pieces of fish?? Absolutely shocking customer service!!!! When my friend added that the sausage was also cold was basically told " so your adding things on"??? No....... she got her dinner last as was phoning to inform them about the other food. So was then told well that might be the reason why it was cold!!! Shocking!!! No resolution other than we will give you something free next time when told we will not be ordering again said we can send you the missing fish!!?? No thanks everyone has now eaten could we be refunded for the missing fish?? No we don't do that we can send u something free the next time or we can send u the missing fish!!!??? Shocking!!

Go here every week for pizza and pasta food Is delicious. I can’t pass without going in for a Meal. The staff are welcoming and there is a great family atmosphere highly recommend

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food is always cooked fresh and piping hot when served. The fish is the best iv got in the 8 years iv been in Glasgow. Food is amazing, staff are always smiling 😃 and you can feel the family atmosphere they have at there work. 10 stars 🌟 from me. Definitely give it a shot you won't be disappointed. X

Used to be very good. On the last 2 deliveries, the batter was soggy and stuck to the wrappers and portions are much smaller than they used to be. The "jumbo" sausage is a bit of a joke!

One of the best Chippys out there, the main man in charge Mel is the king of fish and chips. Everytime am there its fresh its quick, the fish is battered properly its not all soggy, its the way its meant to be, proper good quality, Mel actually cares about making it nice. Don't feel pure bloated after either, its made proper. The fish suppers are really good honestly . Ignore the negative reviews, folk are so quick to point out the 1 slightly negative experience they've had out of the 50 times they've probably been. Never had any issues going there

Every Thursday while I'm over in Rutherglen I visit Eatalia Kitchen for my evening meal and as I sit in the back cafe dining area enjoying my supper of choice with a pot of tea I can see everything is made fresh to order and I have never been disappointed. Both front of house staff are fantastic with their attention to service. Highly recommend

Got 2 fish and chips tonight and fish was poor batter very soggy not up to usual standards chips very soggy we have had very good fish and chips from this shop but not tonight fish was very hot and chips were hot but very soggy disappointed overall.

It's OK I got baked potatoes with beans and cheese, thd potatoe could have been doing with another 10 min cooking time. Snd that was twice. Other than that it's OK.

Hi prices very small portions the owner would charge you for standing in the shop if he thought he could get away with it stopped going now much better chippys around that give you better portions and are much cheaper.

Absolutely digusted with the service received today - ordered via deliveroo app and was told 40 minutes for delivery brilliant I sit and wait 50 minutes goes by so I call the restaurant to enquire to be told food is ready and waiting and delivery driver should be back soon and it will be straight out I wait a further 25 minutes when I call driver has food and just done another delivery delivery will be with me within 5 minutes. Another 25 minutes going go past still no food. I call and am told the driver is standing outside my door for past 5 minutes with no answer - I go to the door and no one there I get told I should see a black Nissan which has literally just pulled up with cold food which I immediately send back. I then ask for a refund and get told I will need to deal with deliveroo for this. I live chat them to be told only being offered 50% because the food was sent and I would need to call the restaurant direct to complain. I then have to call them back and they actually try to justify not refunding me. TERRIBLE SERVICE would not advise to ever use if you actually want edible food.

Couldn’t get served because they don’t accept card payments. When I asked if they do, they rudely tapped a sign only visible from inside the shop when I had only just walked in and didn’t have a chance to read it. Didn’t feel welcome at all, so I didn’t go back. Staff weren’t wearing gloves and handling money all day seems like a big risk during the pandemic. If you want to take the risk be sure to bring cash.

Got a pizza, the base was very nice but was let down by the cheap processed ham

Ordered a fish supper and a chicken supper today hardly any chips with the chicken and the chicken was quite dry , now where to start with the fish really small very dry wasnt nice at all im afraid i will need to start using a different chip shop from now on really disappointed how a great shop can go downhill so quickly

My Son, brought home a Pizza for his Lunch, from “Eatalia”, and as soon as I saw it, I KNEW I was in the presence of a Masterpiece!! The 2 Slices I was given, presented me with a most beautifully prepared and cooked Dough Base, which had a delicately crispy bottom, a bread-yielding, but not soggy at all interior with precisely the right thickness throughout! The ingredients were ALL fresh produce, but not watery, which is where many Pizzerias, fail MISERABLY. None of that here, just a very, very luxurious dish, expertly made. Well done, for making an inspired 360 Degree perfect Pizza!!!

My food arrived but my can of Coke was missing. The driver called her manager and came back saying they had ran out of cans of Coke and handed me a crappy non-socially-distanced pound coin as a refund. I wasn’t offered anything else and to be honest, I was absolutely dying for that can of juice. If they had called me and told me they were out of Cola, I would have picked something else. That would have been decent customer service. I would genuinely have ordered from somewhere else if I knew I was getting no drink with my dinner. It’s been a long day and the kids are in bed, so I can’t just pop out to the shops. I’ve just eaten my chips, cheese and curry sauce and am totally drouthed and resigned to poxy diluting juice. Thanks for nothing Eatalia.

Avoid this place was working in the area today popped in to get some lunch asked to see the lunchtime menu was told we couldn't sit in the sitting area outside as we would have to pay extra anyway food arrived 7 chips and a very small hamburger cost £3.90 ended up sitting on a street bench will never return away

My local go to as a chip shop. But if your buying a pizza they will make you an awesome Italian thin style pizza not to greasy just tasty never had one I have regret buying

Got 2 fish suppers. What I really got was 2 batter suppers fish was nul and void? A slither of white stuff inside the batter. Which I take was supposedly cod. Not one to complain normally but this place I will never be in again. Sorry

A class eating place with a wide choice of food and great, froendly service. I had an Anerfeen Angus beefburger with Italian tomato sauce - top quality - and some of the best chips in a long time. Highly recommended.

Tbh wasting my time leaving a review this company is a joke. I called to place an order which is 5 mins drive or less and the staff told me thats fine it would be £2.50 so i called back with my order and the manager of all people refused my service telling me it was too far a drive for “her” delivery team. The cheek she gave me was terrible customer service and when i checked just eat my post code was valid so i called back just to ask why it was listed and why i was refused she again gave me a load of cheek and point blank told me this is my shop and my staff if we dont wish to deliver to you we wont and thats end of discusssion and then hung up on me. I am disgusted by the way she treated me over the phone and wont be using their service again, not that i have the choice as they wont deliver to me 5 minutes away HILARIOUS!!

The venue was excellent. Good size hall and buffet was great rolls with sausage, bacon just what you need when you’ve been drinking. Very friendly place. Would recommend it to friends.

This is by far the best eatery/chippy in Rutherglen. The daytime menu is VERY reasonably priced and the food is fantastic. Their chips especially are BRILLIANT. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is, because of where it's situated, it doesn't get a lot of night footfall, and if you go on a weeknight after 9pm you often need to hang about while they fry what you want. I know I'm being pernickety, and it really is the only slight downside to the place. If you're ever in Rutherglen, make sure you visit.

Food was pretty decent but missed two items on our order - to their credit though they called about one item, however as we had to rush back to collect we didn't manage to check for anything else missing until it was too late.

We had a good quality, freshly cooked fish supper and tea. Just what the doctor ordered on a cold November day. This shop sells the usual chip shop fayre and also pizzas, pastas and pakoras. Good value and nice for a change.

I love this we chipy it has lovely fritters and there food in general is really nice and you can sit in and have a meal it also does other food such as breakfast foods and others such as lasagna and spaghetti ballanies so good choice of food xx

My Meal was delivered 1.5 hrs after i ordered. Items were also missing from my meal. I was then told i would recieve a fresh pizza......and 2 hours after i ordered i still hadnt received my meal complete. Upon contacting the restaurant. I was told it was the girls fault who deals with the orders and that the restaurant cant be classed as unprofessional due to the error. I was refused a refund due to half my meal being cold now.....and told all i was getting was an apology. Woeful customer Service. Very unprofessional.

Pastas are always lovely. Don’t order anywhere else because you won’t get better.
