They offer wide variety of fillings for rolls and sandwiches. It is best option for a quick lunch during work hours. Also rates are quite reasonable.

I have been going to this chippy for about 40 years, sorry to see it closed, it will be hard to find a replacement.

Decent food for a decent price, really nice workers and customer service. There is lots of good selection, and vegetarian options too.

They were incredibly welcoming and engaging, and we had a delightful conversation about the climate and other topics. Such warm and personable service is rare to come by these days. Regarding the food, the fish was a single, well-sized portion, perfect for one person, and it was flavorful and well-prepared. I highly recommend Gorgie Fish bar, which is conveniently open until midnight.

Nice and delicious sandwich with a huge amount of meat in it. Tasty home made sauce. Must try :) strong coffee as well. something really scottish

Absolutely lovely staff, great food and great prices, was for the first time at a chip shop in years and couldn’t have chosen a better place to visit, in my opinion a must visit in Edinburgh if you want to go to have some authentic fish and chips, or a fried mars bar

Review for Newington Road branch - Pretty disappointed with our visit here. Was deperate for a good Thai meal. It wasn't very Thai. My wife and I both ordered max chilli heat dishes and they weren't even close, my mum thinks a Korma is spicy and she wouldn't have had trouble eating these. No finesse or fragrance as you'd expect with Thai food, low attention to detail, slapped on plate. My dish was very heavy and greasy and my wifes very sweet. What I can't get away from is that it was like a Chinese takeaway doing a Thai Restaurant. Gutted to be honest.

Tremendous Fish Tea...lovely crisp Fish and chippy chips ,tea and bread...and the Famous Chipy Sauce...served by great staff
