Absolutely delicious food the BLT toasted was amazing an absolutely amazing price the canolis as well got told they are were to die for we had to go back for more the customer service was fast and welcoming

We needed a spot that opened early because we had a Timberbush tour to meet. It is 'little' as the namae suggests but the breakfast sandwiches and pastries were very good.

Excellent ham,cheese and tomato baguette with mayo best my husband has ever tasted so much so he went back for another after 2 hours.Lovely coffee and breakfast tea too highly recommended professional staff that were helpful and friendly too.Well done will be back before we go home

Incredible spot for a quick breakfast grab on your way to a tour or reservations for anything close to the Royal Mile next to the castle (House of illusions in our case) We couldn’t of planned a better breakfast. Service was over the top friendly and even made a special sandwich for my daughter with special needs. Would recommend 100%!

5 of us each had a different breakfast bap and they were all superb. Tasty, fresh and very reasonably priced. I'm actually raving another crispy bacon and cheese bap right now! Would be totally worth the 4 hour drive though. Genuinely might do this haha

Found this awesome little take away just off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh Made to feel so welcome by Pablo and the food is nice and fresh. Highly recommended and will visit again when ever we return

We loved this place! Pablo was so friendly. The breakfast rolls and coffee were great and fresh, everything was made to order. I would highly recommend this as a quick breakfast or coffee spot.

We were struggling to find somewhere open for breakfast on a Sunday. Found this little gem and had the most delicious rolls!! So good we came back again Monday! Staff super kind and helpful!

Popped in while waiting for excursion. I opted for the cheese burger and a cup of tea, my grand daughter choose the bacon and cheese roll and hot chocolate.. I have travelled to many countries and tasted many different delicacies and yes I have had my fair share of cheese burgers too.. but I have to say the Cheese burger was by far the best I have ever tasted. I was so exuberant while eating we went back 2 hours later so my grand daughter could have one... customer service was 100%, soup was amazing... being a local I will be Able to come back and I won’t be eating burgers anywhere else. thank you so much for the experience xxxx

Estaba esperando que comenzara mi excursión y el conductor del autobús me aconsejó que tomara un café mientras esperaba. Cuando llegué allí, desafortunadamente apenas tenía efectivo y no aceptaron tarjeta.Le mostré al barista algunas monedas y le pregunté qué podía conseguir por eso. . a pesar de que un Espresso era 1. 60 y tuve 1. 30 todavía me sirvió. Muchas gracias por tu amabilidad. El café era fantástico y regresé a ese lugar para tomar los cafés adecuados (y pagar el precio completo) unos días después.Seguramente pasaré durante mi próxima visita, gracias por ser amable conmigo.

Panini's eran encantadores, mis hijos los devoraron, y un 5. 50 cada uno no rompieron el banco como la mayoría de los restaurantes cerca de la milla real cuando alimentaban a una familia de cuatro. Es una pena que no tengan asientos en el interior, tuvimos suerte de que tuvimos buen clima y pudimos sentarnos afuera en una de sus dos mesas. Personal encantador que nos dejó ordenar mientras mi esposo encontró un banco.

This was a great quick lunch spot for me on my recent trip to Edinburgh. I went there more than once and was never disappointed. One important detail is that it is cash only!!

Ubicado cerca de la Royal Mile (también muy cerca del Castillo de Edimburgo), The Little Inn es famoso por sus Paninis. El único inconveniente es que no hay mucho espacio para sentarse, pero supongo que por eso lo llaman The 'Little' Inn. Ah, y también tienen WiFi gratis! ⁣

We had a short sandwich break here, the staff was very friendly and the food was tasty. Only downside, the seating area is quite small. We even went back the next day. I would definetely recommand!

Posto piccolo con poco spazio per sedersi ma comodo per un panino da prendere e portare via. Personale giovane, educato e disponibilissimo. Se passate di lì e avete un buco allo stomaco questo allora è il posto che state cercando.

If you’re looking for an early opening take away cafe close to the Royal Mile then this is for you. Beautifully cooked sausage breakfast roll in lovely fresh bread. Prompt and cooked to order. Delicious. Highly recommended.

Stopped here and bought two paninis: chorizo and cheese, and Brie and cranberry. Best ones we’ve had and also had 2 very nice hot chocolates. Great food, friendly staff. Highly recommended

Φιλικο προσωπικο ,μικρος χωρος γρηγορο φαγητο....Ο καφες οχι κατι τρομερο,η σκωτια δεν φημιζεται για τον ποιοτικο καφε της αλλωστε...αλλα ηταν οκ...Εμεις πηραμε rolles με λουκανικα bacon τυρι κτλ...'βρωμικο' δηλ...για πρωινο....Ηταν νοστιμο....Μαζι με καφε κοστισε περιπου 6.5λιρες στο ατομο...Εχω φαει κ καλυτερα,αλλα αξιζει γιατι στο royal mile δεν βρηκαμε πουθενα τιποτα που να το φτανει...Cheers λοιπον...οταν ξαναπαμε,θα παμε εκει!

We stopped here for a quick sandwich and were not disappointed. Food was very delicious, we also got lucky that the only table in this mini place was free and we could rest our feet for couple of minutes. Owner of the place was very friendly and talkative. Overall we had a nice lunch and nice time here. We can only recommend it.

Stopped by every morning before our tours. Staff was always friends and since we ordered the same thing every time they knew exactly what we wanted. Loved this place so much, left an Okies Rock t-shirt for our Scottish hottie at the front desk.

Me pasó por aquí para desayunar antes de la excursión. La comida era buena, pero Mi cosa preferida era el servicio mejor comida recibí mi tiempo en Edimburgo. Me dieron un buen desayuno, una alegre charla y caminamos con una opinión mucho mejor de la gente de Edimburgo. Sólo en efectivo, por favor!

El propietario era amable, los bocadillos eran buenas, y está en una gran ubicación en la Royal Mile. Disfrutamos al comedor greco de la bagpiper escucharse.

Los sándwiches y especialmente el calor aquí baguettes son deliciosos! Asimismo, el precio es, sin duda, económico y agradable. Pablo, el chico detrás del mostrador, es muy divertido y ofrece un excelente servicio, 100% recomendable!

Gran servicio, buen sándwiches relación calidad-precio. Hombre de detrás del mostrador era muy agradable. El vegetariano sandwiche es una gran opción.

Had my breakfast there 2 days in a row. Service was great, and the "Just Bacon" roll was absolutely delish!

For the price you pay, this is fantastic. Plenty of filling in the rolls and such great value. Very friendly service and so efficient.If you are in need of a breakfast option in the Old Town or are going on a tour bus, just pop in and fill you stomach. You will not be disappointed...

We stopped at the Little Inn before heading to Edinburgh Castle. The Inn offers a nice selection of Sandwiches, coffees and teas.

Saw this little place just of to the side from the castle as we were looking for something with nice service, nice sandwich, good tea and favorable cost, this is the place. Great baguette made to order stuffed with my choice of filling. Didn't have to pay a fortune. This was a joy as you felt welcome. Happy chappy behind the counter. Definitely go great value, great lunch on the hoof.

Recently visited this little place, quite close to the Edinburgh Castle, blink and you'll miss it, but please dont. We were very hungry and looking for a quick snack / light bite whilst on the move before heading up to the castle. We did not want any tourist trap fodder. We stumbled across this place having avoided some greasy cafe etc. Very pleased we did, the baguettes we both had were lovely, freshly made with good quality ingredients not you high street chain manufactured stuff. We also shared a soup. Together is was substantial and kept us going through to the evening, and very reasonable prices. I recommended it to a local friend who worked around the corner and never new it was there! So there, my pleasure!

The cheapest place in castle area with the most welcoming service! I loved hummorous sandwich, the choices of panini and wild mashroom soup :D a great bonus for customers from Poland is that thay may be happy to meet Polish girl behind the counter :)Superb cool!

Fresh food made on the premises and very good coffee. Would recommend especially for a takeout as not much sitting space - it's a LITTLE inn, after all.

I was surprised at how cheap this place is considering the location. I had a brie & cranberry panini, the wife had the homemade soup, and my daughter had a jacket potato. All were great - and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Why go to MacDonalds when you can have proper food cheaper?

Visited here on a recent 2 night stay to Edinburgh and wanted a quick on the go sandwich. We ordered haggis baguettes, Lady was lovely. Price reasonable, served hot and fresh and tasted scrummy. Highly recommend.

I visited here for a quick spot of lunch before going to the castle. The lady was due to close soon but still happily helped us with a smile. We both had a panini which was amazing and at a great price. The lady was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We then went back the next day too!

I have to admit to being a little surprised seeing a couple of reviews mentioning rude staff. I visited on a busy Saturday during the fringe festival with my dog and was very impressed with the service on what can't have been an easy day. The two girls in the shop were very friendly with smiles all round and good humour. They also took the effort to supply a water bowl for my dog without me having to ask. Perhaps I was served by different staff but the manager of this place should be very grateful of whoever was working on the afternoon of Saturday 30th August.

This is a decent little coffe shop serving the usual array of food and drinks for lunch or a snack. I had a coffee and savoury, both of which were nice without being outstanding. The price was as you'd expect.

Cute little take away cafe right off the royal mile. One of the best lattes I've ever had. Great friendly service and free wifi.

Went in to get some lunch, I got a sandwich and a milkshake, the lady who served me was so rude, when I asked for my chocolate milkshake she rolled her eyes at me and literally moaned. I was the only customer inside the shop at the time, why offer milkshakes if you can't be bothered making them. The sandwich was alright, nothing to write home about. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who expects a smile and at least some sort of decent customer service.

Had a really nice fresh sandwich with a quality coffee, amazing variety of food available considering how fresh everything was! Shall be in again!

£4 for a fruit smoothie - more than happy to pay this elsewhere but this mostly tasted of ice rather than fresh fruit.Sausage sandwich was average and ok for the price Would never go back as staff were incredibly rude had must better service elsewhere...try somewhere else there are plenty of other places near by!

Had a course on down road, early and missed breakfast so popped in for sandwich- the two veggie options were one with pesto and parmesan (to be called parmesan must have calf rennet in) and Tuna salad sandwich. Advised girl serving that tuna not vegetarian and she shrugged- I explained it not grow on a tree/ plant- (pescetarians each just fish no other meats) but veggies (check veggie society) no meat!! She said she couldn't change it as she not the manager...........
