Good price, jumbo portion (for Asian) friendly staffs, I always come by at least twice in a week

First time we ordered from Toni's. We asked for kebab for 6pm and it arrived at 4.30pm! A can of coke is £1.60 and there's an excessive delivery charge and, after all that it was rubbish. First and last - don't waste your time, energy or money. Totally disappointed.

ordered from here a jumbo sausage supper and what i received couldn't believe my eyes so phoned them and explained that i received small two sausages and they explained they ran out fair enough they ran out but then told us they added 4 small one so i had to argue with who ever answered the phone that there was only 2 small sausages he was right down rude but now apparently getting another 2 sausages sent out honestly fumin just wanted my order to be right is that so hard honestly never ordering from here ever again 😡

Sending wrong orders and blaming customers. Then admit they just sent whatever! No idea if they’ve changed hands but whoever’s in charge is downright rude. He’s lucky I wasn’t able to go in person to tell him where to shove his chips in front of his other customers. Idiot.

What the hell has happened to Tony's? Ordered food, went to shop, away for 10mins, came back, waited 10 mins and still not ready! Was only a fish supper. Too much focus on deliveries, not enough on face to face customers. Don't know who was doing the frying and what was up with him but his mind definitely wasn't on the job and the way he spoke to the lasses that work there was appalling. Walked out. Lost a good customer.

New owners now but still called Tony's.. food is good, delivery still around an hour wait so its popular, staff areo nice.

We have been going here for 20 years but since it changed hands it’s absolutely terrible avoid this so called chippy

Bought a vape from here it was broken when I puffed it the light wouldn’t go off and it kept blowing smoke very disappointing 😔😔

Fish batter is always soggy and not edible. So much oil it just drips off. Room for massive improvement or room for another chip shop to open and compete

Never had a problem with them apart from they never put enough brown sauce on my food I love my chippy sauce.... and they're getting a wee bit too expensive nowadays so that's a bit sad 4 people like me

Worst takeaway going. Waited 2 hours and 10 minutes on a Wednesday night for my order. When I phoned up for an update at 1 hour 40 I was told “my food was sitting waiting for the driver to come back” that would explain why it was freezing cold. Woman on the phone also said “we don’t normally deliver that far” (2.5 miles away)… don’t put on your website that you deliver to most of Edinburgh then… food was absolutely awful. Would recommend not ordering from this place unless you’re into 2 hours for cold minging food.

We ordered via uber eats. Food arrived on time but it was clearly old and had been sitting out for a while. The pizza crunch was extremely chewy, the batter wasn’t crispy at all and the insides tasted like chewy, reheated via microwave pizza. The chips were soggy and some of them tasted cardboardy. The battered haddock had multiple bones in and the batter was chewy, soggy and not crispy. We ordered quite late after having a long day, so it’s likely that they gave us old food items. We ate what we could but had to throw a lot of it away. Food could be better earlier in the day but after this experience it’s fair to say that we won’t be ordering from here again to test it. Overall, food wasn’t fresh, crispy or worth the money. The food was soggy, old and not enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It is, at best, unreliable.

Sorry guys, but maybe it's my luck or just people who working there not give a f... 1st order get pizza wrong and some fish supper 🙂 plus extra charge for tin base 🤣. Now I order haggis supper and ask for lots of sauce and vinegar get almost nothing on (you can see in photo). Really not happy. Delivery time said 17:30 but come 18 😔

Barry chippy fills a hole, any chippy that gives to a whole smoke sausage and have some good chippy chips are great in my mind.

I phoned for a delivery last night at 6:33 pm I then had to phone back at 8:18 pm and again at 8:49 pm and I was told on each time that they was waiting on the delivery driver to come back to the chippy I then phoned at 9:27 pm and was told that it has just left the chippy and at 9:55 pm it turned up it cost £39.50 the food was warm and I never got my juice or the hamburger roll i asked for the service was terrible and bear in mind I only stay about 10 minutes away i will never order from this chip shop ever again they have just lost a customer that pays around £40 / £50 each time I order

Horrible excuse for a chippy,delivery driver is a dole scrounging fiddler, food was less than adequate, fish tasted stale,chips were cold, this place needs a health warning placed on it,better still close it permanently.

Ordered at 6.30pm via their app, it said a 10 minute delivery. phoned at 7.45 to be told food was on its way, had to call back again at 8.10 to be told its just left. If I hadn't already paid I would have told them to forget it. Eventually arrived at 8.30. 2 hours is ridiculous defo won't be using them again.

Great food but was just under an hour for delivery. Driver doesn't carry change for delivery. Hubby not very happy with that. But food is excellent.😋😋😋😋..

Waited two hours for the delivery when phytoestrogens said he had been at my door but my buzzer never went shocking service plus a never got exactly what we ordered will NOT no ordering from there again

Been in here a few times and most recently myself and my partner got large chips but they weren't the same as previously. The portion size was smaller so in future will just get small and see what they look like. They still taste the same good.

Usual great quality and speedy delivery .Every Time at least 10 min before expected delivery time. Just dont complain if u order during busy period as we all know some times u need to thunk ahead ..

placed an order online on the 9th march .. got an email to say order was placed and payment received .. waited an hour and a half to call them to be told there was no order existing (their internet was working for them to check this at the time i called ) I never once receieved an a apology or advised that they would prepare and get it to me asap was just told we have no history or proof of this and got told to call back later if i wanted to speak with the manager .. which i did about 3 hours later n all i got was the broadband was down do you want your food well NO just my refund please to which i was told i had to wait for itnto properly come out my account as it was through paypal i called back days later when this happened to be told i will get it dropped off cash even though on the website it clearly states refunds will be issued back into your account within 7 days it is now 23rd march and still no had anyone at my door with my refund! also months prior to this i had tony and his wife wandering about my back garden banging on my little girls window she was petrified ! i went to the door with tony being so rude demanding a payment for an order that was for my neighbour upstairs they got the wrong house!

Twas Barry n the sausages filled me dog and me very satisfactorily. The dog did say less vinegar and more meat but that's the dog for ya =). Her names Molly btw and the wife is Claire if anybody wants her( wife not dog! Dogs ace);)

Got a fried pizza with onions on it to open it to find a rock hard crust and the rest to be dripping with grease on it was that disgusting it made me sick from the smell of grease the pizza was basically mush so I think use either are too lazy to cook proper food or need to fire someone and everytime I get a delivery from use you over charge and always screw the order up never the right thing and your excuse is come back tomorrow to sort it that's not good enough I strongly think you deserve to be shut down can't even cook a simple meal properly no stars for you for waste of money and time 😡👍🏻

Ordered a takeaway a few weeks ago and it was too greasy (yes I realise that everything is deep-fried) and cold. The pizza was mushy and uncooked in the middle.

Ordered 24" pizza was over cooked i'v had better frozen pizza very poor and was not hot won't be back sorry to say

Asked for a large and a small portion of chips and got given a small with more in it then the large, paid to much for what I actually got!

I HAD A CHICKEN SUPPER FROM HERE IT WAS OK A LITTLE DRY BUT THEN TWO HOURS LATER I AM ON THE TOILET FOR TWO DAYS THEN COLLAPSED RUSHED INTO HOSPITAL TWO FLUID DRIPS INSTALLED WAS IN HOSPITAL WITH SEVERE FOOD POISONING FOR SIX DAYS LATER THAT MONTH WHEN I WAS WELL ENOUGH I WAS PASSING THE FISH AND CHIP SHOP IT WAS JUST OPENING I LET THE OWNER KNOW WHAT HAPPENED MAINLY SO HE WOULD MAKE SURE THAT IT WOULD BE CHECKED OVER BETTER BUT HE JUST WENT OH RIGHT NEXT TIME YOU COME IN YOU CAN HAVE A FREE CHICKEN SUPPER FUNNILY ENOUGH I NEVER TOOK HIM UP ON THAT OFFER BUT THERE WAS NO OH REALLY SORRY ARE YOU OK NOPE OFFER ME THE THING THAT NEARLY KILLED ME FOR FREE SEE IF IT WORKS SECOND TIME ROUND NOT AMUSED

Staff are very rude delivery was wrong and paid extra for things I didn't get phoned them up and they will deliver tomorrow which obviously isn't good enough wouldn't even give them 1 star absolute shambles

This takeaway takes the piss with delivery service who do they hire idiots or what they can't deliver and staff don't put ur order through u have to chase after them to get an order or walk to the takeaway itself to get it order yes there sorry about it and give u a free bottle of juice why don't they hire good delivery staff
