Good chicken wrap, very spicy be careful if sensitive to chili, delicious tartar sauce and INCREDIBLE fried Mars!!!!! I highly recommend

super welcoming space, come here for lunch every day, food is brilliant as well, I always get the pizza with chips and gravy, highly recommend!

Just a heads up that late at night they turn their screens off with their pricing so they can overcharge people that they think are drunk. Otherwise, food is solid and tasty even if it is grossly overpriced

Tried the fried snicker bar, it was very delicious! You can ask them to split the bar in two to share. Very good service!

Great place to eat at when in Edinburgh, they serve a wide variety of food such as fish and chips, kebabs, pizzas, burgers and the traditional deep fried mars bar. The staff are also very kind and welcoming when entering the shop.

Deep fried Mars Bar is surpisingly nice. Also available, deep fried Bounty, Kit Kat, Snickers, and fish!

Very good place to grab a quick bite and for a good price. Me and my GF had morzarella sticks and fish and chips. Both arrived fast and cheaper than in many other places I've seen so far. I ain't an fish&chips expert but I was definitly happy with what I got. This place also offers fried Mars (and Snickers) bars for much less than in other restaurants (5£ instead of up to 10£). The staff was also very friendly when we've been there.

I really enjoyed the fried pizza! Unusual but really tasty. Also we wanted to change the order last minute and they have no problem doing that.

On a trip to Scotland and wanted to try pizza crunch and deep fried mars bar. Looked for recommendations and found Cafe Piccante and it didn't disappoint. All very fresh and tasted amazing. Staff very welcoming and friendly :) would definitely recommend to others!

Lukewarm expensive chips. This place has gone downhill. Not good enough. Maybe complacent as they’ve been around a long time. Needs to improve.

Edinburgh.... Deep fried Mars bars. Then.. same... with ice cream. The Wife had chips n sauce. A local delicacy... wasn't too bad. I tried a few.... quite nice. Wine n a beer. I made a point of that. Enjoyed it. Great staff.... lovely place.

If they can batter it they will. Literally anything you can think of. Good quality is great, prices are affordable. Staff are friendly as an added bonus

The place is super nice. In the centre so it's easy to find and with variety of dishes. The people working there made us feel very welcomed and they were making sure that we were comfortable at all times. The food is really tasty and made quickly. A must if you are coming to Edimburgh.

Have been here several times now. Great food and late at night too :) had a chicken shawarma the first time with spicy sauce, second time went with mates for chips and garlic bread. All delicious foods, large portions and friendly staff. Plenty of space to sit in and have a chat. Thx Cafe piccante

Pretty expensive place for what you get. The kebab isn't the best you can get in Edinburgh.

Really good fish and chips, much better than what you get in the US. I've never had chips with brown sauce, and I'm not sure I can have them any other way now. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in Edinburgh.

This is a chip shop nothing more, I paid £10.60 for sausage and chips and a bread bun/roll Break this down. Chips £4.50 yes FOUR POUNDS AND FIFTY PENCE. I thought £3.00 in Newcastle was expensive. In Newcastle you get double the chips as well! Bread bun/roll £1.00 Leaving the sausage at £5.10 albeit two sausages. Though I genuinely only wanted one and there was no choice to have only one. This is very expensive to say the least. Just an example of a couple of other prices. It did taste okay mind, but nothing special for these prices I'm partial to the odd kebab, yes I'm a fat bloke, £11.99 here, in Newcastle £7.00. I cannot compare quality as I didn't have one here and in Newcastle it's hit and miss with the bab shops there. A work friend joked about bringing him a deep fried mars bar Not for £8.50 mate, get your own. Now I'm guessing this sort of place is catering mainly to students as they are open until 02:00 and if they are happy to spend their student loans on this, then so beit. Not I said the fly!

Best deep fried Mars bar (and other chocolate options) in Edinburgh. Wide selection of standard takeaway offerings, but at high quality in a great atmosphere. We've been coming for 21 years and it's still as good!

Food is fantastic every time I’ve eaten here. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a fair priced delicious meal. I had a hoagie wrap, which was delicious, the chicken was fantastic, the chips were cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh. 10/10 would highly recommend!

This place is a must do to visit in Edinburgh! The owner Salim is lovely, kind, and really looks after his customers. The other staff members are also really nice and welcoming. At the weekends there is a DJ playing fantastic music until 3am which makes it a great place to be. Sometimes it’s Salim himself and has a great choice of music. The food is grest, the fried mars bar was surprisingly very good!! 💯 recommend visiting here, especially late in the evening at the weekend, you will have soo much fun. I didn’t want to leave

It’s a great place if you want to have quick food on the go. They have fresh salad that you can add to your kebab or hamburger. I had the cheese hamburger and it was presented in a clean and timely manner. Definelty a place I would go back when I just left the bar at 1 AM. Way better than alternative places, and service was superb.

We've been here with 3 persons during our vacation in Edinburgh and the food was great! We had typical Fish & Chips, a spicy pizza and some chips with curry. All of us 3 enjoyed the food. The bathrooms were clean. All in all we would recommend eating here
