Kurdish Best Kebab House in Edinburgh, City of

After being their honest costumer for over a year, I have been really enjoying such a nice place for piping hot night food~ I personally favor their chicken pakora and mix doner series( kebab and wraps). the wraps are freshly handmade from dough and so do the pizzas. They get a huge portion of doner in every dish. Really friendly staff and they even remember me with warm greetings! The shop has a quite stylish collection of notes from massive countries which is fascinating, as I can find my own country’s stuff up the wall, also with some crazzz stuff like 500 million zimbabwe dollars notes which worth less than a penny(LOL). Overall, 10 out of 10! سلام

The closest to a North East Kebab I've had since living in Scotland for the last 13 years. Proper chilli sauce. Much prefer this to Pakora sauce. The complimentary Cheesy Garlic Bread was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I often order from them and I have always been satisfied, but the last time was not like the other times, the wrap is definitely smaller, badly closed and with less filling inside. I will give another chance, if it goes like the last time I will not order again

The food and staff were excellent but the owner was crazy and mentally not ok

All I asked, was for less chips and a bit more salad. Was apprehensive at first, however, now undisputed no.1 top spot for a hoagie. These lads are on the ball.

There is a lack of cleanliness. They prepare orders without gloves. Even the falafel tastes very ordinary

So basically the server was a bit pressed tryna hurry us into ordering saying he was about to shut (we walked back past 10 minutes later and he was still serving) however he gave us chicken doner at a good price and it was a very good midnight scran for the three of us, so no complaints there. Bought a chicken kebab out of here tonight. Probably the worst chicken kebab I’ve every tasted. Seagulls seemed to enjoy it!!. Montrose Terrace is better staying closed, saves anyone else getting a rotten takeaway. £8.50 we’ll waisted. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Food is acceptable. I had three different pizzas since i moved here. the dough and tomato sauce is great; unfortunately, they go for the cheapest ingredients, which makes it way worse. for instance, i ordered a chicken pizza but instead of using the chicken meat from the pike, they use some precooked stuff that tastes horrible. don't even ask for the ham, also cheapest and terrible. as someone from germany, i thought the doner kebap sandwhich looked VERY sad. there is a very good alternative 3 mintues away by foot... just saying.

Took a spicy chicken pizza as takeaway today, guys were busy watching football, came home to see half burnt pizza with hardly any chicken on it. I could literally count not more than 5-6 single chicken pieces on it.. Taste was good but had to throw half of it as it was burnt .. Please manage this better, check the pizza before packing it for your customer!

Absolutely worse tasting kebab I have ever had, thinly cut over cooked, re-heated chum. Managed maybe 5-6 mouthful of different parts and threw up shortly afterwords. Horribly greasy meat. Couldn’t even taste what it was supposed to be in parts. They give a huge amount but it is terrible quality. I orders the mega Kebab. No real meat chunks just all the same color looking shawarma type meat with some not so nice doner. Garlic bread was ok 3/5. What a waste of meat this place serves.

Ordered a spicy beef pizza, was super tasty .my 5 year old loved it and he’s a fussy one ! So great pizza 🍕 Also . delivery was quick, .id Deffo recommend. To try Thanks👍

The fresh wraps are back.... please order the kebab wraps 🙏. They are incredible Also, take time to look at the whole menu they have hidden gems. The special chicken kebab meat pizza is beyond good.

Our go to spot for Kebabs, we have never been disappointed. Very quick delivery and good quality food. Chicken pakoras are always solid, and the chicken doner wraps are good too! The small to medium pizzas are pretty good but the large ones can lack taste and sauce from my experience. Either way, we have tried other spots and this one is our favourite!

Food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh so I can't really complain. The kebab itself was pretty average, but I think I've been spoiled by the quality of kebabs in my hometown because Edinburgh really doesn't have a great selection. Really it was fine, just not anything to shout home about.

No idea about their takeaway service but I often pop in here after a night in the pub. Good portions, freshly cooked, friendly people, reasonable prices, and not even remotely pretentious. Ideal.

Very disappointing with food. Mix grill meat was like bitting on a rock, pizza was just as bad as the rest of the food. Will never recommend. One of the worst kebabs house ever!!!!

Pre ordered food for 00:00 at night. Food arrived 15-20 minutes late, lukewarm. Had ordered a 2 litre bottle of Fanta and instead got a 1.5 litre of Diet Coke. May seem somewhat petty, but would appreciate if the establishment would contact me and let me know if they’re out of certain produce, or it’s just a lack of care. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here

Order : Chicken Donner Wrap Salad and sauce Chips and cheese. Review : the wrap would have been suitable for a vegetarian as there was next to no meat in it, loaded with fresh salad and sauce. Chips were soggy and cheese was tasteless. Speedy delivery only good point. Avoid if you want a good quality, loaded with meat kebab - how they should be when you pay £17.00!

Ordered a munchie box , pizza was burnt and only a few chips , almost no salad not even any of the topping they ask you to choose and forgot to bring me my juice?! Phoned and got a new one for free and the chips were undercooked! Absolutely shocking.

SCAM! They charged me twice and then refused to deliver cause I was too far... do not risk it and order from literally anywhere else! Scam of a 'business'

So I place two orders on ubereats and get charged .... I call up and they dont accept orders from ubereats but are still on the app. They say I can pay in cash, I agree. Apparently I live to far away ( I don't). Do not trust them and literally order from anywhere else! Also very unfriendly service borderline hostile.

Good value, good quality typically western Asian/European takeaway restaurant. It is clean and efficient and the guys who run it are friendly, open and amenable.

Although the pizza was okay, they forgot the sauces. The pizza was quite dry and the chips didn't have any salt on them either. I was very disappointed !!!!!

Huge and rich portion for the price. A long wrap cut in two can fill you for the whole day. Only downside and that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars is that both times that I took from them it was not as warm as I'd like almost not at all. Regardless of buy again.

What a surprise, this place has genuinely very high quality kebabs and very friendly staff. Breads are handmade on order and taste delicious. If you are heading to the football, stop off here for your fill.

Passed here and decided to pop back after a drink in the Artisan bar. I had a vegetarian pizza and my other half had a donner kebab pizza. It was lovely, plenty of toppings and the pizza base was delicious. The amount of kebab meat on his pizza was mad! He didn’t like the red dipping sauce as it tasted sweet. Would be back! Defo.

Gross!! Overcooked tiny kebab for 6.50, re heated chips and slimy burger. Food arrived late and quite frankly for 20 quid for a couple of lots of chips, a burger and kebab it was disgusting. I would never use again. Go to pizza paradise near Greyfriars cemetery! Food is amazing and friendly staff.

Visiting from US, staying a block from this kebab house and stopped by to take some dinner home after a long day. Food was terrific and price was very reasonable. Would definitely highly recommend and hope to go back.

Proper chilli sauce to go with the kebab. None of the sweet chilli you seem to get some places. Good quality lamb doner (well as good as you'll get when buying lamb doner), decent portion size and friendly, speedy service.

This place is great. The guys that run it are amazing, the shish meat is always fresh and they make their own bread for the shawarma wraps also their pizzas are on point. Che's on the other side of town is the only other kebab style takeaway in Edinburgh that gets close to these guys and I've tried em all.
