Friendly staff and every energetic, the food was awesome and the butter chicken was my favourite with naan bread, enjoyed the food.

Noor Takeaway is hands down the best Indian/Pakistani restaurant I’ve come across in Edinburgh. The food is absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, authentic, and clearly made with love. Their menu is amazing with a wide variety of dishes, and the prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes you get. But what truly makes Noor special is the owner. He’s incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can see the passion he has for the food and the culture behind it. He talks with such genuine love, it really adds a personal touch to the entire experience. The food was amazing and was brought out very fast. We were a family of 6 and our food took less than 30 minutes and was some of the best food we’ve had. We are visiting Scotland from the US and were looking for a great desi food spot. This did not disappoint one bit. We will absolutely be returning again as long as we are in Edinburgh and will return during our next visit. This place is an absolute staple and I highly recommend.

Amazing food. Very flavourful and tasty. Very kind hospitality. We tried their biryani and wraps. Mango lassi is superb & absolutely recommended.

We were four friends head up to Edinburgh caltonhills or it was princess street really forgot the name cz got really tired and we really felt empty stomach. However we tried going to few places to eat but there was no place to go in that much hurry and finally we have seen this place had our food here food was popping hot really tasty amazing costumer service really enjoyed highly recommend.

The food looks appetizing and freshly made. The naan appears fluffy and well-baked, with a nice char and fresh herbs. The curries seem rich and flavorful, with a good mix of vegetables and spices. If the taste matches the presentation, this is definitely a spot worth revisiting.

Ordered from here with a friend this weekend, both of us now struck down with food poisoning.

We ordered on Mother’s day it was delicious. We ordered 2 set meals and their chicken bhuna and chicken korma was delicious, 5 stars 🌟 Fantastic atmosphere staff are very friendly and helpful which is always a bonus highly recommend

This place used to be our go-to for Indian in Edinburgh but it has definitely not been great the last couple of times, tonight's being the worst. Korma tasted really odd, like they'd used something instead of coconut milk. It has also resulted in food poisoning so won't be going back. Sad times, used to be great.

I fancied a chicken tikka curry and decided to try this restaurant and it was the right choice to do so. the chicken was cooked perfectly,the sauce was beautiful with the onions and peppers. I also bought chip and they came and they were still piping hot and cooked to a great standard. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who love currys.

My food was definitely not edible as it was 30 min late everything was freezing Nan bread freezing chips freezing Rogan josh freezing chicken freezing not good at all had lots of delivery’s from here think I will be using somewhere else from now

The worst place I could ever recommend. I initially they mentioned the delivery problem, and they said they would send the driver again and include a complimentary dessert. However, I still waited for an hour with no response from the restaurant. Absolutely pathetic. 0/10.

Ordered. Delivery late. Items missing. Told to call back another time for full order to be resent free of charge. Agreed. Called to re-order. Hung up on several times. Staff confused by my call. Got told someone would check and call back. After half an hour I called for update. Call picked up twice but no-one spoke to me. I try really hard not to put up bad reviews but I’m fed up, out of pocket and hungry now. Food was nice but sorry to say but I’d avoid due to poor customer service.

Very friendly driver. The garlic nan was very nice. Lamb Bhuna has great flavour but the lamb could be a bit tender. Chicken korma was good.

I come here regularly, and it’s hands down my favorite Indian restaurant. The pakoras are unbeatable. The curries are amazing but also importantly consistent. Really recommend.

Tried both from their official Noor menu as well as their side menu of Bao Buns and loved both of our meals! The owner went above and beyond to not just deliver our food on new year's but also with incredibly generous (and tasty) portions upon revisiting. Definitely worth anyone's custom who are looking for authentic, tasty food with a side of good service every time.

Full Desi Indian Dhaba style food. If you are looking for Authentic North Indian Food, Noor is a place to be. The service was so nice and the food was amazing. Even the Chai was too good (like really made at home with ginger) Just Wow 👏👏 Just tell them if you have any specific preference or requirements (like I asked them to add some green chillies to the Parantha)

We came from Sydney and we did dine in today. The food was really delicious and authentic. The service was very quick and the staffs are very friendly. I am a foodie and trust me, this is a “must visit” place if you want to take a taste of Indian subcontinent.

We were a little reluctant at first to order however it didn’t disappoint. Delivery was on time & the food was delicious! The lamb fell apart and was very tender, the chicken was cooked perfectly with it being soft & tasty. If we lived in Edinburgh we would definitely order again! But unfortunately only visiting.

Chips were a tray of undercooked mush. Onion Bhajis - Even the bin spat them out. Absolutely rock solid and completely inedible, obviously made in bulk in February or something and reheated when ordered. Butter Chicken, lukewarm and like a microwaved Iceland butter chicken. Absolutely horrific.

I'm gluten intolerant. The front of house guy was so helpful in explaining how food is cooked and most of the dishes are gluten free. I asked for the chicken korma and rice and it was delicious. My husband ordered pakora and a spicy mains and he really liked it. I can't understand why this place isn't packed every night. I recommend a visit to Noor.

Absolutely freezing. Had to throw out part of the order because it was so cold. Not even tepid. Freezing.. I’m a fan of Noor and normally they are very reliable. But this was appalling.

I got the meal for one this evening and it was so much food. It was delicious. Delivered to the other side of town, during rush hour in good time.

Quality food, fast delivery, 1st class experience as always.
