The best Indian takeaway in Edinburgh!!! Im so glad I found this place. I love Indian Food and have been struggling to find a decent Indian restaurant to my taste until Noor! We have lamb curry and Paneer tikka, they are out of this world!! We strongly recommend Noor if you are in town and looking for delicious Indian food!!!

First time from here, but wont be the last. It was delivered on time, very fresh and tasty and the price was competitive

I’ve walked into this place at least 4 times now to order a takeaway. Every time they literally ignore you while playing on their phones. Dont bother trying to walk in to order. Such a waste of time.

Owner is lovely and gave us a discount on some food we bought for no apparent reason! Food is also excellent.

Best Indian takeaway in the neighbourhood!!!

Going to a concert at Summerhall I was looking for somewhere close and Noor caught my eye. Good menu with lots of options, including vegetarian. I picked Manchurian Chicken and it was served quickly. Lots of great flavour and presented very nicely too. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices too. Just note that there are limited beverage options - which was fine for me. I'd definitely go back and try more of their menu.

i order an indian from this takeaway when my food was delivered the chicken bhuna and chicken korma the chicken was pink in both and not cooked properly i called up and asked for a refund got told to contact just eat so tried that just eat told me to contact the restaurant that’s not what they can deal with i got nothing but attitude from the customer service guy on the phone and got told he thought i was “making a joke out of this “ and implied that i was lying about this i have photo evidence i can provide and ive just wasted my money on this and not getting anything back and im heavily pregnant and have ate a bit of chicken before we realised

Just had an Indian and both curry’s was raw chicken absolutely disgusting phoned up to be told a was making a joke of it my daughter is heavily pregnant and had a bit of chicken won’t give back any money staff r very rude a would avoid at all cost and will be reported to food hygiene as that’s my job a do disgusting behaviour

Food tasted good but I’m sure my dish was not a Scottish Korma, or if it is the description and photo is vastly incorrect. The colour was not light enough and the taste wasn’t sweet. After waiting an hour for delivery, I didn’t want to wait for a replacement so ate it anyway. Tasted good but would have preferred what the dish that was described.

i spent 25 minutes on the road side in a tshirt freezing trying to direct the delivery man who was at a completly different address ! when i finally got my food it was warm at best !!!!!!

Majority of food was inedible. Raita dip tasted like grass. Spicy onions were nowhere near spicy! The Butter Chicken & Tikka Masala were both bland. They also tasted exactly the same! Rice was tasteless and chewy! Garlic Naan was soggy and the poppadums were soft with no crisp! The only thing we could eat were the pakora and onion bhaji’s .. the rest is sitting in the containers ready to be binned, if anyone from the restaurant wants to pop by they will see for themselves we haven’t been able to eat it! Not impressed at all!

had to phone numerous times for the staff to EVENTUALLY give my number to the delivery driver so he could explain. delivery driver very apologetic. food is very very oily and no containers were marked as to what was what which is very unhelpful when you order 3 different chicken dishes.

King Prawn Bhuna was delicious as always, thank you

The chicken dish had a lot of oil sitting on top. (Kitchen roll) to pick that up - temperature of the meal was around 40 on the food temp. So it needed heating up. Peshwari nann bread did not have a lot of filling and was very dry - over all not to our taste - I won’t say poor as some people may prefer things like that but not for us.

Super authentic Pakistani food. They have amazing student offers with a free tea and a starter. The owners are all super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

I have been living in Edinburgh for 4 years. I could cover almost every Indian restaurant as well as Indian take aways in Edinburgh. Noor Take Away is one of my favourite and I prefer food delivery. The food is delicious .I am impressed with their service. They are very polite and fast in delivery.

Had a great time and was treated well. Great service from the guy working on the evening of the 30th of January. Was given complimentary items and great explanations for everything. Food was yum and especially liked the vege korma and the after dinner tea

Ordered 3 starters and there were no accompanying sauces, not happy. Main curry portion small in comparison to competitors.

Ordered and specifically asked for Mild, as can't eat very spicy. Needed to call in asked why it is 50min late. Came in very very spicy and hot so now it is 3rd day suffering from very sharp pain in my stomach. No sorting it out from restaurant. No competition. So would not order from them again. Happy not in hospital. Hyghien and safety people should check that place.

I’m being honest! Onion bhaji was good, garlic nan was amazing, however the dansak was not nice it lacked flavour it had no pineapple hence why is supposed to be like a sweet n sour with a hint of spice this lacked neither I’m sorry if my review is not as expected.

Use Noor quite regularly but this time it was on another level. Madras had a lovely spicy Smokey taste and the scotch bonnet chilli chicken a brilliant mix of Indian/Chinese style flavours. Genuinely the best takeaway I’ve had in a long time.

My favorate Infian take-away. The food is always great, great blend of spices and ready fairly fast. I usually get it delivered but last time when picking it up, the staff was very nice, we had a wee chat and I even got a naan for free.

Took over 2 hours to be delivered! Whilst curry was tatsy, poppadoms were stale and pakoras were greasy. if you cannot deliver food within an hour of ordering why are you even on Just Eat.

There is a good variety to have for lunch and dinner, I would recommend booking a table if provided .it's the weekend as the long wait might be there.on food part it has great taste but quantity is less as not enough for two people, will recommend to visit if you are good India food lover. Avoid ordering tea as English tea type is serviced which is not good enough to make your off mood correct, you will get disappointed with acceptance.

Delivery 10mins late, curry tasted of dish soap, dessert missing from order. Pakora was good, Manchurian chicken was good.

Decent value, korma a bit bland but veggie dishes were tasty. Poppadoms were slightly stale. Would order the dal and chana again.

The chilli garlic chips were cold and they gave me a plain naan instead of a keema naan which I ordered. Other than that, the food was good. Thank you.
